"Anti-Semite" comments. I don't get it... (Page 1 of 2)

It's being presented to re-inforce the concept that anti-semitism is valid and that it is to be considered an undesirable thing in our society. Basically, to alter our perceptions of or our attitudes towards 'Jewish' people and, by association, to nurture an attitude of acceptance of Jews as being the 'good guys'.

While in the cop car, he supposedly started ranting that the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world, and then asked the cop, "Are you a Jew?"  then said to a female cop, "What are you lookin' at, Sugar Tits?"   Then he said he was going to destroy the cop for arresting him, because according to Mel, he "owns Malibu." 

So much hoopla over a ridiculous drunken tyrade.  Even the - Jewish - cop who Mel was cussing out and slurring to apparently doesn't even care about what Mel said. 

For me, "sugar tits" is my new joke word.     It's so stupid it's funny.  Gotta love it.  In fact the other day we were walking through a parking lot and I saw a vanity license plate that said Super Hits, and because of the latest introduction to the public lexicon, I thought it said "Sugar Tits" and started laughing out loud when I saw that it didn't actually say that.   

People want to get offended, insulted, they want to get all up on their high horse, caring about what other people say and think.  That's what it boils down to.  The majority of 3rd density people haven't figured out that people are allowed to think and say and feel whatever they want.  Whether other people like those opinions or not.   People can't seem to wrap their minds around that one.  It's the pinnacle of immaturity.  "It's okay for me to have *my* opinions and ideas, but *you're* not allowed to think or say anything that I personally disagree with!!!  That's wrong, offensive and unacceptable!!"   Maybe we can add this to Mahatma's list over in the thread "I'm so fed up."    Seriously, it's a good one, because it's so rampant in this world.   

And as Xenopope pointed out, it's also about reconditioning society with regards to the Jews.  It's a form of mind control going on, David Icke has talked about it in a slightly different form.  For example, we're not allowed to so much as even criticize anything Israel does because to do so is to be "anti-semite."  It's such illogical, fallacious bullshit to the highest degree.   This is how the TPTB want it.  They deal in upside down, inside out fallacies of logic, for the sake of mind control and reprogramming the way society thinks.   There are other issues probably playing themselves out with regards to Mel's drunken tyrade - including the fact that many Jews are in positions of power in Hollywood and effectively "run" things, from the heads of studios, to power player producers and directors, to A list actors and actresses, and let's face it...that's where Mel works.  He works in Hollywood.  And the power players who have fallen for the "anti-semite" programming will, and already are, latching onto Mel's drunken babbling with a vengence, waving it around and kicking up a firestorm of indignation, wanting his balls on a plate.  Sorry, but my attitude is "get over it."   The fact that Mel is now going to meet with the heads of the Jewish community to atone for his silly drunken rant, speaking at gatherings and such is such complete b.s., in my opinion.  He shouldn't have to do that for ANY group he's ranting about.   If Mel wanted to offer a sincere apology for his own reasons, then cool, (and he did apparently, although whether it was sincere, who knows, and honestly, I don't care) but to go through all that extra rigamarole of meeting with community leaders and giving public contrition speeches.....all to *appease* people for whom two written public apologies still wasn't enough.....that's what I've got an issue with.   But, that's where our society is right now. 

This is one of my "button issues," the idea of people policing other people and people's thoughts being squelched down and controlled, having to change who we are to appease others.   I can't stand it.   The Mel Situation is a microcosm for much bigger, highly annoying issues pervading our 3rd density world.

Hey, it sells magazines and newspapers. Mel is plastered all over everything. For Christs sake, leave  the guy alone. Good thing Im not a celebrity, the last time I had too much to drink, I called my friend who was walking me home (holding me up actually) "my sweet tomato stake".  Dont remeber saying it, dont know where the hell that came from,  but I have not lived that one down yet.

All I can say is, let's try not to remember Mel this way:

btw, I'm just kidding.  I've never been a Mel Gibson fan.  Haven't even seen Mad Max (or Lethal Weapon, or most of his movies for that matter).    Oh well.

Well, what happens if you're Jewish and you're against what Israel is doing? Does the world explode?
The news coverage is so *weird* in the US, how they only report one side of the "war" currently underway in Israel and Lebanon. We're handed down the notion that to be agaisnt what Israel is doing is to be "anti-Semetic". It's hog-wash.
Regarding Jews starting all the wars going on in the world, who started the major wars? Disgruntled, largely secular (though they may use religion to rally support behind them, ala Bush) white people thinking they know what's good for ya. Last time I checked, Kaiser Willhelm wasn't Jewish...Hitler may have been like 1/8th Jewish. President Johnson, as far as I know (and  there's no concrete evidence he was) was not Jewish, but he decided to send more troops into Vietnam. And George Bush I and II? Wow, he wasn't and still isn't Jewish either.
Sure, you can blame banking interests and arms dealers for starting " all the world's wars", but if in your research they turn out to be Jewish, don't let yourself paint all Jews as being one and the same. It's like saying "Hey whitie, I'm gonna kill ya 'cause ya look like ma grandmas slave ownah!". There's a difference between being rational and being unabashedly racist/judgementalist.
