Re: Kryptonite found in serbia

Finding out that the chemical composition of a material was an exact match to an invented formula for the fictitious kryptonite "was the coincidence of a lifetime," he added.

No kidding!  Amazing what imaginations pull out of that etheric record, huh.  Everything that ever was, is, or will be is out there already just waiting for someone's mind to reel it in.

Re: Kryptonite found in serbia

Would you say that cyberspace is the new collective frontier in this regard?  What you live here CAN be brought into the physical world in many subtle and manifest ways. In my case, the carefulcarpenter has taken shape out of the imagination of cyberspace and manifest through the kosmic vortex and into reality. I have transformed myself and my surrounding physical world.  What is thought can be made manifest.  The curiosity is how few people have caught on to this principle. People have always been resistent to change, but some are brought dragging their feet, kicking, and fighting into the new century.  Self-importance is such a spirit-killer!  A poetic life is much more humbling and simple, yet fulfilling and courageous.  Kryptonite to Superman is like poetry to the nuerotic ego-shadow.

I'll bet in a few years we'll see some super-powered aliens that will just happen to have a weakness for this stuff...

"The new mineral does not contain fluorine (which it does in the film) and is white rather than green but, in all other respects, the chemistry matches that for the rock containing kryptonite."

So not quite kryptonite... but close
