Well, I never said any of your points were invalid, let alone due to sarcasm.

There's more I could say, but considering I keep getting "141'd" all day, like, four times so far now, that means a negative exchange has been in the works.  (141 is a number sighting for me that I get sometimes, and it's always indicative of negative interactions, discord, fighting and interference.)  So, "boo!" to the 141 manipulation, and I will cut this short as a result.  wink

Lyra, you're right, I did say I was "touchy about it", but I definitely was not trying to start a fight or put anyone else on the defensive, so I apologize if I contributed to this "141 moment" you are experiencing now..

You're right though, I am a bit amped up about it, I guess I am somewhat dissatisfied by what others have had to say on the issue, and I want to make my own points. Am I trying to prove something to myself? I'm not really sure. I really just wanted to discuss this further, I am not trying to argue about it. I think my last post had points on both sides, "believing" and "disbelieving" of the material. When you pointed out that I was being very defensive about it, I wanted to clarify that I was not intending to DEFEND it, I just want to UNDERSTAND it and this is how I'm trying to work it out. I have a lot of questions. Should I just not ask them? Or is my "tone of voice" wrong? Its hard when its all typing...

I guess I responded to clarify because this "If...then" statement does not really apply to me! I do not stand by Amitakh's work, I do not trust in it beyond what I can validate in my own experiences, and I am definitely not secure in it. I am confused by it. I am not upset by other people criticizing it, I am mainly upset by people dismissing it. I wish people would post constructive criticism rather than just say they get a bad vibe from the material, and they would rather believe that reality is different. Having a preference of what you'd rather believe seems ego-based to me. I want to know the Truth.

Yes, I too would rather choose to believe that we have the power to shape this reality into something better, to become conscious co-creators of reality, rather than victims in a trap.

I think that only someone who was totally, irrevocably angry and fed up with the world would take Amitakh's belief system as a GIVEN and apply it to their lives. In that case, all they could do was *sit and wait to be Rescued*, because that person would also believe that "Humans [are] Merely Sophisticated Programmed Robots".

I'd much rather that Amitakh be wrong and that Messages From Matthew be right. Then we just have to stay positive a couple more years until 2012, all the negativity in this world will be "brought into balance", all the trauma-based mind controlled slaves will be freed, and we can all get back into enjoying our gardens and playing with our children. Can't wait! big_smile

I have a highly personalized numbering system that's quite unlike anyone else's I know, and to me, my 141 is nearly identical to your 141. I don't want to hijack the thread into another numbers thread, but I just had to say it. My translation breaks down into *high-potential-uncontained-void-energy* and I usually act accordingly whenever I encounter it.

As for my thoughts on A.S. I think that some of what she's saying is very true, but a lot of the rest is confused babble/nonsense. I think this may be inadvertent, but consider that metaphor is best used in this situation regardless. Underneath it all, she has the right idea of "the other side" but it's clear that she has only a rudimentry sense of how to traverse it on a mass sense, and is unable to detect the plans made before the wheels start turning. All she sees is the road and what the wheels have to go over, all while not realizing that this particular vehicle is an airplane. The problem is that a lot of messages like this are highly personalized, and nearly impossible to translate to the masses anyways, but I'm glad she tried, as there is some interesting stuff there for those who are able to discern it.

That IS weird, GibbleTronic.  My number system is highly personalized as well, and I had no idea that anybody else out there would have the same "141" thing as me.  It's not even my number actually - it started as my brother's and transferred over to me the night we parted ways in life.  I have a write up on my website detailing number sightings in general, as well as my own personal experiences my various numbers, including photo evidence wink if you're interested:   http://www.in2worlds.net/numbersightings

I was on low sleep and not enough breakfast when I wrote all those responses the other day, so I apologize if the tone sounded confrontational... it wasn't my intention, but I think I was feeling a bit raw around the edges. It has felt exciting and satisfying to put these thoughts in writing, I appreciate this forum for that.

So, Messages From Matthew I was also introduced to by educate-yourself.org, they are the channelings of Suzanne Ward whose son Matthew died at a young age in the late 70s. She later made spiritual contact with him and began to receive messages from him and some other beings. I have not followed the material very closely, I know Matthew/Suzanne also connects with some other channelers as well... Blue Star the Pleiadian comes to mind... and a couple who channel God apparently. The messages deal with a lot of NWO issues and regularly discusses Illuminati plans. For a while I found the messages to really ring true, but I also find a lot of the questions that are asked to be repetitive and sometimes sort of inane... discussions of popular TV media and mainstream news items, although Matthew is often insightful into something deeper behind them.

I recall, before reading Amitahk, that a question was asked that now reminds me of her material. It was something to the effect of "I've read this material that asserts that this universe is false, and beings here have been trapped and seperated from the true creation and have been out of reach of God until very recently, and now things are being righted" something like that. I only recall Matthew responding that this was incorrect, that God/Creator had never lost touch with anyone in this universe and we aren't trapped. I hadn't read Amitakh at that point, so I didn't think much of it and I can't find it now when I search for it. tongue Matthew has an unwavering positivity in his messages that feels reassuring definitely. That is why I stated that in a sense I would prefer his reality-view to be at least similar to what we end up experiecing in the next few years, as opposed to terminal madness of the endmess (I meant to type endtimes but wrote endmess, so I think thats appropriate).

It has some of the aspects of channeling that have been rubbing me the wrong way, like looking forward for the space brothers to help us repair earth with their advanced technology, you create your own reality so stay positive. Matthew also asserts that the NESARA act/bill(?) can have an effect to dismantle the NWO. He also recommends the Findhorn Community which is a direct Blavatsky connection, I find her to have a very dark history around her that I've discerned so that sets off alarm bells in my mind. So anyway as usual it doesn't all sit totally right with me, but I've found a lot of gems of truth in the material too, and I suppose I would still recommend it. Tell me if you encounter the passage I'm thinking of... smile
