Re: Positivity and love, stolen from knowlege

I like Mike Oldfield and Enya. Both capture an enchantingly timeless atmosphere. Not positive in a giddy way, but positive in a mystical / transcendental way.

When I hear a song, I am drawn to figure out where it's coming from... what part of external and internal reality inspired it? That may be more important than the style itself. You will find musicians who are deeply reflective and sentient in pretty much all genres, and whatever they make stands out from the rest. It is the power of the soul that shines through.

I enjoy metal, but those metal bands and songs that don't have soul power are less appealing to me than those of another genre that do have soul power. What is soul power? The power to move your soul through resonance. Wherever the song is getting its energy is the same place within you that receives that energy. Dark meaningful music, for example, resonates with thoughtful minds aware and perhaps preoccupied with the gravity of things.

Speaking of some dark music with very positive core, I see Amorphis' My Kantele as the best example. Amorphis is an interesting group, highly dark music with real soul in it. For me their best song is acoustic version of My Kantele. When I learnt what they meant with the song my respect for them arised more.

Yup, I agree with you! Elegy was a great album, one of my favorites. For those unfamiliar with it, this was a concept album whose lyrics were based on traditional Finnish mythology and epic poetry. On this album, Amorphis combines scandinavian folk with 70s rock and modern metal and some middle-eastern melodies. They started out as a death metal band and evolved into flute/saxophone jazz-rock later on. I like them for their exotic and timeless nordic/oriental melodies and non-mundane lyrical themes. Ferit's right though, it's dark music, but has something transcendental that appeals to me. (Ferit, have you listened to their album after Elegy called Tuonela? I didn't like it as much, but the flute playing was awesome and the song "Greed"  seethes with power. By the way, a video from their latest album with the new vocalist is out. RealMedia file. Song reminds me a bit of H.I.M.)

Yep, Elegy was a great album. I didn't listen to Tuonela though. Scandinavian groups use flute suberp in their albums - as prog. rock heroes Anglagard or Anekdoten.

There was a concert from Testament here in Istanbul two days ago - another dark group with glowing soul!

The conspiracy [s] happens at the microcosmic level first as a part of the space time field of awareness we are immersed in. As thus it is by proxy more often than not. What this means is resonance with thoughtforms that are coming from the wrong place in a logoic sense.
Mankind is always at choice and always has many voices and thoughts projected into his mindspace that are not his own. This is one of the matters that has become a total facade in popular consciousness, the notion of extradimensional beings, angels, demons, whatever term you might apply....the churches talk about them but the people don't really believe they exist because they are beyond the 5 sense world that has become their god. People have been taught and programmed not to believe in what they cannot see in 3d terms. This is denial of the unseen realms. Denial is exactly what the denizens of the negative realms want because it props up their reality system.
Steiner spoke of several things that pertain, those being The Asuras who are primeval spirits of denial from the void and also on the topic Christ, Lucifer and Ahriman. Popular culture is afraid to confront these subjects head on. If the matter were even understood on fundamental levels, many things would come clear and many problems would be stopped cold because of awareness and understanding of the metaphysics of the situation on mankind.
There are some bona fide 3d conspiracies, but more often than not its a matter of alignment.
Because those forces are part of matter they are also part of mankind and permeate his being.
These are the forces of materialization, those that bind energy into matter.
The proton, neutron and electron have macrocosmic correspondences, its not all hocus pocus.
Its the way things have " been " operating here for some time, but all that is coming up for review by popular demand.

You have to know how to decode ANY message or peice of info before it can resonate.

Don't blame the music.

I smell thinly veiled social bitterness/jealousy.

Free your minds.

Tip:  Until you can fully figure out the trick to enjoying/"reasonating" with every genre of music....you are probably not ready for "the next level".

....obviously...the above isn't applicable if you don't like music.   :-)

Even... Britney Spears? Gasp! wink

I don't know, my musical "tastes" have changed dramatically over the years, but now it includes whatever sounds good to me, from trance, to hiphop to indie/emotional to reggae.  I just listen to what moves me with feeling.

Why would one need to expand to enjoy all types of music?  I know they may all be forms of creation; but maybe we have a choice of which creation resonates best with us?

You don't have to like anybody....not even Titney Spears...but understand why you don't like them.   Understand that is it YOUR problem if you don't like somebody.  Don't discredit their efforts as being worth anything less than a band or artist that you have deemed to be holy. (not saying YOU do that...just speaking generally)

You can understand and resonate with any human if you can understand their music.....   resonating with others helps us resinate ourselves.

I'm greedy like that.....I wanna be able to understand everybody's POV.   Never know when it may come in handy.

For me personally....some things naturally "reasonate" because I am used to it.   I am already grooved that way.

The things that DON'T naturally "reasonate"....I try to push myself to "reasonate".  I try to point out the bounce.

I'm to the point in where I gan "naturally" groove with most everything(in my awareness) now.   I'm ready for more....feed me!   wink

I don't feel like I have to do the "push myself" thing all the time....I am perfectly fine with regressing back to my natural "reasonations" when I'm feeling lazy(which is often) and I'm feeling fetal.

Basically....It's all good....either way.....as long as either way is all good.

Re: Positivity and love, stolen from knowlege

The point of this message was that from my experience those bands that truly have their minds open, their music is on the dark side.  When I listen to Britney spears I get the feeling that I get from watching TV:  "Don't worry about your problems, they will be taken care of for you by your police, your senators,  Just go out and party and don't worry."  Thats why it doesn't resonate with me.  After putting some thought into it I believe it may have something to do with the seeming impossibility to be complacent once you figure out what is really going on.  Which kind of negates my point that TPTB purposely only allowed enlightening music to be negative and dark.

I wonder if because the "popular" music was so "easy listening", that the only way to express a deeper meaning of humanity was to allow the message to come out some other way, which mostly would be "underground" music, or "music from below/dark music".  Two bands that come to mind are Dream Theater and Tool for example.  The thing is once "dark music" is understood, it doesn't sound dark in any way, but very enlightening and inspirational.  At the same time I do think that positive music can come out "light" also, like Bob Marley. Although complexity arises when someone can express their creativity through instruments, versus machine induced sounds with machine induced voices also (although some awesome music does arrive when someone uses machines e.g. trance, techno).

But I agree Capitan with what you said above, I think its a combination of both - the fact that once you figure out whats going on (Truth), more "complex" music is dark versus "popular" music which is simple but catchy, and the TPTB constructed the media in this fashion (ignorant light music), thus created a polar opposite (illusory dark music) in which some people were able to express the Truth.  Only to someone inside the "Matrix" the music to them seems dark and angry -  perfect system.

It makes me ponder that whenever TPTB attempt to further inprison humanity, that very action will create an opposite (freedom), thus all their attempts are futile.  Heh. smile

Radio music (and Much Music/MTV) plays music thats catchy (even I enjoy the occasional song) but in the end it's a distraction - but then again, if you can have fun with the music, then its "good" right?

Yes... I've been trying this myself. Listening to a wide range of music is a practice in tolerance. It's hard to listen to music you don't like or don't understand, and attempt to incoprorate that vibration into yourself. If you do this you'll find you'll have a lot more understanding of and patience with other people's ideas and vibrations. It also helps you appreciate the diversity of creation, especially the incredible diversity on just one planet.

Don't be confused.

Don't listen to what you THINK you should listen to.

Unabashedly listen to what moves you.

Even if that happens to be Celine Dion or Raffy, go for it.

Music is like food.

Good point google!  People intellectualize where emotions are best suited for the task.  This is the ego interfering in business where it distracts from the heart of spirit.  Whatever moves you towards your bliss is the connection to follow.
