Hi,

Let's have input from anyone who'd like to contribute to this thread - a compilation of quotes "straight from the horse's mouth" as it were. 

Reading various sources along the way of my journey, I am routinely flabbergasted by admissions of generally negative "power brokers" (present and past).  I have a mind to share and maybe... who knows, compile a bit of an "illusion roadmap".

"Where you stand on an issue depends on where you sit..."  Dunno where it comes from, but I always use it to remind myself that it is completely natural for someone to defend/consider their own needs first. Thus, the prudent thing to do is to remain flexible enough in my own understandings, in order to preceive theirs, and then work to find the commonalities instead of the differences.

Another one whose source I don't know - "Freedom is only a word for a new oppressor."
