Topic: Deja Vu From the Future?

I just experienced one of the strangest deja vu episodes, and I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences?

I was at my kitchen table, organizing some stuff, and I got up and turned around to walk through the kitchen and into the next room.  As I turned from the table and glanced at the kitchen, in particular, the appliances that are now on the counter, I had an odd deja vu sensation.  I thought, "huh.. that was a mild one" and almost dismissed it off hand when I realized that the feeling wasn't one of "I've seen this before", it was as though I was looking back at my kitchen from the future (not far off, either, from the feeling) and remembering the arrangement and things laying around very fondly!  It was just as if I were sighing and thinking "I used to love that coffee pot... oh!..my old toaster!"

It was such a momentary and subtle sensation that I almost didn't notice it.  But deja vu's happen periodically with me, and I always like to challenge my mind in trying to figure out just "where" did the memory come from... was it a dream? or a passing thought that flashed in my mind?... how long ago did it feel like?, etc.  That's what stopped me in my tracks (literally) about this time... It wasn't from the past, but from the future.  And I found it kind of odd that it was just something as mundane and everyday as looking at my kitchen... nothing spectacular or profound there.  Maybe a warning of some sort?

Has anyone else had something like that happen too?  Deja vu from the future?

Re: Deja Vu From the Future?

Hi Pinky,
Yesterday, Sept. 5th, I had some odd number sightings.   I saw the 11:11 in the morning then the 12:12 in the afternoon, while at home, then another 11:11 somewhere else.    All those sightings made me stop and think what's up?

I couldn't put my finger on it, but I did feel as if some type of shift took place.   I would think it was a good one, judging from all the number sightings.    Perhaps you sensed it as a deja vu?

P.S.
And of course, it's a full moon, that probably plays into it too.

Hiya JP!!

Yeah, I've been having lots and lots of number sightings lately, too!!  (matter of fact, just as I went to respond to your post, I looked at the clock, and it's 2:22 am!)  Good point about the full moon too... I heard that it's the closest to the earth that it's going to be all year right now, making it appear 14% larger than normal when it's rising or setting.  Also, it's a "harvest moon" with a red/orange hue to it.  Wasn't thinking about any of that tonight, though... but that's usually when that "weird" stuff happens, isn't it?....when you're not thinking about it!

SiriArc,

What gorgeous flowers!!  What kind are they?  I don't know why, but looking at those pretty flowers makes me feel happy and peaceful inside. smile  Thanks for posting that picture, and reminding me about our perception of events!

That's so true!   It's like you have to be in a sort of dream-like or light alpha brain wave state, to have these things happen.   Your first post gave me the faintest memory of some kind of deja vu that also happened to me, but it's so distant (even though it happened just yesterday) that I can't recall it, but can sort of feel it.      Hmm... it does make me wonder what sort of shift there was, when you had your first deja vu.   It's amazing how smooth these fit into our normal everyday experience.    Let me know if you have anymore insights!

Strange shifts occurring, indeed.  And it seems that whatever is happening, it's having completely polar opposite effects on people.  (some people are "losing it", while others are enjoying a peaceful, "calm period")

Actually, last night/this morning, I had a fantastic dream.  I'm not sure how the "future deja vu" played into that, besides maybe giving me an etheric sling-shot effect.  I dreamed that I was on a sort of adventure hunt for information.  I was with my brother (but I don't really think it was my actual brother), and we were searching for clues to our geneology.  It was so much fun, and there was a pervasive feeling of child-like enthusiasm and a sense of fearless uninhibited gregariousness.  In reality, my brother and I know very little about our family history beyond our grandparents (because of early deaths, very small families, and the loss of contact and paperwork due to the craziness of WWII).  Anyhow, back to the dream... We wound up swimming through some sort of small lake, riding the waves to a small dock with a few abandoned stores of odd sorts (one was an old arcade, one was a bar, one was a clothing store, etc).  In one of these buildings, we met two "librarians".  They were actually more like record keepers of sorts.  They had some kind of computer and many books all around.  I think they were running some tests on our DNA to trace down our genetic history.  One of them got very excited and called me over and began showing me some of his books.  We had found 4 or 5 main groups of early humans that matched my DNA and that they could show me in their records, but one group in particular was very exciting to the librarians.  They showed me their records on an ancient group of people, and then they showed me the "match" they found in my DNA print with that of these ancient peoples.  The picture in the book showed gorgeous mountains and lakes, filled with wildlife and vegitation that I'd never seen before, and the people looked somewhat dark skinned and a little "Indian" to me.  The name of their country was very long and had some strange letters, but I somehow knew how to read it and understood who these people were.  The librarians told me that I was very fortunate to have this lineage and should feel proud because there were only a few left that descended from that "country".  I got very excited and called my brother over and began babbling very fast to try and fill him in, and when I told him the name of the country, he said, "I've never heard of that before!  Where the hell is it, even?!"  I told him, "Oh, sure you know it!... That was what it was called loooong ago, but now-a-days we call it Patagonia."  He got the wide-eyed look of recognition and excitement, and we were about to find out more about our other DNA"matches".... when I woke up! lol!

Okay... and now for the fun part.... After waking up, and all day today, I've just felt sooooo utterly content and peaceful with the world... like someone gave me some kind of "perfect pill", and I'm hyper-aware of peoples' states of being today (physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually... just energetically, in general).

I couldn't wait to look up Patagonia on-line... it's one of those words that I know I've heard before, but I had no idea if it was an actual place.  It IS!!... It's basically the southern part of South America (portions of Argentina and Chile).  What's so exciting about that to me is that one of my great grandmothers was from Argentina, but we have no information (or confirmation, for that matter) from which part.  I hope I can delve back into that (or a similar) dream soon, because I'd love to know more! big_smile

News from Unknowncountry.com

In it's September 30 issue, the New Scientist reports on an experiment that will confirm whether or not actions in the future can affect the past.

And leave it to Anne Strieber to have created this provocative conversation between Entangled Minds author Dean Radin and time travel researcher Starfire Tor before the article was even published!

Listen as they discuss the way that the future may be able to affect its past, and therefore that we may be experiencing penetrations into our reality from our own future right now.

Dreamland: Bill Hamilton's Time Travel Now

Bill Hamilton is one of those researchers who is willing to look with an open mind at evidence that others dismiss.

That's why he's on the cutting edge of time travel research, and may just have identified instances where we can see the traces of future intervention in their past--our present.

Well, that’s where the work of Radin and Bierman come in. They have performed experiments in which it appears that the brain is reacting to stimuli before it is experienced.

Stuart Hameroff notes that quantum information can indeed run backwards, or be time indeterminate, citing the Aharonov formulation which suggests that each quantum state reduction has a dual vector, both forward and backwards in time.

What does this all mean? As Wolf notes, ‘we need to look toward altering our concept of time in some manner, not that this is an easy thing to do. Perhaps we should begin with the idea that a single event in time is really as meaningless as a single event in space or a single velocity. Meaningful relation arises as a correspondence, a relationship with some reference object.’

Re: Deja Vu From the Future?

Once when I'd made a huge change in my life, I was sitting on my new couch in my new apartment living room, when I had the sudden feeling of watching myself, but from a future vantage point.  I had the sensation of looking back at that time and remember it as special.  I thought to myself at that point, "I'm sure I'll look back at this very moment with fondness."  So I made sure I recorded it correctly.  Sure enough, years later, I can seat myself firmly in that moment and remember it fondly.

So did I sense myself from the future, and it told me how much I was going to remember this, or did I ensure I would remember it by thinking of myself in the future--- or both?
