Topic: Access of Creativity?

How do you think it is, or more so what do you think it is that allows an individual to access their sub-conscious mind?

I have noticed when I lucid dream I have complete access to my subconscious files; I can see beautiful, amazing, complex and fascinating artwork that are somehow stored in my mind.  But the problem is is when I try and recall/remember/see/reproduce what I have already stored. But somehow consciously, it just isn't there.  My logic is is if one could somehow access their subconscious one would then be able to see therefore remember the files that are already stored.

Would awareness, or knowledge be apart of this? Is it something that has to be developed through meditation?

I guess what I'm really wondering is how does one access their creativity?

I've been in a creative rut for the past few months and its really starting to get to me.

I haven't been able to really understand, or discover the issue....

This is something I think should be consulted with fellow NR members...

So what do you think it is, that allows one to have access to their creativity?

Get your hands on a copy of the book called The Artist's Way by Juila Cameron. It is a 12 week course for systematically unblocking your 'creative blocks' in your mind, accepting your true nature as an artist/creator (which you may have partly done by the sounds of it), and gaining access to your creative energy which we all have. She offers discussions on many things, inlcuding people, emotions and metaphysical concepts. Its good stuff and not too pricy.

The world pressures us to participate in the external world as extroverts. The introverted intuitive characteristics are often under attack by various outside forces that rob our ability to let the flow through.  I believe the best way to access "the other side" is to write every day using what creative influences one can muster. Writing poetry and aphorisms in cyberspace daily has helped me to be "continually creative".  Once the brain is opened to this mode of thought one will find a welcomed change in personal perspectives, and one's environment will responde accordingly.  I've seen some positive growth in the communities I frequent. Drawing from the "other side" is connecting to the Unus Mundus. Each of us has the ability to access and express this energy, but few people have the courage to journey deeply into this realm of unknown consequences.  The world seldom rewards an adventurer of inner riches, for this wealth is impossible to tax or lend.

Re: Access of Creativity?

I cannot remember what the article names are but either under matrix or metaphysics at montalk.net, montalk has articles that deal with intention and requesting. Those may offer some help.

Peace,

Passion developes talent. Work on finding this via activities where you can connect with the deeper emotions that release energy. Inspiration is a numinous effect based in the unconscious--your connection to the divine nature of mankind.
