And to further Flog an Expired Thought:

"...What I answered was, "knowledge protects"..."

Knowledge can protect the sanctity and peace of mind. Protecting its (Your) ability to remain aware and flowing of decisive Freewill in traumatic times.

This is the basis of all martial arts training. If you train and train in order to deal with new information - even when that information presents itself violently and overwhelmingly fast - you can keep mindful of your environment and the situation you are in order to make the appropriate adjustments in thought and act.

Remain fluid, able to move in any direction based on the events and information presented to you. The more aware you are - the more conscious you remain when reality twists and turns.

(Dont confuse Freewill with the ability to create any reality scenario, with the ability to freely choose your course of action based on the reality arena you are in and the tools and information available to you, and more importantly - the ability to freely choose your reaction to the given situation - My appologies if this was already completely obvious to you)

Wilde's latest article titled "Forgiveness and Acceptance" - adds another dimension (no pun intended) to this subject of how to approach the "dark side".

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: The Secret Covenent

Wow - synchronicity abounds.  This topic of "why would I want to know this stuff anyway" seems like a critical lesson right now.  I'd say people are being faced more and more with individuals - be it through family, friends, work, or what - who are beginning to collect information on such reality topics as conspiracy, aliens, metaphysics, spirituality, etc. and they are being forced to ask themselves these difficult questions.

"if he/she's keeping track of all this crap, should I also care to?"

Re: The Secret Covenent

Wow - many great posts. I agree "knowledge protects".
While reading all the above I remembered a number of statements made by "Old Chinese" regarding disciplining the mind...one of them basically that the subconscious mind is like an army that must be trained constantly. Allowing it to be lazy does not allow for the furtherance of its main objective. A subconscious that has no discipline is free to obsess needlessly on all the "what ifs" and keeps you off-balance. Which is just as destructive as complete ignorance of potential danger - I think the real trick is like walking along the edge  of a precipice and staying on balance - you must know what is lurking in the canyon or above your head but you cannot fall into the canyon. Pretending there is no danger is ridiculous but becoming paralyzed with fear is just as dangerous.

The "discipline" is what keeps you from obsessing when you have dark days, bad dreams, etc. The focus on the light and love stuff also helps to pull you back from the edge. At any rate, it seems to help me when the world at large encroaches.  Anyway - thanks all for the input - much to digest!!

It seems that we're only being presented with two choices in regards to reacting to information of a negative nature:   Either 1)  Be like the New Age "Love and Light" people, and try to ignore the negative stuff, (putting heads in the sand) in hopes that by not acknowledging the bad, it won't be a part of our reality;  or, 2) REALLY dwell on it and become all riled up and negative and cynical about it........which lowers your frequency.   A negative cyncical pessimistic mindset which only sees everything that's wrong and bad in the world is a dangerous frame of mind to remain in for a long period of time.

I say let's create a third option, which is to acknowledge that the bad exists.....remain as emotionally neutral about it as you can..........then be pro-active and do something about it, if it's something that directly affects you. (For example, abductions, negative attacks, etc.)

I haven't gotten to the bottom of this thread yet but would like to comment on this.

I am one of the conspiracy theorists from the site Blackbox mentions and I agree with this sentament totally. This third option is what I am trying to define and bring into being.

Speaking for myself, I believe that learning to cope with the physical HERE is an integral part of spiritual growth. I think that the present here is negatively oriented but that does not mean existing here has to be negative. This existence is what you make of it. To run from the controllers will solve nothing as they likely also exist anywhere you can run to. Your lack of strength (free will?) will follow you until you confront it.

If you cannot assert your free-will here can you assert it elsewhere? If you are dependent on a benign environment to be free are you [free]?

I see myself as a small part of the human consciousness equal to each other individual that is a part of the whole race. Our combined orientation defines the orientation of humanity.

I think most will agree humanity is currently negatively oriented. This is because a strong minority is negatively oriented and a large majority doesn't care and follows the lead of the strongest.

My personal preference is to experience a humanity that is positively oriented, I suspect many share my desire. I want to create a showing of hands of the human race that clearly shows what everyone desires. I suspect most want to live in a peaceful co-operative society instead of what we experience today.

I can accept a vote against my personal wishes but I think it is critcal that humanity knowingly makes this choice. If humanity can change course to the positive we will all gain and our spiritual growth will accelerate enormously.

It is scary to individually stand up to the powerful negative forces here and say I am of the light but if the majority of the human race does the same the darkness will diminish.

The letter in the original post reflects reality here accurately in my opinion.

Re: The Secret Covenent

I think Montalk and most who discuss such things are at the top of their league already. You must merely think what you wish to be, and you are it as long as you do not negate the very thought itself with programming. The YCYOR way of things. The third option, as you describe it opetero, is the best way to describe how I act now upon reality. Some can take it seriously via the third option or they can take it by its polarity instead of being indeterminate. Picking positive due to comfort-factor of human-existence.

I agree, we need those of us that are truly conscious upon the feeding frenzy occuring, to take charge, however you must realize that this is already occuring. There are many of us arising and more will multiple with the "indigo" generations. Your voice and opinion, Opetero, will not only be heard but its range will ramify and magnify progressively as we network together. Network.
