Re: Av you got a problem with Pyramids?

I think the fact that the pyramid in Las Vegas emits energy from its top - albeit in this case because it is plugged in - is no accident.  The knew what they were doing.

Re: Av you got a problem with Pyramids?

So true, visavis!!  I'd completely forgotten about the Luxor pyramid!  I looked it up at Wikpedia:

The Luxor is among the most recognizable hotels on the strip because of its striking design. Designed by renowned hotel architect Veldon Simpson, the main portion of the hotel is a 350-foot-high (106 meters), 30-story pyramid of black glass (in comparison, the Great Pyramid of Giza tops out at 450 ft, or 137 m). The hotel is marked by a large obelisk with the name of the property in lighted letters, while the porte-cochere travels underneath a massive recreation of the Great Sphinx of Giza.

The tip of the pyramid contains a fixed-position spotlight that points directly upward – it is the brightest beam in the world, and is visible from anywhere in the Las Vegas valley at night, and can be seen at flight level from above Los Angeles, California, over 275 miles (440 km) away. In the spring, the bright light attracts huge numbers of moths into the light beam, creating a phenomenon that has been likened to snow. The beam is currently powered by 39 Xenon lamps operating at 7 kilowatts each at an hourly operating cost of $53 (lamps, repairs, and electricity costs). The beam's output is rated at 41.5 gigacandela. Ironically, because the desert air is so clean and dry there is little to deflect the light, the beam's true brightness is lost to all observers except for unfortunate airline pilots flying overhead.

That would be a really neat place to see too! (now all I've got to do is win the Lottery! hehe)

Also, just remembered the Louvre's Pyramid, too.

...and La Pyramide Inversée (The Inverted Pyramid).

There's no light coming through the top, like the Luxor, but the redesigning of the Louvre has been fairly controversial.

Honestely I was only slightly impressed with the Luxor. It's just another hotel/casino like all the others on the strip - a hotel sitting over a labyrinthine casino floor. When you go inside to the casino floor and look up there are balconies on all sides forming the inner pyramid. So the middle of the pyramid is actually hollow. But besides the view from the front, that was the only thing I was really even slightly impressed with.

I am as is Void.

You hijacked it on National Pirates Day, so worry not!
But you actually didn't. I've been enjoying the direction it's going in.

I wonder if somewhere in the Luxor, if theres actually a King's Chamber and Queen's Chamber. Wonder if the Masons helped design the place and added all sorts of secret rooms...

Thanks for the links, SiriArc.  Great info!  Kinda thought much about the pyramids had already been covered in previous threads... Thanks for linking them for easy access! smile

That pyramid/pendulum device you've got set up next to your bed looks incredible!

Re: Av you got a problem with Pyramids?

Ok, I printed out one of these pyramids and placed it underneath my chair, so that it went straight into my root chakra. VERY interesting! I've been doing quite a bit of energy work and meditation so I have to admit that I noticed almost instantaneous results. After 5 minutes it was radiating all the way up my spine and into my third eye. I was actually seeing white light from the corner of my eyes and my whole body was abuz, tingling.
Now, I checked some of the other links and aparently there are big pyramids you can sit in and meditate in and pyramid hats. Not only am I skeptical of them but I hear that they are actually harmful.
The 'point' (pun intended.) I am trying to make is that if you sit in or wear a pyramid on your head, won't the focus point channel the energy OUT of you, drainining you? Afterall, the base collects and the point focuses right?
  Just a thought.

Grey_Cat,
I found an interesting webpage with a pyramid experiment on it, plus some neat aura photographs.

Re: Av you got a problem with Pyramids?

I think that's the one Grey_Cat was referring to in his post, JP.  Grey_Cat does bring up a good point about it too.

I've got no immediate answer, and am now wondering the same thing myself. hmm

Re: Av you got a problem with Pyramids?

Pink,
When you put the pyramid on your head is does not drain you.    Energy does come out of the top point of the pyramid, but you can also be energized while inside it.   In fact, people that meditate inside copper pyramids notice how their minds quiet down more.   That's seems to be the most obvious sensation, which is turn enhances any meditations.   The quiet mind-state is probably brought on by the increased higher vibrational energy inside the pyramid.

I would not think a pyramid on the head would be draining, but very stimulating.   In fact it would probably stimulate your higher chakras to such an extent as to slightly enhance any psychic abilities.    I would not doubt telepathy is much easier with one of these on your head, but much experimentation is needed first.   Shame more folks have not worked with this, probably because of the "giggle" factor.

PH

P.S,
In one of Robert Monroe's books he states his first out-of-body experiences were inside a copper pyramid (without him realizing it at the time, mostly because it was the pyramid-shaped copper  roof of his house).   So even OBE's are easier inside a pyramid, which would not be possible if it was draining your energy.

Re: Av you got a problem with Pyramids?

Thanks for the info, PH smile  It makes sense, and I'd imagine that being inside the pyramid itself would be more 'complete', rather than just the hat, which would focus more on the crown chakra.  And I can definitely understand the giggle factor with the hat.  I guess one just has to experience it to fully understand how it actually feels.

Same here, and the only place I recall seeing a decent explanation of pyramids is the Ra Material. Here's a compiled excerpt that gives the general idea of what they said about it:

Ra Material wrote:

Questioner: Is there currently any use for the pyramid shape at all that is
beneficial?

Ra: I am Ra. This is in the affirmative if carefully used.

[...]We take this opportunity to pursue our honor/duty, as some of those
creating the pyramid shape, to note that it is in no way necessary to use this
shape in order to achieve healings, for seniority of vibration has caused the
vibratory complexes of mind/ body/spirit complexes to be healed to be less
vulnerable to the trauma of the interrupted armoring.

Furthermore, as we have said, the powerful effect of the pyramid, with its
mandatory disruption of the armoring, if used without the crystallized
being, used with the wrong intention, or in the wrong configuration, can
result in further distortions of entities which are perhaps the equal of some
of your chemicals which cause disruptions in the energy fields in like
manner.

The pyramid may be used for the improvement of the meditative state as
long as the shape is such that the entity is in Queen’s Chamber position or
entities are in balanced configuration about this central point.

The small pyramid shape, placed beneath a portion of the body complex
may energize this body complex. This should be done for brief periods only,
not to exceed 30 of your minutes.

The use of the pyramid to balance planetary energies still functions to a
slight extent, but due to earth changes, the pyramids are no longer aligned
properly for this work.

Questioner: If a pyramid shape were placed below an entity, how would
this be done? Would it be placed beneath the bed? I’m not quite sure about
how to energize the entity by “placing it below."  Could you tell me how to
do that?

Ra: I am Ra. Your assumption is correct. If the shape is of appropriate size it
may be placed directly beneath the cushion of the head or the pallet upon
which the body complex rests.

We again caution that the third spiral of upward lining light, that which is
emitted from the apex of this shape, is most deleterious to an entity in
overdose and should not be used over-long.

Questioner: Then the lines of spiraling light energy–do they originate
from a position towards the center of the Earth and radiate outward from
that point?

Ra: I am Ra. The pyramid shape is a collector which draws the in-streaming
energy from what you would term, the bottom or base, and allows this
energy to spiral upward in a line with the apex of this shape. This is also
true if a pyramid shape is upended. The energy is not Earth energy, as we
understand your question, but is light energy which is omni-present.

Questioner: Why is the spiraling light focused by something as open and
simple as four wooden rods joined at an apex angle?

Ra: I am Ra. If you pictured light in the metaphysical sense, as water, and
the pyramid shape as a funnel, this concept might become self-evident.

If placement within the pyramid is important, then putting your head in one might create beneficial effects in one part of your brain while non-beneficial in the other due to the complex energy interactions within that have different effects at different spots. Maybe that's why the real pyramids were so large, to allow one room at a precise point to serve a precise function.

The Ra source says a beam comes out the top, or more accurately a "third spiral of upward lining light" (other two spirals are inside the pyramid) that can be used to "shock" parts of your subtle body if placed beneath you for a limited time. They specified the geometry of the pyramid and a while ago I made some cut-out patterns you can print and fold. Ra mention the energy working to de-armor stuck spots in a person's subtle body, and that was very similar in terminology and idea to Wilhelm Reich's orgone therapy, for what it's worth.

The pyramid does appear to shoot a beam out the top. There's a pic on Keelynet of a pyramid charged with high voltage, photo using long exposure:

If you'll recall, Kirlian photography does something similar -- pumps high frequency electricity through your hands and onto photographic film on the theory that electric field lines follow channels in space carved out by your aura, so the resulting image somewhat represents your aura. Interesting stuff...

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: Av you got a problem with Pyramids?

Very interesting information, montalk!  Thank you!  Ra says to place the pyramid under your body, which I would think is logical.  Also, I like the comparison of energy and pyramid likened to water and a funnel.  That makes sense!  I didn't know that the energy is omnipresent... I'd thought it was 'earth energy'.  Thanks for the cut-outs, too! smile
