Topic: Strange pitch black object on my bed.

It was around 2 AM and I was going to go to sleep. I turned off the TV and layed down. I felt something lightly get on my bed. I thought it was my cat but, it wasn't. It was a black object on the edge of my bed. I could make it out because some light could be seen from the door frame and, it would obstruct the light.  It was just there. I didn't really feel any bad or good vibes from it. Yet it could've been my eyes playing tricks on me. I did check it out at least three times. I would turn on the light by my bed. When I turned it off it would still be there. Weird stuff.

Witches draw a circle of protection around themselves when performing magic.
Perhaps entities are attracted to you, maybe there is something (only you know) you can do to keep it away, an imaginary barrier marked by a certain object for example.
Montalk used a noise-activated recorder, and he caught some eerie sounds. But in your case its a dark presence not beings working around/on you in your sleep.
Watch out for incubbi/sucubbi or alien abduction when in paradoxal sleep (with REM and muscle-paralysis).
Remember that you are master of your existence, you do not owe them attention or anything.
some beings are attracted if we live on a greed/service-to-self motivation basis, so keep an eye on the purity of your thought. Pure light/love thoughts in knowledge is unbearable for them. This pure love-knowledge one may irradiate must be distinguished from the state of numb bliss they can induce in you.
Telling no lies and be truthful keeps them away at night. The more we lie and do evil the more bad elementals will screw our bodies in the night in our sleep instead of light beings doing their normal reparation work on our body.
Be careful, but don't worry, even though it sounds contradictory!

I definitely believe the point you said Druid about negative entities being attracted to you from STS motivations. Like attracts like. But I've had that experience as well, where a dark shadow will descend...but I think that most of the time, it's just the unrestrained shadow side of yourself just "testing" you.
I think calling upon the truly benevolent entities will help you, Gman. But don't forget that it's you that sets the tone.

I've seen the Shadow People too, only for me they were accompanied by a deep, deep terror.  Also, mine didn't pass the bedroom doorway, like maybe they couldn't.  Google "Shadow People" and you'll see that lots of people have had experiences with them, but no one can agree on what they are.

I've had various similar experiences. For example, I once woke up, and there was a static field around me, and everything was mute, until it faded away. I then looked above my head and saw three small, cloud-like objects circling.

I think the bleed throughs between dimensions are always happening maybe more so now because of the energy changes or shift whatever you want to call it. I've had a shadow being try to jump into my body they couldn't get in so it turned into me I kid you not holding them like a child and comforting them. I never know what's going to happen when I go to sleep or get woken up by something. Whether its leaving my body or confronting someone while still in my body.

Tibetan story

A meditation student, while meditating in his room, believed he saw a spider descending in front of him. Each day the menacing creature returned, growing larger and larger each time. So frightened was the student, that he went to his teacher to report his dilemma. He said he planned to place a knife in his lap during meditation, so when the spider appeared he would kill it. The teacher advised him against this plan. Instead, he suggested, bring a piece of chalk to meditation, and when the spider appeared, mark an "X" on its belly. Then report back.
The student returned to his meditation. When the spider again appeared, he resisted the urge to attack it, and instead did just what the master suggested. When he later reported back to the master, the teacher told him to lift up his shirt and look at his own belly. There was the "X".

It's the first time that I've seen something like this. It was a weird experience. I haven't seen it since then.

I once saw an egyptian-like energetic being one time. It had the head of a sphinx and the body of a man. It was just standing their like a statue. I have no idea what it was. Maybe its my spirit guide or something...

I too have seen a shadow person once. It just saw it pass over my gaze. I have trained myself to not go into bad emotional states of fear or anything despite what happens. I sometimes wonder if I am blocking emotions or something, but then I realize if I went into those states that I'd probably get sucked into them and then those states would have an inertia to them, where I would naturally be drawn to them.
