has anyone else read this book/series?  this one fell into my lap the other day and i just finished it last night.  at first i thought i was reading for 'entertainment purposes only' but now i realize it wasn't so (especially after seeing that review there from Publishers Weekly...i gotta kick outta that wink)

wait a minute.  that article is for a different book...right title, wrong author.  DOH!  yet somehow still applicable.  guess i'll read that one, too.
