Well, as long as you have a system -- that's the important bit.
Your new article on "the veils" is very good, by the way.

It's good because it takes the pressure off. Let the coin decide. Plus it usually feels like a higher aspect of myself is coming through, manipulating the coin. And the weird part is that so far it's always been accurate. If it tells me to quit something....or not quit.....or that it's good to do something or bad, time reveals it to be an accurate decision. There have been times where both Tom and I have done coin tosses to determine the same thing, and gotten the same results. Like I'll get three or four heads in a row...and so won't he. Then it turns out to be accurate. Who knows how it works, but for me it's a fun way to make decisions.

Cool, thanks.
I've since slightly tinkered the opening paragraph so it makes clearer points and connects some things together in a better way. Oh, and just added one more veil level which I'd completely forgotten about....recognizing energy exchange, and the parasitic feeders. Totally forgot about it until getting an email from somebody talking about energy vampires. He's in the middle of waking up you could say and stumbled across this concept, finding it to be surprising and interesting. Like, it was all news to him. So yeah, that reminded me of how people slowly discover that.
Anyway....movies....that's right..... ![]()
I'm sorry to keep butting in here, but this little conversation really got me thinking yesterday.
At first I have to admit I was a bit upset that you had mentioned movies and media being something we should steer away from Lyra-even in terms of dissecting them. After all I just started a movie thread and it is something that means a lot to me personally in my own awakening to be able to interpret mainstream media. At the same time I also stuggle to 'unplug' from it all and tune inward, leaving the 3 Dimensional stuff behind.
Watching movies mindlessly is quite different from picking them apart on a deeper level, and like I mentioned before-I still think there is a lot to be learned from them. Good as well as evil 4th Dimensional beings can operate through directors.
The article you wrote: "Veils of Awakening" also supports this. People who are still waking up can be further roused when synchronicities in media are pointed out to them. I thought about it a lot last night and I realized that its still worth it.
In Michael Tsarion's interview on RedIce he mentioned that technology and symbols are not all good or all bad. Its who's using it and to what ends. This can apply to the media as well. I don't think we should throw the baby out with the bathwater on this one.
Just finished my piece about Battlestar Galactica - and as we don't have a very active "TV" thread - I thought I would post a link here:

Oh Jeez. Is there anybody I DON'T upset around here?
Seriously.
Not upset with you, just disappointed that the topic was considered unimportant. ![]()

It is ultimately unimportant. To me. My personal opinion, mostly relating to whether or not to remove the section on my website.
lyra, keep the movie section up. For those just awakening ,like myself, it is important. I personally find Hollywood vile and have felt that way for years. Supposedly Merlin's Wand was only effective when fashioned from the wood of the Holly. Great breakdown of 'Eyes Wide Shut' btw. I miss Stanley. I believe he had our best interests at heart when he made that one.
ShineOn, I agree. My opinion is that Stanely 'switched teams' so to speak. They probably did him in for portraying the orgy scenes such as he did. Like the stuff that Dean Warwick and so many others were onto, some areas are just set as 'off limits' by the fatties.
Anyone see The Prestige? Very, very interesting movie filled with signs, signals and truths.
It contains the number 23 displayed obviously, Tesla (truth about ruthless Edison and his crew, and an invention that, I'm sure, was reality), and a whole bunch of yummie stuff about reality.
Not yet, but I plan to rent it.
About two weeks ago a few friends and I watched this movie. A little on the old side, made in 1980. I was very surprised as it was a decent movie.

Eddie Jessup: What dignifies the Yogic practices is that the belief system itself is not truly religious. There is no Buddhist God per se. It is the Self, the individual Mind, that contains immortality and ultimate truth.
Emily Jessup: What the hell is not religious about that? You've simply replaced God with the Original Self.
Eddie Jessup: Yes, but we've localized it. Now I know where the Self is. It's in our own minds. It's a form of human energy. Our atoms are six billion years old. We've got six billion years of memory in our minds.
Looks interesting NM, thx for the recommendation, I'm downloading now ![]()
Marcus, excellent discourse on Galactica.
I offered to send my extra copy of "V", the series and the final battle (consisting of 5 VHS tapes) to any member that wished to see them. They could, in turn, send them to the next NRer that wanted to use them and on and on.
Even better news, I went to the 99c Only Store last night and saw that they are selling them again. I asked and found out that they had had them back in a couple of times. They cost 99c for the series set and 99c for the Final Battle 3 pk series. I don't know if they have this particular chain of 99c stores in other states, but they are in southern California. I live in San Bernardino county and I do know they are out here so the other stores should have them too. I really enjoyed seeing the "V" series again as I hadn't seen it since they played originally. I had always looked in video stores, but could never find them. Of course, now they have net flix and such so they're probably for rent and I'm sure eBay sells the entire series, but not for $1.98.
