Topic: US Steal $4.8 Trillion of UK Gold...

This is the first I have heard about it.  I certainly don't recall any disruption to the UK Banking system - but then I don't watch any news so maybe that explains it.

Has anyone else heard anything about this?  Or is it bunk?

I remember hearing on the radio on the 30th March that the BACS system had gone down and that many people wouldn't be paid until the following Monday.

Ah damn, yeah.  I remember that my wife actually didn't get paid on that day, and had to wait.  I just thought that it was down to her company...
