Iran is going to start trading their oil in exchange for Euros instead of dollars. I remember reading an article once that Iraq planned on doing this, and then we ended up bombing them. Anyways, I think we are going to invade Iran soon and I think the dollar is going to collapse as foreign investors pull their money out of the dollar. You can read more about this at this link.

Also here is another article on this subject, but I think it is for manipulative purposes, because it says this is something to not worry about and that no countries will want to trade with Iran when they change their exchange to the Euro due to their bad stance in worldly affairs (their nuclear program.)

Anyways... I think something major is going to happen. I think our planet is about to undergo an explosion of energy. The vibration of the planet is going to increase drastically causing many earthquakes and lightening storms. This will be good. This is going to be something we will definitely feel. We are all pregnant right now with ascension and I think soon, many will be giving birth soon.

These are going to be hectic times. Always keep your cool. Don't let your emotions take control of you. Just try to relax and breathe deeply.

Thanks for posting.  I think that the large changes will eventually arrive.  I don't know when.  Maybe sooner.  Maybe later.

Do you all understand what this means? When Iran switches over to the Euro, any countries that depend on oil (umm all of them,) are going to stop stock piling as many dollars and instead start stock piling Euros so they can buy the oil from Iran. This declaration of Iran is pretty much an economic declaration of war.

This is one of the very large reasons why 2007 is going to be such a huge year. The dollar isn't going to be worth crap. It will take wheel barrows of it to buy food. Cars will be nearly worthless.

If you haven't started to prepare for this, I suggest you guys do. Gold and silver have always sky rocketed in value in past depressions so it will most likely this time around. It'd probably be a good idea to get camping gear also and probably barrels that can hold water.

Large changes will definitely arrive if this happens. Its a simple cause and effect relationship.

Well, the US is definitely invading Iran if this happens. I have no idea what all of the consequences of this will be, given that I do not have a complete understanding of the real power structure in the world.

This is necessary like Wilde has said for our development. This will either cause us to move into fear or move into love. The contrast will be turned up greatly. We will have to love one another greatly if we want to survive.

If any of you have any insight into this matter, I'd greatly appreciate listening to it.

Also, I suggest you all read this thread from the "Walking the Walk" section. It talks about Argentina's financial collapse and how life went on their during their depression. History can be very helpful when we learn from it.

Yes Kahn- we do understand what this means... I'll reiterate what I said (as transient) in the thread you linked, that is, gold has been outlawed in the past for use as currency, I don't recall specifically if this was in times of crisis, but nonetheless.

Let me paint ya a picture:

Let's say you have done the necessary preps, you have cash, or precious metal. You have food and water. You have the basics.

Now, I have to ask this very seriously, what type of survival is more important to you, physical, or spiritual?

Reason I ask is this- If you are a HAVE amongst thousands, or even tens of thousands of HAVE-NOTS, what do you think your chances are of getting thru one night?

At best you may get a few minutes of half-sleep, most likely you won't get a wink, because guarding your stash will become the #1 priority. The crime rate will go up in unimaginable proportions almost immediately. We all seem to have this vision of being in the woods somewhere, all our provisions made, and birdies chirping in the background. What good is gold or platinum when the system is burning down around you?

Kahn, also the reason you are maybe not getting the response you anticipated to this thread is that many people here buy into the YCYOR (you create your own reality) theory, I do myself...somewhat.

I prefer to confront possible outcomes realistically, while trying also not to give it too much focus, let's face it, we are living under a criminally insane political element. If any of us had the power to stop it, we would in a heartbeat.

But the Crazy Train rolls onward.

Just my belief, but I think if should it go down the way I expect (and NO I don't mean 'expect' to mean WANT) then there will be a major market crash, which will render ANY currency as valueless as our greenbacks have always been.

Now, many here are also quite aware that the Great Depression was contrived to be a means of shifting massive amounts of wealth that had accrued. Yep, TPTB again. So when viewed in that context, the seemingly counterproductive war-without-end has goals. Big ones.

In the Great D, the crash came first.

This time the crash will probably be a byproduct of a (sane) world economy not wanting to do business with an insane US policy.

This forum is partially about survival, but a different kind. Worst case scenario- nothing will be the same. And I have a feeling my portfolio and my wallet will be the furthest things from my mind.

And I pray it doesn't happen, but deep down I also know it will.

This IS about keeping the spirit strong, as you said.
Go with your gut, your heart, and your mind.

Without a doubt, the most important type of survival for me is spiritual.

The reason I wrote that post was because I felt like I SHOULD be worrying and SHOULD be preparing. "Whats worse, being paranoid or knowing you should be?" - from a movie called Primer.

I'm with you 100%. Having tons of gold and silver and all the basic necessities will only act as a magnetic for theft and crime. I guess that means all we can really rely on is the power of our ability to create reality, our knowledge, and our hearts.

I actually had a synchronicity regarding gold and silver. I recently purchased 5k worth of gold and silver. The gold and silver I bought is delivered as priority mail through USPS. They came to my door three days ago but I was asleep. Afterwards they should have went straight to the post office with it. Well the next day I went to the post office and it wasn't there. They couldn't find it. They still can't find it. What was also strange is right before I left to go the post office I was talking with one of my friends from Santa Cruz. The manager I spoke with at the post office looked identical to my friend I had just spoken with online except he was like 30-40 years older.

Yeah, about your concern- I totally understand Kahn, it would be heartless to not care about events and decisions, horrible deeds done in our names. The world is going to continue doing stupid things. We can intend- call it prayer, call it invoking, in any case that's the best we can do.

I also understand the guilt, being a so called "American"
knowing that people of the world will not always be able to make the distinction between what the American gov't does, and what the American people want.

The two have pretty much always been polar opposites. I am not sure there was EVER a time when 'we the people' have been accurately and attentively represented. In my lifetime, I will say never, without reservation.

This is the same as the guilt that has been generationally grafted onto the modern white man, wherein we are somehow to blame for things that happened 150+ years ago, regarding the enslavement of Africans. You and I would never have supported such a thing.

Thus it is with the latest insanity- we are not to blame- we signed no waiver 'allowing' our gov't to do these things with legal consent.

Take that false, implanted guilt, spit it out, and burn it.

That is my suggestion, for what it's worth, change is coming.... let it be in our favor.                             J
