Re: Ayahuasca Visions

Last night I met a woman who told me about her ayahuasca experiences. It shed a new light on the mythical story of Medusa - she said the snake is a symbol for ayahuasca?

What she said happened during one of her experiences is that she felt the ayahuasca come up her spine and into her brain and when it did she felt a cleansing and _activation_ stimulation and that she saw this manifest as many small snakes emerging from her head!

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

What  happens within the HOI setting with respect to taking in Aya, and what can happen in a different set and setting are two very different affairs. This temple has created a protected space and there are protectors there as guides during the experience. Also, the brew is not strong compared to what I know. IN contrast, if the set and setting are not energetically the best, a person might be in for the most brutal experience of an entire lifetime which will defy anyone's imagination who has not been in such a space. The landscapes that unfold are so far beyond the mundane that language cannot describe them.
Utterly and brutally terrifying do not even begin to describe what kind of hyperspaces can be opened and what kind of attack one can come under. It is a fact that you can easily drop your body and not return. This is not likely unless you are unprotected and unprepared, or unless you have chosen that zone as your exit.
This is in some ways an effect of the time we are coming into.
I am still an Aya advocate if it speaks to you personally.
What I advise is not going into it half cocked.
There is a must see film called " Renegade " which would be good to watch and contemplate its deeper meanings.
I have some pages written by another wise soul about the subject of of these states.
I have posted links here before and can make them available again.

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

Funny,
I just got back from Heart of the Initiate in Brazil. I could only stay for two Ayahuasca ceremonies as I had to return home for a family emergency. I can honestly say that this experience with The Lady was stronger, more beautiful and more profound than I could have ever imagined. I am working on putting the incomprehensible into words, but when I'm done I'll share the experience if you are interested.
Until then it does seem that something very BIG, beautiful and perfect is not only coming, but it is happening right now. It involves a cycle in the universe, human DNA, and a wave of feminine-mother earth-green-healing energy.
Keep drinking in a safe environment. You may notice that the same Aya is becoming stronger. Guide your own journey with your intent. Ask questions, stay alert and focused, like a hunter.
By the way, as nearly always StarCat is very right. I have a feeling that Aya will soon become like the gold in Renegade. Be very careful what you drink, where and with whom you are drinking.

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

I'd love to hear your feedback when you get a chance to process it, ENT Doc.  I do plan to take a journey to Brazil for a ceremony, but that's the only setting in which I would take it.  I understand that it's too powerful to just take it willy-nilly. I'm especially interested in Heart of the Initiate, and I'd like to know how it compares to some of the other ones I've seen on the net.  Has anyone had experiences where they could compare them?

My new friend I met last Fri. was saying that the Aya performs as an activation in the brain allowing for spiritual insight and evolving. I think this may be what has allowed you to sense this beautiful transformation in our future.

I second the motion and am prospecting a journey of my own to Brazil.  I'm interested in more first hand experiences and also where/how to seek a professional shaman (?) for the experience.  thanks in advance.

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

I've had a similar feeling while on psylocibin mushrooms...it's said that DMT and whatever's in mushrooms is pretty similar, so I have a feeling of what Aya has described.
There was a feeling of complete bliss, of complete oneness with everything, to such an extent that I actually began having a mental connection with some benevolent power...it felt like a friend I knew for a long, long time. We began to laugh uncontrollably from some stupid little joke we had played on eachother in a past life, though I can't exactly remember just what it was. But as we were laughing, I turned around to make a face at my friend...but guess what? No one was there! Not even my physical friends were there...there was no one, and here I was sitting in an empty room for what must've been a half an hour talking with some imaterial being!
That tripped me out. I found my friends laughing in another room, and I told them what happened...they just looked at me and started laughing.
Laughing and humour is the most powerful medicine on the face of this planet, probably even the universe.
I've done mushrooms after that but with never that same effect. That was my first time doing it, and the other times have never reached that feeling...in fact afterwards, they just made my body feel weird and alien, with only "bulging-contracting" halucinations.
Despite my last uncomfortable experiences with mushrooms, I would definitely undergo an ayahuasca ceremony. Done in the right setting, it can be an awesome experience, one full of revelation and understanding about the nature of things and humanity, to put it simply. But nothing can truly describe the strengething that occurs within the initiate, the healing in the positive experiences, and the tempering of the sword in the "uncomfortable" experiences. Either way, one comes out of these experiences changed, and hopefully, in such a way that will help them discover their true "goal" in this life.

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

Ok, I have the time, money, and a convienient situation in Brazil, so I think I will try out one of these Ayahuasca visions.  Does anyone have any new insights or recommendations about a good place in Brazil to go to do this, or anything else.  Heart of the initiate was the only place I could find online in Brazil that does these Ayahuasca retreats in the time frame that I am looking to go.

I'm strapped in and prepared to blow away all my old paradigms

You might find some answers here:

I know there are several different places that people on this forum talk about.  Good luck!  Be sure and report back once you finish your journey!

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

I highly recommend Heart of the Initiate. I have been there several times. I can't say enough good things about them. They are somewhat expensive, but this is one of those cases where you get what you pay for. The shamans are great, the ayahuasca is strong, the food is excellent and healthy (on site chef), the massage is wonderful. Overall a very safe and luxurious location to drink ayahuasca.

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

ENT Doc, does Heart of the Initiate make accommodations for a non-aya-drinking spouse?  My hubby would want to come with me, but he doesn't want to partake.  I wouldn't want anyone to take it just to go with the flow.

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

Yes, I've seen people bring their entire non-aya-drinking families with them before. I don't know if there is a discount on the price or not. You may want to email them to ask.
My wife wanted to go with me next time just to hang out on the beach. The new location in Brazil I hear is beautiful, resort like.

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

Im working out the details on the trip right now.  I was set back a little when I found out that Heart of the Initiate is 2000 euros not 2000 $, a little bit of a difference.  Anyway I'll let you know how it goes, and thanks for the advice.

Re: Ayahuasca Visions

Anyone know of any good ayahuasceros that don't charge a king's ransom for a session?  I'd love to go, but I just can't justify spending $4700 plus airfare for my wife and I to go there when I could use that money to get my farm started (that's including the 10% couple discount).
