Pinkrlyq:  I agree that most humans on this planet are not ready for a total mass accention.  The mass accenction would be for all those who are ready to rise.  I haven't been able to clear my head enough this week to really respond in any sort of intelligent manner.  Maybe after a little rest tonight I'll be ready to go.

Re: The Meaning of Life...

Are we nearing a time when a "mass ascention" to post-humanity may be nearing completion where those who are ready will move on while those who are not will stay in roughly the same state?  Or is this just what always happens around this time?  Do all these various sources, orthodox and bizarre, point to some transformation that will occur in the vary near future?  Or have certain groups of people just been telling themselves that throughout the course of recorded history.  I'm sure I don't know!

Re: The Meaning of Life...

reference book: "Man's Search for Meaning: An Introduction to Logotherapy" by Viktor E. Frankl

When in a concentration camp during WWII he found himself, and he found the character in the others around him. Apathy was contegeous, understandably. The captives used cigarettes as money. They observed that those who smoked their cigarettes had lost their will to live.

I often wonder if people so caught up with apathy and fear are smokers for similar reasons.

I love life, yet few want to know anything about "A man's Search for Meaning". I hope we could talk about Dr. Frankl's book?

Any smokers here?

Re: The Meaning of Life...

To be honest every day I bring in to question why I trust the information I read.  Because at some point I began to realise that which we are told to believe and that which is true are entirely two seperate things, I began looking for the truth.  Afterall upon learning you can't trust the authorities on things,  then who do you turn to.  The only thing I have to go on is what seems to fit the pieces of the puzzle for me.  Truthfully my puzzle could be composed of pieces that are all disinformation, but they fit oh so nicely!

The pieces I have so far seem to suggest the possibiltiy of some sort of dimensionsal, or density shift for us from the 3rd to the 4th.  My favortie sources tend to suggest as well, those living in 3d now that aren't ready will not move up to 4, but instead will begin again on earth 300,000 years in the past, because after all linear time is an illusion.

It is like that for me also.  Lately I've begun to let go of the doubt that it may be "wrong" (lol that term is funny now), and just go with it.  Where will it lead?  I don't know!  But I tell you, its fun and enjoyable.

The big picture has been discussed already... are we ready to evolve?  Ascend?

Well, if working at my latest job is any indication.. no we're not.   Although.. I myself feel as though everything is in the process of transmutation.   Change is happening at accelerated speeds, but yet, even though I may feel it, when I obseve the world... I still see ignorance.  Maybe I am seeing this part within myself, and transcending it.

You know I had an amazing experience the other day.  As a kid, my friends would always come to my door, no warnings or anything, and ask if I wanted to play hockey, or "come out and play".  Then I was wondering... when was the last time that has happened?  I couldn't remember!  And then, these two kids, around 7-8 years old, came to the door and ask me to come out and play!  I'm 19!  I always feel connected to kids more that I do with adults... its amazing.

The meaning of life - from my perspective - is to create.  But I agree with everyone else's meanings.. they all contain truth in my opinion.

Ascend?

The second coming of Christ (the passion) has already begun. Unfortunately,  the world is resistent to change.

What would be the form of this second coming?

A new voice of consciousness. One of love and compassion. A greater understanding of the dynamic quality of love: marerophilia.

A metaphysical shift from cause/effect to a mwtaphysics of Quality. Quality=value=love=passion. A new look at passion. A more evolved sense of connectedness through this greater understanding of complex love:marerophilia.

A coming together of science and spirituality. A purpose: to ascend to a higher sense of individuation, and self expression. A reaching out by those who know to those who are weak and isolated.
