Topic: WOW!!

WOW!   This is the most amazing beautiful photography I've ever seen.   Very unique!   I remember seeing this several years ago and then did a search on Google today to see if I could find it again....which I did.   I thought it would be great to pass it along because it's guaranteed to brighten your day.  If it doesn't, then it's too late for you!   tongue    Click on each thumbnail to enlarge.    WOW!  is all I can say!

You weren't kidding WOW! That's incredible.

Re: WOW!!

Really beautiful!  I especially loved the last pic.  Reminds me of a saying I saw in a book one time:  Nature is God's art, art is man's nature smile

Re: WOW!!

It's just absolutely amazing!!!  I showed the women I work with and they LOVED it.  My boss is actually going to buy one of the framed prints now for her condo.    I chose the image of the dew drops on the spider web to be my new wallpaper on my computer here at work.    I think I might use one of them as my new avatar for the forum too!  wink   I'm glad you and seeker and Audendove liked them though.   I knew they'd brighten up everybody's day!

Re: WOW!!

Don't mean to drift from this original topic -BUT there's a really good sauce called Yoshida's that one can buy at Costco.  It's really good with seafood-especially if you're kinda tired of soy sauce.  Good on Steak too.

Re: WOW!!

I emailed the link to my friend Max, as he's a photography buff and I thought he'd like Terrill's work. It turns out Max had met him a few weeks ago at the Bellevue (WA) Arts Festival and had promised to send Steve a map of some petroglyphs in SE Oregon. He'd forgotten about it until I sent him the link. Ain't Synchronicity wonderful?

Wow!   big_smile  big_smile   Synchroncity is a weird thing.    I had one myself regarding this photography link.  I'd recently been looking up images of Mt. Hood at sunrise to print out for myself (nostalgia for my time spent in Portland) and was doing that again yesterday.  Then later (the same day) I remembered to try to look up the dew drop photography.   That's how I found this site, by doing a search on Google using the phrase "Dew drop photography."

Well.............when I found this site and started reading the bio I saw that not only was Steve Terrell from Portland, OR, but.....one of the photographs just so happens to be the reflection of Mt. Hood in the dew drops.    Check it out, you'll see it down at the bottom left of the screen, called "Mt. Hood."    It's the only one like that.   All the others are reflections of flowers.

!!

Synchronicities abound with this link!    I think yours was better though wink  it was more eye opening, because sombody you know actually just recently met this photographer.  What are the odds???     Weird!

Re: WOW!!

Max is the only friend from high school I still communicate with. We have a kind of "mutual consciousness" connection. I think about him for some reason and suddenly the phone rings and there he is. And vice versa. Here at NR, that connection seems to be expanding.
My typing is getting weird, though. I spelled photography as 'photodraphy'. I gotta watch those typos.

Guess you guys are on the same wavelength....literally, the same frequency.   I've had a many a person in my life like that as well.  It's always a cool thing.  Oh, and forget your typos - I've noticed that my spelling and typos nowadays are pretty atrocious, especially when it comes words like to / too,  there / their, etc.   I'm like "Ms. spelling bee" and yet now as an adult I find that when I'm typing quickly I botch words, and will write there instead of their, etc. etc.   I don't know why that is, using the wrong words.  It actually bugs me.  Oh well.

But man alive has the dew drop photography thing caught on at my work!!   It's cool to see people -- females AND males -- of all different backgrounds walk into the reception office and take notice of my new dewdrop computer wallpaper and get affected by it.  I show them the weblink and they all ask me to send it to them so they can have the website too.   People really dig this.  It's amazing.   I remember back when I first saw this in 2000 it even affected my 20 year old hardened hoodlum delinquant brother.  wink   I showed him the dewdrop photography images from a magazine and he stared at them in fascination for the longest time, blown away by them, then cut them all out and taped them up on his bedroom wall next to CD inserts of his favorite rap groups and naked women pics.  big_smile big_smile   Crazy.   Who woulda thought.    So far my favorites are #'s   1, 3, 5, 15, 16, 18, 19, & 20
