The most Mysterious and Compelling Tree

Some years back while in and around Portland I was captivated by an unusual tree growing in those parts. I would see them while me and my aunt were driving and touring the area which is also quite scenic and beautiful. It stuck in my awareness but it took me a while to ask for some unknown reason. Days later were are driving again and I ask, what kind of tree is that and she says
Thats a  " Monkey Puzzle Tree." I knew It was my favorite then. I have not been able to find a good photograph of a mature tree on the net yet, but to see one of these with many years of growth is amazing. I cannot describe the energy they carry. I have a photograph of myself by a small one.
