Topic: Red Dimension?

Some years back (around the year 2000) the following happened:

While dreaming, I found myself in the back garden of my dad's house and standing on the lawn. I was immediately aware I was dreaming, yet there was a crystal-clear clarity of mind that I've never felt in any lucid dream before or after that; in fact I don't think I've ever felt such prolonged clarity or awareness of the moment even in waking life. I could feel/sense everything around me as I slowly walked up the lengthy garden: the grass under my bare feet, the bushes and leafs brushing on my skin as I went past, as well as the air/wind on me as I moved and all the time my mind was clear as a bell.

The other thing, which was truly remarkable, was that everything was a shade of red; not in a hellish kind of way, but rather it was a stunningly beautiful scene. Even blades of grass differed in redness according to the amount of light or shade they were situated in. As I got to the end of the garden I saw a towering pillar of white light (the only non-red thing around me). I then wished myself to rise up higher so I could get a better look around me; at which point I rose up to roughly twice the height of the houses. From this position I could see over the roof tops for miles around and everything was still red, even the sky.

There were no dodgy computer graphic-type characteristics to what I was seeing, as I've seen in some lucid experiences; nor did anything become temporarily 2 dimensional as I moved around it. It was as clear and real as anything I've ever seen.

What was also interesting was at that time me and my dad were distanced from each other, due to my having left home in less than friendly circumstances. Some months after this event we eventually got together, went out one night, got bladdered and I ended up going back to his and crashing in my old bedroom. The next morning I woke up and opened the curtains, looked down the length of the garden and then got the shock of my life: Where I expected to see the end of the garden, i.e. a vegetable growing area, my dad had built a huge shed-type structure which I found out later was his own personal on-site mini-pub/bar (yes, he's got issues wink).

As soon as I saw it I immediately remembered the 'red' experience and how the pillar of light was in the same spot as where my dad had built this thing. I also remembered how I'd once read a theory which claimed how when new structures are built in this dimension, they don't always appear immediately in corresponding dimensions and as such they can gradually appear according to the 'speed' of the time field over there.

I've searched books and the Net for descriptions of any simialr experiences, yet found nothing. Perhaps it was just a product of my mind; maybe the pillar of light wasn't related to my dad's new play area whatsoever. Either way, I'm interested to know if anyone has heard of or seen anything similar to this.

What a cool "dream"! I've seen worlds that are pale-pink in lighting, but red is definitely interesting. Even though technically it's of the lowest vibrational spectrum, it definitely has a "raw" power to it that's deeply connected with passion and a strong connection with the life force that surrounds us. Perceiving of things in this light makes the qualities of this colour part of you, as perception is everything.

Thanks for that Magical Mongoose, it's very helpful. I'm not familair with the colours of the vibrational spectrum, so that's something I'll get looking up when I grab a moment later on. Sounds fascinating, especially the idea of the colours becoming part of us if we perceive things in their light. Your mongoose seems to have frequented the pink worlds you mentioned, as quite a bit has rubbed off tongue

Hi GreenT... Your dream is very interesting, and although I've heard stories of other people witnessing similar things (either in waking visions or dreams, like you did), these other stories were always presented in a context of possible prophesied future events.  (y'know the whole end of the world thing where the sky's supposed to turn blood red and stuff).... Anyway, your dream is different in that you were able to verify an actual reason for the white light.  And that got me thinking about the Time factor instead of end-time prophecies. 

These wikipedia explanations of "redshift" and "gravitational redshift" (The Einstein Effect) may help to explain how light is affected by time, gravity, and space.  I'm no expert in science, but I do think it's possible that what you saw when you were dreaming was a sort of unmanifested energy-reality realm, where you were able to see how things are colored by time, instead of by physical light. 

On a really wacky side-note, your dream got me wondering on the possible explanations for those other peoples' dreams and visions (as relating to "end time prophecies"), too.  I've always assumed that IF the sky (and everything else) were to actually literally turn red for some reason, there would have to be a physical explanation.  That's always bugged me because I couldn't imagine what could have such an effect on the entire world.  But after hearing of your dream experience, I'm beginning to wonder if the whole 2012 "shift" may actually be related to a kind of time/gravity distortion that could throw us all into some kind of weird looking "red-time" world.  I dunno, but it's a thought.

Thanks for those links Pink, they're a fascinating read.

There was an absence of any type of independant (for want of a better word) life-forms such as birds, insects, people, etc; so maybe it was a realm where only more static manifestations of life are to be seen.

I'm so science buff either, so I won't try and pretend I know what I'm talking about with regard to electromagnetic waves, etc; but having read your links I'm a little curious as to the workings of such things. After having been force-fed physics at school I'd resigned myself to our being sworn enemies for life, but this has re-kindled my interest to an extent smile
