Topic: Chinese Medicine...working!
Three and half years ago my daughter suffered a stoke. She went through the typical means of therapies available here in the US and had regained some of her capabilities. Through Stroke Magazine she found a woman who was a stroke survivor and facilitator to Traditional Chinese Medical therapies for stroke and other neuropathies. To make a long story short, my daughter is currently in Tianjin and has been there since September 1st. We have already seen some incredible strides being made. She couldn't raise her right arm above her sternum prior to going over, she now can touch the top of her head. She couldn't write with her right hand, she now can print with a marker. The limp or pitched gate she had has been minimized by at least half.
She goes through a battery of treatments six days a week there. From acupuncture, to acupressure, to massage, hydro therapy and dietary therapies as well. She says there have been times where shes had as many as three people woking on her and had as many as fourty acupuncture needles inserted. She is only 34 and most of the patients there are over 60. She has seen more remarkable improvements in others , so she claims. She is due back on Dec. 1st. So for $15k or $166.00 a day she has gotten what no doctor or facility here in the States couldn't even begin to provide. Hope, where there previously was none.
