I've been lurking for a while, and now I'm ready to post my own thread. I have some things to discuss that I don't see dealt with very often. Things that to me seem pretty important.
Perhaps this is a strange topic for my first post, but what the hell. In my mind masturbation (porn) and forums are two hallmarks of the web, so I might as well bring it up here.
There is no doubt that there is a great deal of power in sexual energy. The passions and desires and conditioning associated with it drives so much of our day-to-day existence. It can guide what we seek, how we judge people (sexy, not sexy?), our priorities, and it especially affects our sexual relationships. Even before the advent of pornographic media sex has been a very confusing and important issue for humans... they say prostitution is the oldest profession, and it seems that a great deal of religious morality is a matter of organizing sexual energy.
Sexual energy might be considered the very essence of etheric energy within humans, the storage and conduction of vast amounts of 'chi'. There are reasons why priests are meant to be celibate (celibate doesn't just mean no sex - it can also mean no ejaculation) and there have always been esoteric sects that focused on harnessing and making use of sex energy. There is just so much to do about sex energy... Taoist sex practices, buddhist tantra, kundalini, etc.
When I was a young teenager and first discovered how to manually relieve myself I was immediately aware that I had lost something after masturbating too much. If I masturbated early in the morning, or too often throughout the week, I could feel the 'magic' of life just drain out. My romantic ideals and the energies in my body just sort of dispersed, gone. With the surging hormones of adolescence and my culture telling my masturbation is 'good', I of course kept on doing it. I tried to keep it cool, but more often than not would ruin my day or week by overdoing it.
As the internet got faster (and I moved into my own room) I started masturbating to pornography on the internet more and more. There are certainy a lot of psychological reprecussions to associating sex with porn, but I wont get into that here. As the years passed and I masturbated more because of neuroses and addiction, I began really struggling with porn, masturbation, and sexuality. My addiction to porn and masturbation was costing me a great deal of vital energy, and it ruined a few relationships. (I'm sure a lot of guys can relate to this... for some reason getting 'bored' with one's partner and seeking excitement in virtual land.) A debacherous masturbation session always puts my two lower chakras out of commision, somtimes for days. There were really important days full of opportunity and synchronistic opportunities that were totally squandered because I had lost my essence to...
the COMPUTER.
Throughout my struggle against this demon I came to see very clearly that masturbating to pornographic images, especially on the computer, was much worse than other kinds of masturbation. Obviously what one is thinking during orgasm directions the flow of energy. By focusing on the computer and the images inside of it I was literally pouring my most important energy into it. If entities can consume 'loosh' created by negative emotions, than I'm sure there are entities that can consume the valuable sexual energy expelled during orgasm. Skilled lovers can do it, and so can the computer matrix. Think of the millions of people wanking off in front of the computer every day, how much sexual energy is spent. It's astonishing. (BTW, the 'computer matrix' is something I'd like to discuss more).
Over years of constant struggle, I've finally gotten a pretty good handle on the porn thing. I rarely look at it, and when I do I don't climax. It still is better not to even look at it, because I notice that if I 'involve' my sexual energies with pornographic images I am mixing my energy with it, and if I don't ejaculate than that energy goes back into my system, which is very polluting. Ideally I would never engage with pornography, and I would have only the occasional well-intentioned orgasm.
If you can relate to this all, I have a technique men might try to purify their system of the fucked-up shit they've mixed into their sexual energy by using pornography. First of all, you must save your seed for some time, at least a week. When first experimenting with this method you may do whatever you want with your penis, as long as you don't ejaculate. As your sexual energy builds, try to be aware of how it sits in your second shakra, and circulates through your system. It helps to know about energy systems, but it's enough to know that sexualy energ can travel from your genitals down to your perenium (the 'chode', if you will) and then to your cocyx, and up your spine, into your crown, spilling down through your face and into your chest, back down to abdomen. It's okay if you don't really feel the route of this energy; when you do your 'exersize' and the end of the week, you will certainly feel it.
Once you have a good about of mojo built up, create a situation where you can do some 'holy masturbation.' Honestly, I think a running hot shower with some candlelight is ideal, so you can let the energy run down the drain back into the earth, including the sticky manifestion of it. Get yourself arroused, however you need to. If you can do so without thinking 'pornographic' thoughts, all the better. I think some kind of fantasy is okay, as long as it is imperverse. Try to have an image that won't make you feel guilty. For me the image of a beautiful earthy woman is perfect, because once arroused the next step is to change the image to that of the planet. Whatever shape or angle the image takes, just make sure it is of earth. I find myself naturally seeing the earth from near orbit, as if I were the moon. The idea is that your fantasy is to 'f*ck' or make love to the earth itself. Because you have been saving your seed you will find that you don't need to involve a human so much. Keeping your intention of sexual bond with the earth, put your attention on your body. Feel the sexual pleasure and recogize that you are having pleasure without the usual erotic fantasy. It is important to be able to interact sexually on a physical level, without attatching every sensation to an erotic fantasy. If you must attatch your sensations, attatch them to your image of the earth. As you continue try to cycle the energy throughout your body, like as I described above. You will probably feel the energy really surging, you wont have to 'imagine' it. Continue this and let the energy go throughout your entire body, not just the spine and chest, but into your limbs, fingers, toes, lips, and nose. Let it charge your entire aura. When you are ready to orgasm open your heart chakra wide and really intend your energy to go towards the earth. As you orgasm let energy gush from your heart as strongly as from your genitals.
I'll leave the rest of this to your own experience. Let me just say that this may be the best orgasm you've ever had, and you will feel very light and refreshed with a new outlook, like the afterglow of a good psychedelic experience. Congradulations, you have made love to the earth and helped her strengthen her grid and in exchange she has taken your impurities and blessed you with a very fulfilling sexual experience.
