Topic: strange dizziness

Hi.  Lately I've been getting very overwhelming feelings of dizziness.  It's not like ordinary dizziness, it's much more intense and feels localised at the back of the head, and when it happens I am unaware of anything in my surroundings besides that...I feel like I have to slow myself down and lift myself out of it, a bit like stopping myself from falling into a trance.  It gradually creeps up and gets to be about as attention-commanding and unnerving as an ear ringing that's more of a sensation/vibration than an actual noise, if that makes any sense...

Just wondering if anyone has any insights...

Thanks

Re: strange dizziness

There could be so many different reasons for this from the physical like low or high blood pressure, ear canals probs, post viral infections, side effects from drugs, sudden movement, tiredness, geo stress, allergies heart conditions  etc as well as psycological causes or even spiritual. To be honest a healer would probably have to take a full case history of Your life and would never just go on a few symptoms as you have presented and as much as i like to stay away from Doctors generally maybe it would not hurt to get it checked out.
I feel it would be unfair and potentially dangerous to you to even guess or speculate about this.
If it were me and i was worried i would see both a medical doctor and a homeopath/healer.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Re: strange dizziness

Hi Panda.  I agree with doc that you should see someone if you're worried about it, although they'll probably shrug their shoulders when they can't find anything.  I started having dizzy spells a few years ago.  It can be many many things, as doc pointed out, but mine is Lyme disease, I believe.  I've become my own doctor since none of the western docs and their tests could tell me what was wrong.  I went thru many neurological exams and they couldn't find the cause of my dizziness, ear ringing, numbing of arms, headaches, etc.  So I just quit going to them.  Oh and we lost our insurance, but I'd already written them (the docs) off so it didn't matter.

So be on the lookout for other symptoms. Keep a journal if you need to.  It'll help; especially if you're experiencing brain fog.  Lyme and MS can both cause dizziness, and brain fog, among many other symptoms.

Do you feel okay other than the dizziness?

I hope you start feeling better soon.

I believe that you are not talking about anything that has to do with physical or even mental dizziness.

1. Is this 'dizziness' that you are experiencing a thought wondering away from a task that you are performing at a given time, into an almost non regainable state of the thought?

2. Are you experiencing the phenomenon where a 'thought' wonders into areas that are not perceivable in beta state?

I ask because that's what I experience from time to time.

Peace, PhiConcept.

Re: strange dizziness

Hi PhiConcept, yes its very similar what you described, probably the same phenomenon but it's difficult to explain.

I don't know what to make of it.
