Hi, I'm new. Just had a bizarre experience on and expulsion from the SOTT Forum [ http://signs-of-the-times.org/signs/for … hp?id=2961 ] and in a peculiar email to me Arkadeusz Jadczyk recommended this board as apparently nobody here will "probably notice" that I "have problems with THINKING."
Looking at the SOTT threat, it strikes me that at least one of myself and SOTT/LKJ must be entirely up themselves. I'd be grateful for any assessments.
Of course they would say that about NR. Three years later they still love to get in digs wherever they can, and they're hoping people like you will come over here, let us know what they said, so we can be all up and arms and upset and offended, then, there will be a war of words where everybody posts their negative experiences with Laura and Ark, or the SOTT forum in general, and we all bitch and kvetch and wallow in bitter grudge holding. 
So that's why people here at NR have hopefully learned to see through it all by this point in the game, myself included, and opt instead to wish them well and move on with life.

Others I have known have had difficult interactions with SOTT, to the extent that they are of the mind that somewhere along the way Ark was a corrupting influence, Laura became of the mind that the C's are literally her and her alone in the future (therefore corrupting the channel), or some other noncorporeal entity is what is being channeled now.
Lyra gives the best advice, let it go, wish them well and move on.
The longtime members of NR have seen this thing played into the ground for three years now. I was hoping that nobody would even give this subject the time of day, let alone get in opinions about Laura, Ark, SOTT, and what have you, because it just gives power to a played out situation. Newbies to NR unfortunately can't resist because it's new to them, despite being played out and energetically tiresome to others. 
oh well. Let's not play into it, mmmkay?? ! I don't mean to sound controlling either, it's just that I've seen where this topic goes....nowhere, fast. It doesn't do anybody any good.
I certainly don't want to flame any fires, or prolong a useless discussion, but I was somewhat gratified that another person had difficulty on the SOTT forum. I had communicated something to one of the staff there in good faith, to see if they had heard of experiences similar to my own. They would not tell me anything without my disclosing the name of the person with whom I had these experiences. To me that was personal and irrelevant as the issue was the EXPERIENCE and not the source of the experience. I found it so curious that they would insist on having a name attached - in fact, it made me quite suspicious of their motives.

So if it's corraboration you're looking for, then those threads should do it. There's probably more - you just have to do a search with the search function at the top of the screen. It's just that as a long time member who's watched this topic play itself out over and over for three years, I can tell you that NR just doesn't need another thread about them. People periodically show up here though wanting to dredge the topic up all over again. It seems it will never, ever die. "Stuff" will keep trying though, as long as there are people who will play into it.
Seriously... check out those other threads which are more than enough to satisfy anyone's lust for gossip on this tired subject. If you want to discuss Gurdjieff's mediums as a subject in itself, then start a new thread about just that. Enough on this thread.
Thanks for the links. I did try searching the forum before posting but can't have used the right phrases. I can see this has indeed been covered before.
I entered the SOTT forum with the express intent of calibrating them. I refrained from googling around researching them first because I wanted to reserve judgement.
For what its worth, my assessment is that SOTT/LKJ are a bunch of rude, lieing, clueless, shysters.
The fact that you terminated my thread here before I had a chance to respond to the responces tells me I don't want to be here either, but thats just a question of style. Thanks everybody. And good luck with your paths.
