I think it's a strong possibility that the buildings were demolished. Sorry to hear about your friend, Joseph. Since day one I have felt something very odd about the whole thing, particulary the lack of jet-scrambling, which I always assumed was just DONE, no questions asked. My reading of the links mentioned here and other material in the year and more to follow only confirmed the sensibility of such ideas.
Then to see how many knowledgeable people say they are sure that these buildings were demolished only verifies the possibility that that the response of jets and other efforts to save lives was deliberately delayed in order to give them time to do this demolition.
This is the sick stuff that underlies these MCS controllers, and 911 was their last highly visible "piece de resistance", perhaps.
Right, Sedna, those jets are scrambled Automatically in situations like 911. The Only way this does not happen is when orders to delay are issued from the white out house.

You may recall, in US mainstream tv media, the _one_ man who says he saw an American Airlines flight streak by that morning. White man. Black outfit. Short brown hair. There may have been others who claim to have seen the same thing, but this guy is the _only_ person I've seen on television saying it was 'definitely' an American Airlines plane because he saw the 'AA' on the side of it.
Okay, obviously either this man is lying about what he saw as part of a 'cover up' or he really did see a plane with 'AA' on the side fly by. Regardless there was no 747 recovered whatsoever. Some documentaries like this one www.freedomunderground.org/memoryhole/pentagon121.swf show shots of a smaller [actual] American Airlines (less than half the size of 747) but is it really possible that one of these [real] (smaller) aircraft left so little debris?
For a time, I was actually of the conviction that the CIA (or whoever masterminded) in essence flew a fake aircraft into the pentagon. One that was dressed to appear as originating from American Airlines. Maybe the engine of this special craft is what is seen being secretly carted away in the above and so many other documenaries . . .
I found the speculations in this article to be quite interesting. Not only pertinent to 911 discussions, but relevant to just about any important issue. I remember Wendy Wallace saying "So you think you've got your counter-cultural hero? Forget it. They own him."
I got chills reading that quote.
The Wendy Wallace quote? It sure made me think about the people I've trusted to "take point" in my life.

Xenopope........I heard about that a few weeks back and gave it some thought...wanted to tell my Uncle in Houston to watch out...he is an engineer who works in the oil industry I think...anyhow..the first thing he told me after he move down there was how big a crook Dick Cheney is....its definitely a possibility....altho I was kind of thinking they achieve somewhat of a similar goal with the Russian Massacre....maybe theres more to come......Id be very careful If I were you tho....cuz the numerology on the dates is dead on....i was thinking october myself...but who knows....
scary stuff especially since if it did happen and I left town, there may not be a home for me to return to . . . then it would surely be illegal for me to be found anywhere outside a FEMA camp . . .
