Re: movies
I just checked the 99c Only store in Camarillo and didn't see these anywhere. I'd love to get a copy of each for $0.99. Will have to hunt around a bit more.

The videos are on the office supplies isle. I did see a standing display that held some copies. Try, also, the front of the store and at the end caps because that's where I got them the first time.
Indeed, Netflix does have it. ![]()

Looks like the tagline for the new Transformers movie is "Their War. Our World."
Hey Shoog, here's another one for the spiral collection you started in The Last Mimzy thread.

Tagline: You are stronger than you realize. Wiser than you know. What was once your life is now your legend.
The Story
"The sands of time cannot be stopped. Years pass whether we will them or not... but we can remember. What has been lost may yet live on in memories. That which you will hear is imperfect and fragmented, yet treasure it, for without you it does not exist. I give you now a memory that has been forgotten, hidden in the dreamy haze that lies behind us..." - Brom the Storyteller
Before your grandfathers' fathers were born, and even before their fathers, the Dragon Riders were formed. To protect and guard was their mission, and for thousands of years they succeeded. Their prowess in battle was unmatched, for each had the strength of ten men. They were immortal unless blade or poison took them. For good only were their powers used, and under their tutelage tall cities and towers were built out of the living stone. Wealth flowed into the cities of Alagaesia, and men prospered.
Though no enemy could destroy them, they could not guard against themselves.
*snip*
Haven't seen this yet but another interesting tag line I thought - "DARK DAYS ARE COMING"

Downloaded this movie, "The Fountain". Better then I thought it would be, it continues to enter my mind and make me think...

I've wanted to see "The Fountain," but I keep forgetting about it. Where did you download it?
Yes! I wanted to see The Fountain, its on my netflix saved list. Good catch on another spiral lilmomma. I don't know why its so popular these days
I know that the movie "The Last Mimzy" has it's own thread but I really want to recommend this movie.
Time travel. A poisoned future sending messages back to the present to ask for help. Spirituality. The openness and powers of children. The potential of advanced technology. People are different levels of awareness literally seeing the world differently. Actually seeing the Matrix. Action at a distance. Telepathy. The potential meaningfulness of dreams, and the relationship between dreams and ordinary reality.
Also, I'd be interested in what people here have to say about the people in the movie taking off the "Gray alien suits" in the scene near the end.
I have heard it described as: "The most interesting movie in ages"

Here's a free site that has movies ready to watch.

That caught me by surprise, actually. For a time I thought that's what aliens were or could be...humans from the future. Only in my mind they/we looked that way because that's what our bodies had evolved or mutated into, depending on which way you want to look at it, due to pollution and climate change and whatnot. I figured they/we were coming back and gathering biological samples to fix whatever was wrong, hence the cattle mutilations and alien abductions. Kinda shocked me to see a version of what I had once considered my own personal pet theory up there on the silver screen.
By the way, didn't the old scientist get blasted by them in the very beginning? I wonder what that was about if he was desperately trying to save them all? Did I miss something?
I just viewed a movie called, "The Theory of Everything"; written, directed, and starred by David De Vos, alongside Victor Lundin. It was a nice movie about family, faith, and theoretical physics.
