Morpheus: The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.
While it's definitely true that people are going to be at different levels of awakening, the thing you have to realize is that not all forums are created equal. NR isn't just another forum dealing with your average conspiracy/metaphysical topics where regular people wind up who are still "hopelessly dependent on the system" and who "will fight to protect it."
Message board forums can be divided into Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced in terms of the level of subject matter they cover, and it's safe to say that NR is Intermediate to Advanced. Again, yes, definitely, people are going to be at different awareness and awakening levels, but people who've read Montalk's articles and now want to meet others of like mind in his forum are going to be at a different level than your average message board forum. The mere fact that this is a forum that's attached to the Montalk site - a site that covers some heavy duty concepts, above and beyond your average conspiracy - is a filtering process in itself. It means the people who arrive here are usually not going to be people like the ones you keep describing in this thread, and your other thread topics.
The vibe I'm getting from your posts is that you're ranting about things to let off steam, for personal reasons; you're fed up and frustrated by what you're seeing of the every day people around you. And that's understandable. I think we all can relate to the mentality you speak of. Yet at the same time, it comes across as if you seem to feel that the people of NR are also as hopelessly asleep as the people you know in your life, and that they have a need for you to rant and rave at them and wake them up.
Proto had a good suggestion to peruse the forum first - see what sorts of topics are being discussed. Get a feel for what NR is all about, who the people are, and more importantly......where we are in terms of what we know. In general, are we a group still hopelessly asleep and struggling to become aware of even the most basic sheeple conspiracies, with a need to be ranted at and berated? Or are we a group that's got the basic awareness of all this, and now is looking to network with like-minded people and transcend things?
