Re: Lizard Pope

that guy is among the scariest people I've seen. He looks creepy in such a sinister way. Where's that picture of him in the red+white christmas-satan-claws-hat-that-is-really-something-else-if-you-are-a-catholic hat? Yikes.

edit-- found it

Re: Lizard Pope

I still say the Pope looks like the Grinch.  It could be makeup covering his green skin.  Maybe the Grinch is a lizardy, reppy, popeie type thing.  Dr. Suess was pretty weird. I don't know a great deal about him as his books were just too spooky to read to my daughters.

Klaus Kinski in Nosferatu comes to mind. Disturbing!

Re: Lizard Pope

Wow, now that's the kind of evil-scary that's out there for anyone to see.  Seems like they usually at least try to find someone who looks benevolent and kind.  They just phoned this one in.

He's just oozing ickiness, isnt he? Yuck

Johnny Ratz headed John Paul's committee to investigate pedophilia within the church worldwide. It must have been the compassion and kindness in his eyes which made him the ideal candidate.

Re: Lizard Pope

That last pic makes me feel extremely safe yet spiritual. He's just so handsome and warm. He's got my vote (joke). big_smile

Re: Lizard Pope

Wow, I've seen it before, but isn't it just amazing? I wonder if, perhaps, a certain filmaker had this lizardy- pope- man
in mind in choosing a) a physical type for the role and b) an actor good enough (which they certainly got) to pull it off without
being too obvious (to most people. but now it is too late because everyone knows)....hmmmm. Quite a synchronization goin'
on thea'. "He got the lizard goin' on. He's all about th' lizard!"

p.s. Sorry, lizards, you're much more charming and innocent looking, but lizardy folk "of power" can only hope to emulate your
powerful ways, and powerful displays. I fear that they end up looking rather wretched and sick in doing so, for some reason.

Re: Lizard Pope

Huh, nobody went for it yet!:o:lol:
