Topic: I am destined for death...

My life dilemma is very complex. Like most of you here I believe in the end time prophecies. Whether it be anti-christ to world government to illuminati to earthquakes to nostradamus you name it, i have done the reading for most subjects related to end times. What worries me the most is the earth changes prophecies. If true the west and east coast of the USA are history due to flooding. The west coast will sink due to the giant san andres fault earthquake which scientists say could happen any minute now and is long overdue. New York is going underwater along with parts of florida and georgia. All of this is supposed to happen before 2012 or during. If you believe Nostradamus it should happen next year or in 08 (l.a earthquake and new york)

You would think that i would be living in a safe place with all his knowledge of the end times, but instead im too close for comfort to the ocean. Im "indonesia sunami" type close to the ocean (which means i have no way out as im too close to the ocean to react to any disaster). Not my fault, i live with my family and can't leave them since they need my support or else they couldn't afford the rent. Even if i wanted to leave i can't cause i can't afford it and i have noone and nowhere to go.

So now im is stuck in a kobashimaru (star trek 2) scenario that i can't excape from.  I can't leave my family since they need me (single mother). It would be different if i had my college degree but i still ain't finished so i have no money and no degree.  Even if i left it would break my mother's heart and my brothers that look up to their older brother.

So while I feel blessed to have all this knowledge of what is truly going on in the world (illuminati, nwo etc), to what is coming (earth changes), i am cursed to die by something I have knowledge of and have known and warned people for a long time.  It would be different if i were alone but since i have a family that needs me i can't just say 'bye im moving to utah."

I have prayed so many times to keep me away from this soon to be disaster zone but to no availe.  I have always had a fear of earthquakes and tsunamis.  I have prayed for better luck in another state away from the ocean and earthquakes but nothing.  Now im in such a dangerous spot if you hear on the news "the big one struck the west coast' you know im dead.  If 'the big one' in the west coast doesn't happen in at least 3 years, enough for me to finish my degree and get the hell outta here that would be my salvation.  I doubt it as recent news stories point to it happening any time now.

Maybe im going a little crazy over this and should stop worrying, maybe nothing will happen and the west coast will be intact for hundreds of years.  But seeing the news 2-3 months ago about the san andreas fault ready to burst it has me very worried.

Re: I am destined for death...

If it makes you feel any better............

I'm one of the few who no longer pays attention to "end times prophesies" and no longer cares....

Earth changes may not happen the way we've been programmed to believe....

Many things were "supposed" to have happened by this point, 2006, but haven't.... (Y2K, the great planetary alignment of May 2000, nuclear war, etc.)

But even if something does still happen, be it cometary impacts, global warming, pole flips, and so on....know that we're all going to die anyway.  Nobody lives forever.   You could die tomorrow.  Next week.  Next month.  What does it matter?  All you ever have is today.   But our society doesn't like to think about death, is in denial about it, and does everything in its power to try to live forever and stave it off for as long as possible while simultaneously fretting about it.  Usually at the expense of living.  We put things off, and put them off, always believing we have "time" to do it in the future....I'll get around to that.....later.   I have time.  "Within the next five years I'd like to...."   "I'm saving for my retirement....."  "In ten years I see myself...."  Mindful folly.   We could die tomorrow in a nasty car accident on the way to work, so never believe that you have a long life ahead of you with all the time in the world.  I know, I've been there.   The "nasty car accident on the way to work" is a real life example from back in January of this year.  One of many.  Intervention "reworked" that one, as it had the other incidents over the years, and I made it to work in one piece.   So all we truly have is today.  One of the big points with the Toltecs is that "Death is stalking you."  Death is always nipping at your heels, so recognize that and live your life to the fullest.......today.

You're right, many events and prophecies that were "supposed" to happen have not happened, but the san andres fault is not just a prophecy.  It is long overdue and ready to burst, not just the psychics but scientists talking here.  Every earth changes map we have the west coast gone.  There are just so many sources to chose from and so many sources that coincide.

But even if something does still happen, be it cometary impacts, pole flips, and so on....know that we're all going to die anyway.  Nobody lives forever.   You could die tomorrow.  Next week.  Next month.  What does it matter?  All you ever have is today.   But our society doesn't like to think about death, is in denial about it, and does everything in its power to try to live forever and stave it off for as long as possible.  Usually at the expense of living.

It is not that I want to live forever, is just that I walk outside and I can see the huge ocean less than a block ready to swallow me whole.  Even if there is no earthquake if there was ever a tsunami i wouldn't have time or be able to escape (I can't even swim).  I am really that close but there is nothing I can do.  If you lived by a volcano you believed was going to erupt wouldn't you want to move out? of course you would.  I want to move out but I can't.

Re: I am destined for death...

On a ps sidenote:

I've come to realize that when we fret about death and get anxious thinking about it it's because on a deep level we recognize or feel that we're "not done yet."  And that's usually because we haven't truly lived to our full capacity and done all that we could do in our time so far.   We have unfinished business.   Things we feel we still needed to do, loose ends that should have been tied up, rifts that should have been mended and resolved, things that should have been said, trips that should have been taken and sites that should have been seen.  Accomplishments - possibly incarnational goals - that we envisioned for ourselves when we were younger that we still have yet to do.  That's what causes anxiety about death.  Unfinished business.  If we've done all we could do and wrung out the rag of life for every drop it was worth, with no unfinished business, then when we face death we're calm about it.   There's no loose ends left flapping around out there, causing regret and anxiety.  smile

It's a good idea if we haven't started doing so already to think in this manner.  If I were to die in a year's time, what would I like to have done before I go?  Is there a rift out there I would have wanted to mend before going?  A trip I would have wanted to take?  Some sort of do-good act I would have liked to have done?   Problems arise when we mistakenly fall for the modern Western societal programming that we're all going to live to make it to be 105 years old, in a nursing home somewhere.   No.  We won't all live to be that old.  Some of us are going to die within the next year, actually.  And it's okay. That's the way it goes.  Just make sure you don't have loose ends lingering before you go.  smile

Just food for thought....

Lyra... i love this "thought", now you are onto something!
issue of life and death is THE issue... right now. haha

A wise man once said "die while alive to actually live"

Re: I am destined for death...

Doctor DTA....I was pretty much where you are now...worrying about what Im going to do, what about my family, etc,.........its 30yrs later, and still no big calamity. Somtimes, when we are so caught up in the fear, we dont pick up on the little subtle hints and nudges that are showing us how to get out of our present situation. Ive found that no matter what, Ive always been provided for, even when I didnt have food for the kids, whala!, somebody pays back the money they owe me, or an unexpected bonus shows up, or my neighbor had extra food.  IF you keep living in this constant fear you are not going to notice these things that will help you to leave the situation you are in. Trust me, if you can let go of the fear for awhile, and focus on your family and put it out to the universe you want to move to higher ground ,things will start falling into place for you. It wont be some big revelation, it will be like following the bread crumbs, you just need to quietly listen for them. Dont give up, and dont give in to the fear.

Hmmm... if I lived a block from the Pacific Ocean, how would I spend my days?

Just as I do now... knowing that today might me my last and therefore squeezing every last drop of life, love, pleasure and joy from it.  The only difference would be that I'd have a much prettier view to look at!!

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.

I think I know enough of hate

Is also great and would suffice.  ~Robert Frost

Careful about buying the spin.  Many psychics do not have lovey dovey intentions that we bestow upon them just because they are 'gifted'.  Look at LipstickMystic's story about her interactions with CIA man (scroll to post#20).  That illustration explains a lot.  So, the inference is that the amount of people gifted in this area who are not operating for a negative agenda and still alive and working for the positive -- is probably a small number.

Scientists... who owns the majority of the scientists, anyways?  Look at cell phone radiation research, for example.  They fund all the studies that are used as benchmarks.  There is an excellent example you can study by looking at the work and experience of Dr. Jerry Phillips and Dr. George Carlo, for example (starter links here here and here).

Cell phone radiation/towers/FCC is just one example.  And we've seen with the US's black budget of perhaps $1T, a key focus is the proliferation of disinfo.  Do you really think the New Age "industry" is going to be immune to this?  On the contrary, this is a gemstone for them; it appears strongly as if CIA has major assets in this area, in full-distribution mode.  And, which scientist and gurus do you think are the ones that are going to get the heavy publishing and promoting.

We need to be reminded that the real war is not fought with guns and bombs, the real war is for our minds, and is fought psychologically and with technology.  If all of humanity is visualizing a specific future, event or outcome, then.... according to what we know about the Mind and its creative abilities, what do you think is going to happen?

Re: I am destined for death...

Right on Visavis.
Television is a powerful force, so are books. Prophecies, just like "the" news or quasi-fictional books (not in a derogatory sense, but after all, what hasn't come to pass yet cannot be considered fact) aren't written in stone; they are constantly in motion, are constantly being shaped. Many turn out to be not "true" because a series of events didn't plan out as the prophet had predicted. Just look at some of Edgar Cayce's prophecies...good man, but very few of them came true. Whether it was his "fault" or anothers is something we don't know.
From my perspective, we have alot of influence on these Earth changes...our personal accomplishments, our perception of the world (particularly a loving one combined with discernment), and particularly our actions, does shape the world on more than just an immediate physical level. Our ability to learn from lessons is one of the most powerful tools in spiritual evolution, and definitely, these Earth changes are just another form to "awaken" us. The more we learn, the less these changes will be "necessary" for our evolution on a karmic level.
But in the end, who really knows?

If you cannot accept the inevitability of death, then learning how to survive a tsunami can give you enough confidence to live your life without being paralyzed by doom. Additional comfort can be had trough physical preparations (survival kit, medical kit, life vest, weather radio, quick access to roof, etc...) See also Surviving a Tsunami.

Re: I am destined for death...

Doctor, I think you've gotten some very great advice here.  I just want to add that perhaps part of what's bothering you here is that living by the sea isn't your choice.  It sounds like it's the choice of others from your posts.

There were some absolutely horrible studies by scientists wherein they delivered electric shocks to rats.  One group had no control over when the shocks were delivered-- they were random, and the other group had some warning and a sense of control over it.  I can't remember how they did that, though.  Anyway, the group that had some control showed fewer signs of stress.

That's why Montalk's suggestion is so great.  If you can't find a reason why you personally choose to stay, at least you can gain control by planning.

Re: I am destined for death...

When did anyone's prediction ever come true? So far they have been 100% wrong. That's pretty good odds against what you are afraid of.
