Topic: Birth of Jesus - Sept. 11, 3 B.C.

http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r217/Shlichus7/Blowing-2.jpg

Jesus was born on the Feast of Trumpets on September 11th 3 B.C. and he was conceived on Hanukkah December 13th 4 B.C. This can be validated through scripture by calculating the time of birth of his cousin, John the Baptist who was exactly 6 months older (See Luke 1).

John the Baptist's Father Zechariah was a Priest in the Temple after the division of "Abijah." In 2nd Chronicles 24 we find what time of year the division of Abijah would serve in the temple. Therefore when the angel Gabriel announced to Zechariah that his wife Elisabeth would conceive a son, we know what time of year that was and from that we know when John the Baptist was conceived. So we count 271 days forward (normal gestation period) and we find that John the Baptist was born on Passover in 3 B.C. We count 180 days (6 months) forward and we find that Jesus was born on a Holy Day of Israel called "Yom Teruah" (Day of Blowing Trumpets) (See Leviticus 23). This day is also the "Head of the Year" in Hebrew it is "Rosh" (Head) Ha'Shanah (The Year).

The Catholic Church made up "Christ Mass" to assimilate Jesus to the pagan sun god that was always "reincarnated" each December 25th on the winter solstice in astrology! "Tammuz" was this pagan sun-god also known as "Baal." God showed this to Ezekiel in Ezekiel 8 that they were worshiping this pagan sun god in Israel and he said it is an Abomination!

So why is this so important? Because Jesus' real date of birth validates prophecy! The Bible tells us in Revelation 18:10, that "the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Now by understanding all this, I came up with an exact time-line of "Daniel's 70th Week" from the "going forth of the command to rebuild Jerusalem" (Daniel 9:24) which was the decree given by King Cyrus in 457 B.C. There are 70 weeks X 7 years=490 years for the length of this prophecy. The word "weeks" here in Daniel 9:24-27 is the Hebrew word "Shebuah" which means a "seven year period" hence "Seventy Weeks" means 70 times 7, which is the exact same formula that Jesus gave his disciples when they asked him "how many times we should forgive our brother?" In other words 70 X 7 = FORGIVENESS!

When the 490 year prophecy is completed, there will be a completeness to God's atonement for sin towards all of mankind. Some will receive it and some will reject it, but it will be finished in the earth!

Okay, so lets add 486.5 years to 457 B.C. and we come to the exact date that Jesus died on the cross which was Wednesday, April 3rd, in 30 A.D. This day was the Passover on the Jewish Calendar. There is no such thing as "Good Friday." Good Friday discredits Jesus and makes it appear that he lied when he said he would be "three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." Good Friday puts him in the heart of the earth only 1 day, not 3.

The day after his crucifixion, was an annual Sabbath called the "Feast of Unleavened Bread" and then 2 days later was the weekly Sabbath.

From these dates we find that Jesus fulfilled the first 3.5 years of Daniel's 70th week leaving only 3.5 years to complete of this 490 year prophecy. The last half of Daniel's 70th Week (3.5 years), picks up with the antichrist setting up the "Abomination of Desolation" in the 3rd Jewish Temple, and this is when the "Tribulation" period actually begins. (Matthew 24:15-21) Concurrently, the "two witnesses" in Revelation 11 will also have a ministry that lasts for 1, 260 days (3.5 years).

Calculated from Luke 1. Nice. What about Matthew 1:18-2:23? I wouldn't place faith in either account since they contradict each other.

The english translation of the bible is without a doubt ripe in errors and one might occasionally stumble across what seems to be contradictions.  Nonetheless, all historical documents when presented from different sources differ in one sence or the other.  The older the historical documents are the easier it is to discredit them as false.

It seems however that you are not interested in biblical accounts as historical evidence, therefore I don't understand your keen remarks about Jesus life and ministry on earth as the true son of God.

It would seem to me that 'interdimensional portal' messages, or so you think, are much more valid than what is recorded in history not only thru the bible but thru other sources aswell.

"Seems to be contrdictions?" Let's not go there. Biblical fictions are very well documented.

The bible is a set of put together historical scriptures from different sources along with prophecies that, mind you, are 100% accurate.  It's clearly evident that you are way out of your league on the subject of theology and history regarding biblical events.  You try to discredit history but you haven't given one fact proving your claims.

Son of the morning star,
how brightly thou doust shine.
Enought to blind humanity,
and these old eyes of mine.

How many times must the story,
over and over be told.
Before some soul takes notice,
discovers what is young is old.

Cut furrows deep into the sap,
like  le canyon grande.
Many cannot traverse the gap,
or see the modus operandi.

I make the rules,
you write what I say.
I will ensure ,
they come true someday.

With the passage of time,
I travel along.
Use to my advantage,
it's forgetfull song.

Black is white,
white is not.
Colourblind.
Flip Flop.

With every fibre of your being,
deep inside you know.
Our view of life is,
the biggest illusionist show.

Phi, it sounds like you subscribe to the infallability of the Bible. That's fine. My position is that the Gospels were never meant to be historical documents, but rather, instruction books of a baptist cult. But the nativity stories are just legends. Myths. Besides, two wildly divergent, patrilinear (!) genealogies are an embarrassment: both authors deny that Joseph was even Jesus' real "father." They were invented by the early Jewish Christians who needed a Messiah with Davidic bona fides. Luke and Matthew obviously represented two distinct Jewish Christian groups. Therefore to these groups, the father of Jesus was not God, but Joseph. The primitive conclusion of Jesus' parent's can be discerned at ii, 33 (placed at first after 38), "his father and his mother."

As the Greek-speaking gentiles took over, we see the familiar pagan mythic motifs of ressurrected solar gods birthed by virgins, and these streams were worked into the mix with the many interpolations, elaborations, revisions and surcharges that occur throughout the Gospels. Imitation and lifting miraculous birth stories from whole cloth from the Old Testament were not thought of as lying to these authors. They had a job to do. They created Theological Art as Fictional Narrative. They would create "proofs" of prophecy by ripping off stories from the Hebrew Bible and claiming "prophecy fullfilled!" I must admit, they did a damned good job.

The Bible is essentially a religious history.  Even those who wrote the Bible made it clear it was not a secular history, even though secular events are referred to. It is a book about God and his relationship with man.  That cannot be proven or dis-proven logically because it is a spiritual matter.  However, people and events mentioned in the Bible might be found in the historical writings of other nearby countries and in the historical records of the Israelite nations other than the Bible.

The earliest records of the Israelites were written on papyrus, rather than clay tablets that were used by other cultures at that time.  Many of those papyri have been destroyed.  The ancient Israelites, while they loom large in our eyes, were a small city state for the most part. There is little proof of the use of slaves in Egypt or of the Exodus, of the conquering of the Canaanites by the Israelites or of King David’s reign.  But absence of proof is not proof of absence.  It only takes one find to change that picture.

For example, until 1993 there was no proof of the existence of King David or even of Israel as a nation prior to Solomon. Then in 1993 archeologists found proof of King David's existence outside the Bible.  At an ancient mound called Tel Dan, in the north of Israel, words carved into a chunk of basalt were translated as "House of David" and "King of Israel" proving that he was more than just a legend.

In 1990 Frank Yurco, an Egyptologist at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, used hieroglyphic clues from a monolith known as the Merneptah Stele to identify figures in a Luxor wall relief as ancient Israelites.  The stele itself, dated to 1207 B.C. celebrates a military victory by the Pharaoh Merneptah.  “Israel is laid waste” it reads.  This lets us know the Israelites were a separate people more than 3,000 years ago.

There are a number of other ancient inscriptions that have provided valuable insights into biblical history from a non-biblical perspective. Among these are the Gezar Calendar, the Samaria Ostraca, the Siloam Inscription, the Lachish Letters, and numerous Phoenician and Aramaic inscriptions. (These can be examined in translation, with reference to the originals, in Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament.

Ancient Tablet Vouches for Biblical King

This small clay tablet from the British Museum's collection records a payment by a Babylonian officer named Nebo-Sarsekim. Nebo-Sarsekim is described on the tablet as being Nebuchadnezzar's "chief eunuch." In chapter 39 of the Book of Jeremiah, this individual is described as being with King Nebuchadnezzar II at the siege of Jerusalem in the year 587 B.C.

Sweet. Thanks, for that. The Sumerians, Akkaadians, and the Babylonians were very influential sources for the writers of the Bible.

Re: Birth of Jesus - Sept. 11, 3 B.C.

That's great, no doubt most of those mentioned in the old testament were real people.
Nations too.
Gods must have come down from heaven and layed with Women too.
Seems something Gods would need to do.
Pity we can't pull out tablets and script of historians from new testament times mentioning JC, Jeshuah, Yeshuah etc?
What was Mary and Josephs surnames?
I wounder how the messiah was given the surname, the Christ, was that his real surname or imposed upon him posthumously?

Re: Birth of Jesus - Sept. 11, 3 B.C.

My mind is completely open toward believing Jesus as some sort of cosmic savior or "God" incarnate.  However, I don't think his message was "believe in my identity".  I am pretty confident that a lot of gospel material was borrowed from the Egyptians.   Gospel of Thomas and Mark are more accurate sources as both contain primative forms of Q.  Mark has an adoptionist theology (So is Romans) which I believe is closer to the truth than any other type of Christology.  Mark also alluded to lots of secret teachings.  It would interesting if someone can dig up a copy of Secret Gospel of Mark which Clement talked about in one of his letter in the first century.

Re: Birth of Jesus - Sept. 11, 3 B.C.

My mind is completely open toward believing that God or Prime Creator, Supreme Being or First Cause did not have an only begotton son but many billions of offspring.
There was no need for the brightest spark to walk this earth in human form because we are already here.
There was no need for him to die and be crucified for our sins because it is we who forgive ourselves and atone for our misdemeanor's.
Why did it have to be a son anyway, whats wrong with it being a daughter?
Promotion of male energy.
The whole messiah and bible thingy promotes externalism which is the wrong bloody direction folks, mis--->direction<---->.
That's what I think anyway.

Sorry if this feels like an expression of some frustration.
