Music That Enhances Life (Page 2 of 2)

Hi folks,
in 2004 I finished my masters thesis on the topic of THE USE OF SOUND FOR CONTROL, HEALING AND EMPOWERMENT. It is 35+ pages long, so maybe a bit too long to post here.. I could email it as an attachment if anyone was interested in reading it. I learned about the use of subliminals in advertising, and applied some of the techniques I learned to create a meditation recording with my own positive "subliminal" and paraliminal (barely audible) messages speaking positive affirmations, in combination with binaural beat tones which synchronize the brain hemispheres and induce meditative states naturally. I am now planning to offer this service locally, to let people record their own voices to do a guided meditation or affirmations.
I will post some ambient music suggestions of groups/artists I have been enjoying recently, off the top of my head I know I have listened to Brian Eno & Harold Budd's Ambient II about a million times, it is somewhat melancholy at times but just gorgeous ambient piano music from the late 70s, deeeeply relaxing, there are four different Brian Eno Ambient records, they are all good, II is the best. Susumu Yokota's Sakura takes a similar approach to a gorgeous ambient sound, but much more modern and cinematic, looping organic instrumental sounds and natural samples. Also Susumu Yokota & Rothko - Distant Sounds Of Summer, lots of natural environmental recordings and ambient guitar and computer wizardry. If you like the sound of Tibetan metal singing bowls, there is a recording by Benjami Iobst called Seven Metals: Singing Bowls Of Tibet, it will move you. I will post more when I can think of them.

oh yeah If I had the webspace to do it, I would share some of the binaural beat meditation recordings I've made. Is there anywhere to post such files for free? It would be like a ~65M mp3, and my thesis is about 300K .doc. Are there places that give out free webspace for file sharing?

Spartan2402--I apologize for the terse comment about sublims.  The only kind I could
allow for myself would be ones that I personally chose.  Well meaning phrases and
affirmations from someone else's viewpoint may not be right for me.  I'd have to pick
them myself if I was ever going to do it.
