After hearing about these teas while chatting with Pleiadean Healer in IRC, I decided that I'd like to try them too. I received them yesterday, tried one of each type, and I've got to say that I liked them, as well. I was thinking the best way to describe them was to list the teas and my impressions of each...so here goes:
(Note: Actually, I'm not sure if you're supposed to drink one cup of each in succession, but that's what I did, and I got a little "happy", if you know what I mean.)
1 Chakra: (Red Berry Rooibos) smells very sweet and fruity, reminded me of gummi bears!
Effects: slightly increased body temperature and felt like a little energy rush (not confined to the 1st chakra)
2 Chakra: (Dragonfruit) love, LoVe, LOVE the aroma and taste of this tea. couldn't quite place the scent, but it was very familiar, like a mild, fruity, minty licorice....very subtle, though
Effects: nothing specific to the 2nd chakra, but I did have a little "high" after drinking this tea.
3 Chakra: (Vanilla Honeybush) very comforting, warm vanilla-honey scent, with subtle citrusy flavor
Effects: slight "hum" of energy in my 3rd chakra (and it wasn't just a tummy rumble)
4 Chakra: (Melon & Green) I really liked this one! grape/happy/candy/warm
Effects: tickling sensation in my 4th chakra & a very contented feeling overall
5 Chakra: (Blue Ginger) watch out for this one...it's "potent" both in flavor and effects. It smells like patchouli, has a slight lemon taste, and leaves a very mild jalapeno burn in your mouth
Effects: my voice seemed to resonate from my root chakra when I spoke after drinking this tea, and I was feeling a bit "goofy". Also, had 2 ear ringings (right ear), that continued on and off for the rest of the evening.
6 Chakra: (Guan ¡ban ¡) It's Purple!! Okay, besides that.... there's really nothing more to say... to me, this tea had such a subtle flavor that I almost didn't taste it at all, but that might just be because the previous tea was so intense.
Effects: it seemed to cancel-out the effects of the previous teas, rebalancing me to a "normal" state of awareness. other than that, nothing noticable.
7 Chakra: (White Lotus) very mild, subtle, sweet and flowery....actually the chamomile is what stood out for me
Effects: again, no noticable effect besides getting a little sleepy from the chamomile, but a very nice tea to relax with
Oookie...so those were my first impressions of each of the teas. I plan on trying the 6th and 7th again, just on their own. That 5th tea was so strong that I feel any tea afterwards didn't really have my full attention, so to speak.
Overall, I'm thrilled with them and would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a nice change of pace. I'm so glad that JP told me about them. Thanks, JP!
I was getting bored with my Lipton's! heh heh
