I've seen a lot of lovely poetry all over the forum, and thought it would be nifty to have a place especially for our verses. So here's one of my own to start...

Vision

There is the dream
Golden and blue
Soul's truth
There is not enough life to make it fade
And not enough pain to mar its beauty
The center
The only reason
The longing glimpse
Eternity given

It's 6 A.M and the alarm clock shouldn't exist
The thought of calling in sick, that would be an awesome twist

I guess I'd better get up, make the bed and wash up

I got to leave the house in 30.... damn job
I guess I don't like it alot

It's ok, it's friday anyway

Another 8 hours of labour
I guess the week is in my favour

Then again, what's the fuss
Atleast I don't have to take a bus.

It's pay day today full two weeks with overtime
Full $450 cheque for an hourly nickel and dime

No worries it's not real, silly

Your two poems could be incorporated into one.

Was it implosion or explosion, I don't know

Whatever it was, great self undoing, a departure

Making half the money for the same work

Around better people and an eye now to the Real

Aye, this is the locus, finding what to strive after

Good hard work and study, always fatigued

However now I feel more balanced the dream

The beauty is not gone it will never die

Nebulous sun, what makes you glow
Is there another, like you below
What forces keep both Man and Sea

The stars tempt, so far away
