Topic: A Voice from Heaven

I was going to post this in Spirituality but thought it's probably got more to do with A&E:

I need some input if possible, I have been thinking about this occurance a few days now, I now think that religion, all of it, is bogus but what kind of technology is used on people when they do this?

From my Members introduction thread:

I have been a very religious person (Mormon.3 years, I am now inactive in this Church) with absolute obedience and purity of mind, to the point were one bright summers day, as I was walking down a street,a voice, spoke and said, word for word, exact quote, "You are going to receive an assigment to speak in Church tomorrow".
I smiled and forgot the whole thing.
The next morning as I shook the Bishops 2nd counsilors hand, he reached into this pocket and pulled out a small, folded piece of paper.
I took it and without opening it, knew what it was, I only opened it during the prayer meeting to see what topic the wanted me to speak on, it was "Faith".
Then I remembered the voice from the day before and this voice was filled with power, command, love, authority and peace, that shook my very being.

What is being used to project a voice, that did not seem like my own or from me in anyway but an external force being able to project inside of me?
There did seem to be a feeling of love present, a feel good factor.
Bear in mind, I was not imagining this, this really happened to me, I was clear of drugs and alcohol for years and of sound body and mind.
I often thought before my awakening why "God" did this?
Was it his voice, Jesus an angel a prophet , some sort of lowly messenger and why me?
I experienced what most wait or hope a lifetime for, somehow the gates of heaven opened and a voice actually spoke to me from heaven and I still rejected this religion.

How do they do this?

Re: A Voice from Heaven

Maybe it was your inner self/universal force.  These neutral intelligences have no personality per se and must seek creative ways to get our attention and convey messages.  How one receives these depends on one's state of mind.

Hearing voices in your head is so common that it is normal, psychologists believe.
Dutch findings suggest one in 25 people regularly hears voices.

Contrary to traditional belief, hearing voices is not necessarily a symptom of mental illness, UK researchers at Manchester University say.

Indeed, many who hear voices do not seek help and say the voices have a positive impact on their lives, comforting or inspiring them.

Human diversity

Researcher Aylish Campbell said: "We know that many members of the general population hear voices but have never felt the need to access mental health services.

"Some experts even claim that more people hear voices and don't seek psychiatric help than those who do."

Some who hear voices describe it as being like the experience of hearing someone call your name only to find that there is no one there.

People also hear voices as if they are thoughts entering the mind from somewhere outside themselves. They will have no idea what the voice might say. It may even engage in conversation.

The Manchester team want to investigate why some people view their voices positively while others become distressed and seek medical help.

Ms Campbell said: "It doesn't seem to be hearing voices in itself that causes the problem.

"What seems to be more important is how people go on to interpret the voices."

She said external factors, such as a person's life experiences and beliefs, might influence this.

Context

"If a person is struggling to overcome a trauma or views themselves as worthless or vulnerable, or other people as aggressive, they may be more likely to interpret their voices as harmful, hostile or powerful.

"Conversely, a person who has had more positive life experiences and formed more healthy beliefs about themselves and other people might develop a more positive view of their voices."

Past studies have found that people who hear voices have often had a traumatic childhood.

Ms Campbell said stigmatisation could also play a role.

"If a person starts hearing voices and also holds the beliefs of some of society that this means they are mentally ill, it is going to cause them more distress. It also stops them talking about it to others."

Professor Marius Romme, president of Intervoice, a "hearing voices" charity, said: "Because of the fears and misunderstandings in society and within psychiatry about hearing voices, they are generally regarded as a symptom of an illness, something that is negative to be got rid of, and consequently the content and meaning of the voice experience is rarely discussed.

"Our work and research has shown more than 70% of people who hear voices can point to a traumatic life event that triggered their voices; that talking about voices and what they mean is a very effective way to reduce anxiety and isolation; and that even when the voices are overwhelming and seemingly destructive they often have an important message for the hearer."

Paul Corry of the mental health charity Rethink said: "Rethink welcomes this investigation, which we hope will help support our campaign to bring mental health issues into the mainstream."

People interested in participating in the University of Manchester research should call 0161 306 0405 or email voiceresearch@hotmail.co.uk.

Participants should be aged 16 or over, have been hearing voices for at least six months and live in the northwest of England.

calpamu, are you saying that YOU are a Mormon??? Because I've heard the Mormons are heavily involved in mind control. No offense if you are....:(

Microwaves/scalar and implants, if it's indeed mind control as Shoogie noted.  Mind control author Fritz Springmeier has talked about the "voices in the head" phenomena happening to people who are not schizophrenic (and are not on drugs) but who are being messed with.

Mormonism is one of those highly suspect religions going all the way back to its origins, more so than some others.  There's even more funny stuff going on for those who live near its head temple in Salt  Lake City, since there's so much funny stuff going on there from what I keep reading over the years.  (although I think you live in Ireland, right?)

A side note on the foundation of Mormonism, from William Bramley's "The Gods of Eden":

"The Gods of Eden" wrote:

Chapter 30 "Master Smith and the Angel"

We have seen many instances in which religious agitation and revivalism were associated with the UFO phenomenon:  the Hebrew rebellions in Egypt under Moses, the Christian agitations under Jesus, the Islamic militancy under Mohammed, and the religious activism during the UFO-plagued years of the Black Death.

In the early 20th century, a particularly interesting bout of intense religious fever overtook some communities in British Wales.  This incident is known as the Welsh Revival of 1904-05, in which a preacher driven by "inner voice" electrified the countryside with his sermons.  People were reporting all manner of unusual phenomena during the Revival years, including bright moving lights in the sky that we would today label UFOs.

[...]

The Welsh Revival was not an isolated event.  It followed a similar occurance in New York state almost a century earlier.  The events in New York included a vision leading to the founding of the Mormon Church by a teenaged youth named Joseph Smith.  His story is worth looking into.

Joseph Smith described it as a beautiful clear day in the spring of 1820.  Master Joseph was 14 to 15 years of age and his mind was in a state of confusion.   In his hometown of Manchester, New York, intense quarreling had broken out between various Christian sets, all of which were vying for members.  To sort out the controversies in his mind, Joseph climbed a lonely hill near his home, prayed aloud, and hoped that God would answer him.  What happened next was probably more than he had bargained for:

_____
"....immediately I was seized upon by some power which entirely overcame me, and had such an astonishing influence over me as to bind my tongue so that I could not speak.   Thick darkness gathered around me, and it seemed to me for a time as I were doomed to sudden destruction."
- Joseph Smith 2:15.
_____

Just as Joseph was about to give in to despair he saw:

_____
"...a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.

"It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound.   When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air.  One of them spoke unto me, calling me by name, and said, pointing to the other - This is My Beloved Son.  Hear Him!"
- Joseph Smith 2:16-17
_____

So began a series of appearances by an "angel" whose reported dictates and pronouncements are the foundation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also known as the Mormon Church.  This church is, without a doubt, an important institution.  Its membership in 1985 totaled approximately 5.8 million people and the Church as extensive business and land holdings.  Beginning with a teenaged boy on a hill in New York State, the Church has grown to influence the lives of many people.

Joseph's vision on the hill was the first of several visits that he would receive from his "angel" friend.  The second visit occurred three and a half years after the first.   Joseph Smith had just gone to bed, was in the act of praying, when:

_____
"I discovered a light appearing in my room, which continued to increase until the room was lighter than noonday, when immediately a personage appeared at my bedside, standing in the air, for his feet did not touch the floor.

"He had on a loose robe of ost exquisite whiteness beyond anything eartthy I had ever seen; nor do I believe that any earthly thing could be made to appear so exceedingly white and brilliant."
- Joseph Smith 2:30-31
_____

The figure in Joseph's room had naked hands, wrists, feet and ankles.  It also had a bare head, neck and exposed chest.   The figure introduced itself as Moroni, the angel of a man who had lived centuries earlier.  The resurrected "Moroni" imparted a message to Joseph consisting of quotes from Final Judgment prophesies in the Old Testament.  Moroni stated that the prophesies were about to be fulfilled.   Moroni also informed Joseph about the existence of ancient metal plates which contained some of the history of the early North American continent.  Joseph was told that he must later dig up the plates, have them translated, and present the translation to the world.  After this message, the image of Moroni vanished in a unique way:

_____
"I saw the light in the room begin to gather immediately around the person of him who had been speaking to me, and it continued to do so until the room was again left dark, except just around him;  when instantly I saw, as it were, a conduit open right up into heaven, and he ascended til he entirely disappeared...."

- Joseph Smith 2:43
_____

Joseph did not have long to ponder the curious phenomenon.  The mysterious light and visitor soon re-entered his room.  Of this second visit that night, Joseph relates:

_____
"He [the angel] commenced, and again related the very same things which he had done at his first visit, without the least variation; which having done, he informed me of great judgments which were coming upon the earth, with great desolations by famine, sword, and pestilence; and that these grievous judgments would come on the earth in this [Joseph Smith's] generation.  Having related these things, he again ascended as he had done before."
- Joseph Smith 2:45
_____

The apparition in Joseph's bedroom came and went repeatedly the full night.  On the following the day, while he was out in the field, the exhausted young Smith abruptly lost his strength while trying to climb a fence and fell unconscious to the ground.  upon regaining awareness, Joseph observed above him the same angel repeating the same message.  A new postscript had been added however;  the angel instructed Joseph to tell his father of the visions.

[....]

Joseph's angel, Moroni, was different than the angels described by Ezekiel and John in the Bible.   Smith's angels did not wear tiems that could be interpreted as a helmut and boots.   Moroni was a figure in a true robe.  However, Joseph appears to have been looking at a recorded image projected through the window into his room.  The clue to this lies in Joseph's words that Moroni had repeated the second message "with the least variation."  This suggests a recorded message.   The manner in which Moroni disappeared indicates a projected light image from a source in the sky outside the house.  When Moroni returned for a third time that same night, Smith "heard him rehearse or repeat over again....the same things - as before...." (Joseph Smith 2:48-49.) If Smith's account is accurate and UFO-related, there would be tremendous humor in it.  Today we can go to Disneyland and marvel at remarkable, life-like, projected images of talking heads in the Haunted House ride.   A similar projection viewed by a young country bumpkin in the 19th century would no doubt be considered nothing less than a true vision from God.  Certainly young Smith's narrative resembles earlier Custodial [alien] encounters in many respects:  a bright light descends from the sky followed by the appearance of "angels."  Joseph's testimony that he felt seized and unable to move is identical to several modern UFO close encounters in which eyewitnesses report being immobilized, especially before an abduction."

Anyway, so that establishes the woo-woo origins of the Mormon church.  So going back to voices in the head (and even images) - well, higher stuff has this capability.  It's technology.

The voice could also have been coming from your inner self, or a higher self, like what Solofleks was saying.  But other "stuff" can't be ruled out either, especially when it concerns religion, and especially when it's one of the highly suspect religions such as Mormonism, and especially if the recipient is likely to interpret the voice as being that of "God" or from "the heavens" or whatever.  If the voice source was indeed other "stuff" and not your own inner/higher self or intuition, then it's in my opinion that "they" - whoever they are, be it aliens or humans with high end technology - tend to select targets who they know will fall for it, and interpret their targeting as being religious/God/angels, etc., basically, something other than what it really is.

Re: A Voice from Heaven

I had a voice rattle my head once. It was very abrupt and I didnt see it comming. It vibrated at the third eye area. It was very strange and I dont know what it was. Im not schitzo or anything like that, I wasnt messed up and I didnt imagine it. It scared the shit out of me but I settled down quick because it didnt last long. Up until this point I was periodically getting squeeking sensations in my forhead, in the third eye area. Somtimes a squeek but most the time a strange pressure would develope there like somone pushing their thumb or finger very hard into my head. THen, one night, this squeek/vibration actually formed words. It didnt say anything spectacular even, but it did align with my thoughts. I was laying down thinking about how much I hated my job at the time, i was 19 and mowing lawns, and was thinking about quitting. All the sudden this voice came and said " you will go.....ok". So, I went to work the next day. Its just so weird. After reading about all this mind control stuff I wonder if that is it. Why the f*ck would god tell me to go to work at a job I hate? Why would my higher self do it? On top of that, the voice was very drone sounding, very monotone and just flat...weird.  An old girlfriend of mind said she heard a voice too once that sounded like that, though it was in her ears and no in her forhead like mine was. Anyones else experience this kind of voice? Of all the possibilities, I can imagine a mind controlling government or rogue ETs telling me " yes go to a job you hate......you will do as we say" kind of thing. They are all about control and manipulation so Im not rulling that out though I dont fully believe thats what happened.  I was seriously about to quit, but that voice stopped me. I wasnt afraid of what would happen if I didnt do what it said, I just figured...well what could it hurt if I just ride out this shitty job which I did.... I rode that job to the bitter end BLAH! lol I hate landscaping.

Re: A Voice from Heaven

I am not sure how they do it, but I think I have seen them before, some of those that do do it.  I think the negative entities influence our thoughts all the time which is why we see a lot of the crazy actions that happen in the world, people listening to negative voices.   On the other side is the positive voices such as you hear that communicated with you.  It seems that as a simple way of explaining it they only need to have a vibration match with you in order to put through a communication, so you have to be in a state that has stretched to close to theirs and they a have to stretch from their vibration to meet you.  What this means I am not sure, possibly has something to do with the vibration rate of the atoms in your body, or the vibrational frequency of your etheric body.  It could even have something to do with electromagnetic waves as Lyra was mentioning with the microwaves.

Re: A Voice from Heaven

One time before open a door and going to a place, I heard “Do not go in there, it is a TRAP!”
The voice was the same  from a video game I was playing, also in English(I speak Portuguese),
and the same phrase...
Well, I thought it was my imagination, but it was indeed a serious TRAP and as like
the videogame, it costs dearly and almost could not escape...

Who did the trap? Well, consider it made by the “you know who...” LOL

Re: A Voice from Heaven

Thanks for the replies.Alot of work went into some of them so I am very gratefull.
I left the Mormons years ago.I've read the Gods of Eden.
It's hard to describe,it's a voice which is not  heard in the normal way, it fills your entire being and somehow you can feel emotions or the state of the person projecting the voice, who was deffinitely powerfull, confident and even filled with love.
You know, like how we imagine life is really like, were you can talk to people telepathically and sense others emotions in your soul.
I've read the Gods of Eden amongst others and this has lead me to see that Mormonism is most probably, like most religions, false, built on freemasonary and not the one true religion of Christ on earth.
All the genealogy they do, which is an incredible amount of information unsurpassed by any other human archive could be related to having records of millions of beings living and dead in order to trace bloodlines for their own purposes.
Now this voice event did occur, of that I am sure and did not come from myself or inner-self or the delusions of an imbalanced mind.
It was either a good force or a bad.
I understand how negative forces can appear loving and as angels of light.
As I suspect Mormonism is wrong then I am of the mindset that it was used to reinforce my belief in the Church and to keep me there.
I have been wondering lately how it was achieved, bear in mind it is as if your entire being fills up with this voice and emotion not just your brain.
It even had a pregognative slant, were an event which was to occur more than 24hours later was revealed to me, implying they know the future and this was not just an episode of a voice manifesting itself from within my brain.
I heard voices calling my name many years later, the doctor asked me what they said and all I relplied was "My name".
This was when a  breakdown occured in the chemical, brainy sense, my days filled with panic attacks but these are all over now and nothing like the voice I heard that sunny summers day all those years ago.
I chucked the anti-depressants in the bin for I felt they were doing more harm than good and just became well, I think through taking better care of myself ,better living, learning to forgive and love all and positive thinking and intent.

I wish I could relay throught the medium of script the feeling and tone of the voice that day but that's not possible.
One day I may discover how they do this, I suppose it's not of paramount importance.
I believe in love, forgivness, compassion and salvation of a sorts just not the way in which Christians do.
I never dreamed in my life that I would ever deny the God of Christianty but now that I have I know I have because the Christian God just does not make sense.
Alot like myself sometimes. smile

Re: A Voice from Heaven

One thing I have learned is that just because the malevolent powers have the technology or spiritual powers to project voices, does not mean that the voice(s) is only from them.  It could be (as mentioned above) that some voices (especially the positive uplifting meaningful ones) are a common occurance and valid (coming from your higher self or higher source, which might explain its pre-cognitive nature).

I can attest (since I am schizophrenic and have these experiences daily) that yes, some voices (the majority in my case) are from malevolent sources that use certain types of technology (spies), but that yes, there are good ones too.

Schizophrenia can be better defined as not being able to function or care for yourself without the aid of medicines, and paranoia is part of it too.

So just because someone hears voices, does not mean they are ill in any way.

Those are my thoughts on this matter.

As a candle burning on, in the breezy shades of night, I keep up my faith and underset my hope, to call on a realm of light --Little Light of Love --Eric Serra --The Fifth Element (movie soundtrack)

Waving banners, swinging swords, queens and kings and other lords, and the battles of our pride, greed and hunger deep inside, all the sorrow born of pain, cruelty and cruelty again, who will stop this vicious spin, Open Arms and Let Love In  --My Heart Calling  --Moa and Eric Serra --The Messenger (movie soundtrack)

Re: A Voice from Heaven

I see that now thanks, yes it could have been some higher force acting with good intent.
I suppose wondering about malevolent entities and their technology and how it is used is not as important as learning how to better yourself.
Thanks for your thoughts keen.
Pictus, sorry, I totally missed that.
Quite strange indeed.
Care to go into a little more detail regarding this trap and voice?

Re: A Voice from Heaven

On the video game before my personage goes to a cave a voice warns
about the trap, which is some monsters and some mines.
The trap made for me was much more sophisticated/complex, also
delayed effect.

My personage in the videogame ignores the voice, but survives the trap and so do I smile
