Topic: The Da Vinci (aka the Rosslyn) chapel echoes to sound of Saturn

This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while.  It's a father and son who deciphered some of the architecture at the Rossyln Chapel.  They found out some of the carvings were actual music encoded into the stone of one of the archways!!

I would really like to hear this piece of music! yikes I've always felt that of all the art forms, music was the most fascinating. The way it can contain emotions, thoughts and feelings just through sound...and now pictures as well!

But what if the hexagon on Saturn was man or [alien made]? That's what I wondered when I first saw it.

There's a link to a clip of it about halfway down the page that pinky posted.  Groovy graphics, too.  They're different every time you play it.

lilmomma, you should check this website out  http://www.stuart-mitchell.com/ .  You can listen to a sampling of the music there, and even buy a CD of it, if you wish.  The link to listen is on the left-hand side of the screen.  (I had a hard time seeing it when I found it, lol) big_smile
