Topic: Lunar Eclipse
http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2007 … clipse.htm
This Saturday (March 3), there will be a total lunar eclipse as the moon passes through the earth's shadow. The eclipse will be visible from parts of all seven continents including the eastern half of North America, where it can be seen as the moon rises. Europe and Africa will have the best view, local weather permitting.
The time for moonrise, moonset and other data can be calculated for your latitude and longitude on the U.S. Naval Observatory's website. peak eclipse will be at 23:20:56 UT
Eclipses are supposed to be special. I was wondering if anyone had any metaphysical sort of heads up on this? Optimal timing to summon the great pumpkin or just another day? Isn't it close to the full moon too? Ritual stuff from TPTB? I just read about this so I was a little suprised. I guess the answer is probably no to those who weren't already keenly tuned in to the approaching eclipse.
The full Moon of March 3rd is also as eclipse promising much more interesting times ahead on top of all that is currently going on.
