Topic: Sending messages to yourself in the past

There have many times I've had an intuitive feeling about some future event, and found myself in the event later on.  It's always a shock to realize I'm LIVING what I used to be DAYDREAMING.  Whenever I find myself in those situations, I always wonder if that's the moment I was actually seeing in my mind's eye.  In other words, in those moments, maybe I'm transmitting the very feeling I picked up on in the past.

There have been a couple of times I've had the reverse happen, where I realize that one certain moment will be remembered fondly in the future, and so I bask in it.  Sure enough, those memories will have that special something.

It happens too often to think of as just tricks of the mind.  Do any of you do this, and what would be the best way to harness/ make the most of this ability?

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

Yeah Lono, I have had similar thoughts, it is just supposed to be a loop right?

...."what would be the best way to harness/ make the most of this ability?"/////..........if i understand you correctly then i believe your tinkering with something that is highly valuable.....especially in the 3d world/illusion.....this could be your ticket to just about any major breakthrough you have on your agenda......harness the energy your refering to while its fresh in your consciousness by practicing it until you master it if possible......i suggest you really study everything your/this feeling with an intensity as though your about to teach something important to a child......every little aspect is dynamically important and when it seems as though theres nothing else to work with then engage it from an etheric perspective.....i really hope you come about the answer your seeking which you will.....maybe play around with setting some intentions that would have a probability of manifesting within a couple days time on the minimum.....remember that after you captured the feeling in the past you still had to release it from the mind's grip at some point.....if i was talking to myself right now which i am then i would suggest taking it real slow....yet i would stay on it as in all over it.....;')....namaste

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

Those are some excellent ideas, lhs.  I guess that's what I really  need to do-- observe every aspect of it until I know what I'm doing.  I guess in a way that's what caused me to take notice of it recently, especially enough to post about it.

It sort of brings the concept of timelessness and alternate timelines into something I can almost comprehend in daily life.  Before, they were interesting theories, but now I'm getting to the point where I can almost see and feel them.  That in and of itself is highly valuable to me.

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

...i hear you....there really is a major overlapping of frequencies going on right now......so to nail down that particular example dynamically, conceptually, empathically, etc will provide a solid foundation to place some of the other 'stuff' that will present itself later....that feeling your working with now may end up playing the metaphoric role of an elevator that can take one up to as high a vibration as one can handle....or manifest you name it......its very powerful....stuff like this always triggers something in me that says that the person is ready for it.....if not your Source frequencies in this example would of protected you from attaining it for the sake of self sabatage and potential self destruction.....once you master it be carefull as to sharing it with another that may not be ready at the moment to take it on.....trust the gravitation process.....we instinctivley always want to act the savior yet we would be walking straight into a messy 3d physical plane adventure/experience.....if it was me teaching so to another, hypothetically and prematurley like, then i would be shut down by the energy of my own Source and the other's Source in the name of protecting the potential recipicant....wild stuff.....the higher vibrational aspects of life appear to be extremley loving yet intensley unforgiving upon reconizing one's free will still in tow upon arrival.......a justice i can gladly deal with......take it easy/namaste

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

lhs---I like your take on this.

First, to be aware and observant about these occurrences, in order to
learn how to use/benefit from them.
And second, to be careful about what wisdom you would like to impart
to someone who may not be ready to let go of their current belief.
One has to test the water first.

TP

The nice thing is that these kinds of "abilities" seem to have self-limiters put in place.  I could explain this all day to someone who wasn't in the right place to hear it, and it would have no impact.  Either they wouldn't listen, wouldn't believe, or wouldn't think it applied to them.

I knew this kind of thing could happen intellectually before, and caught shades and glimmers of it.... but what's really strange now is the experiencing of it.  That's something you just can't pass on to another.  But I hear you about the savior complex.  I've tried passing on "what I do" to other people before, and it just doesn't work.  They completely misunderstand or attempt to use it the wrong way.  I say 'attempt' because that limiter is in place, and nothing comes of it.

This all ties in with the PSI-Abilities thread!  It's like one of the puzzle pieces that are missing when it comes to intentionally developing abilities for their own sakes.

lono///....i understand, empathize and agree with everything you mentioned

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

Hi there!

I lurk regularly but hardly ever post. Work seems to take up all my energy and by the time I read everyone else's stuff I'm sooo sleepy, but that's a whole other issue:)

This thread has drawn me out, though. I've had this experience on a few occasions, and it's been huge for me...just unmistakable when it happens, so much different than mere daydreaming or thinking about yourself in the past, at least for me. It also seems hard to put into words, but here goes...

An example I can remember very clearly is one particularly miserable night about 12 years ago during a bleak, bleak period in my life. I'd basically hit the nadir point and was on my bed in the fetal position sobbing and just hatin' it. Mind you, there was nothing in the way of positive self talk on my internal tapeloop to speak of during that time, but out of nowhere came this pep talk of sorts. I got some clear guidance and perspective on my situation in a very loving form and a comforting vibration that in my mind I termed "older sisterly". I didn't really know what to think of it at the time. I felt like I was crazy anyway.

So flash forward to about this time last year. I'm scribbling away in my journal and start thinking about some of the stuff going on back then, how it affected me, how it would probably be good to deal with it now because surely I still have some gunk hanging around in my field from it, etc... I start to write a message of compassion and help to myself back then and then it hits me what I'm doing! I felt something shift  and re-integrate profoundly while I had that connection, and a radical cleansing took place. I can't even really do it justice with language. It's probably the only time I have ever truly forgiven myself or anyone and there's a reason forgiveness is such a biggie in our development. The weight that leaves you is immense. It's just so hard to muster it most of the time!

Maybe I got through to myself enough to keep me on this particular timeline and off some other one?

Great topic!

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

That's EXACTLY it!  Exactly!  I think I've figured out what's so different about this, and it's that I'm actually part of the two-way communication loop.  In the past, I assumed intuition was a one way street.  I assumed that whatever nudges I had to go in one direction or another were from some higher power, a mysterious field, or whatever.  Now I'm  realizing that they're actually coming from ME, and the better I get at sending messages, the more I'll receive "back then".

And like you, Coincidence, I've recognized that at times, I can go back and comfort myself-- and that my past self actually FEELS it. This opens up a whole new way of looking at things for me.  I'm actually getting a grasp on the concept of timelessness.  And you're right in saying there are no words to describe it because language is just so limited.

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

The Last Mimzy is a fun movie that plays with this idea.  The Scientist isn't sending messages to himself, but rather to members of humanity in the past....But it's still a similar idea.  I am certain this is possible.  Physics tells us that time is not linear and one-way, and my dreams, intuition, and clairvoyant premonitions all tell me that my consciousness can go back and forth.....I love this topic.

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

What is our higher self but ourself at all times and ways? I finally started to suspect that I was talking to me and not some detached part of myself hovering above me. I had an incident when I flashed back to a scene in my past it was so vivid it was real life and I told myself something. I saw my younger self turn their head in wonder. I do this all the time now as well I always was. It's quite a thing to realize you are simultaneous.

Re: Sending messages to yourself in the past

Yes, "time is not an immutable forward progression, but a factor in a space/time model of relativistic causality and determinism!"-Tom Servo, MST3K robot

I've had moments where I'm experiencing something from a distant dream, like a major Deva'Vu, and usually once I notice this I can make simple approximations of whats going to happen next, until this "feeling" fades and I'm back doing whatever it was, etc.

I was watching Ian Xel Lunghold's videos, Secrets of the Mayan Calendar (Google Video), he goes into what our future is going to be like, and yes TIME is a factor that we will move past, and may already be doing so (catching glimpses of ourselves already doing it in the future, notes to yourself etc.)

Our Consciousness is changing and evolving constantly, and at a greater speed then ever before! The next few years will be quite exciting, to say the least...
