I don't check under this topic much, but I just spotted this one.
Not to be an attack of any sort, Starcat you have briefly nosed in on many threads, a few of mine too I think, and just left kind of a generic
"we shouldn't be thinking in this direction"
Which is fine, really the only issue I have with that is, like lyra said above,
you seem to jump around a bit, and when you comment the way you do sometimes, it comes off as somewhat less than substantive. Too brief, I wish you would explain yourself more.
As a lifelong "overthinker" I am aware of the pitfalls, not all of them of course, I am not infinetely wise.
Thought is our first line of defense, would you agree?
I have made effort to reduce "dwelling"
and increase "productive" thought.
What this comes down to, is that your own perception and experience is making judgement for others, as to how much is the right amount.
I have often considered my own "over"thinking to be a disease.
And who's to say it isn't?
Starcat I do understand at some level what you mean at times, but the language you use is difficult for me to follow at other times.
"on a higher plane"
Which is what I aspire to be. I think different individuals begin their existence at different levels of "baseline" awareness and wisdom.
Starcat, go easy on us slower learners, please.... that is really all I am asking you. And do continue, because you do have some real wisdom which many of us can and will benefit from!
