Syria party kicks out 'traitor'

Syria's ruling Baath Party has expelled former Vice-President Abdul Halim Khaddam - a day after parliament voted to bring treason charges against him.
The moves follow remarks by Mr Khaddam implicating President Bashar al-Assad in the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in February 2005.

The remarks in an Arabic TV interview have caused outrage in mainstream political circles in Damascus.

A UN-led inquiry implicated Syria in the murder, but Damascus denies blame.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle … 573894.stm

As at quantum level, an Octahedron can't sustain it's existence without a supportive cube to stabilize the poles. In our 3D reality it means that the next Cube date could be very important on the Hariri/ Syria - WWIII emerging timecoded pattern.

Hyper Dimensional Cube Date around ( +/- 1 day):

365 / 360 * 45 = February 15

365 / 360 * 135 = May 17

365 / 360 * 225 = August 17

365 / 360 * 315 = November 16

I JUST NOTICED HARIRI WAS KILLED ON A HD CUBE DATE !!!!!!!!! ( feb 14 )

So we have Februari 14, 2006 coming up as a possible significant related date on the emerging pattern

This Hyper dimensional Cube date is annually recurring and on February 14, 2007 (+/- 1 day ) it is EXACTLY 100 Venus years is Earth days that the US dropped an atomic bomb for the last time:

August 9, 1945 Nagasaki - HD Cube date February 14, 2007 =

exactly 100 Venus years in Earthdays

another possible related date:

September 8, 2006

end of first 911 based 'Control' window of 1823 days after september 11, 2001 ( 911 + event + 911 = 1823, see 555 triggers thread )

9/11- 911 days - Madrid Bombings - 911 days - September 8, 2006

Phi based inpiralling: 911 - Madrid - Rita - September 8, 2006

The major underlying theme of our times is emerging on the triggerdates for September 8, 2006:

NUCLEAR

555 starttrigger on the awakenings timeframe around September 8, 2006:

March 1, 1954 - Nuclear testing: The Castle Bravo, a 15-megaton hydrogen bomb, is detonated on Bikini Atoll in the Pacific Ocean, resulting in the worst radioactive contamination ever caused by the United States.

and with The Venus Connection in mind:

March 1, 1966 - Venera 3 Soviet space probe crashes on Venus becoming the first spacecraft to land on another planet's surface.

at the same moment in history:

March 1, 1966 - The Ba'ath Party takes power in Syria. ( Assad clan)

End of Ba'ath Party in Syria in combination with a nuclear theme on this 911 based Design could mean:

Possibility of emerging US nuclear threat to Damascus around September 8, 2006 ( not a detonation, but an emerging pattern! )

This years February 14 was completely silent, athough all elements were present for some US rethoric. ( lots of people on the streets in Beirut etc.)

The 2 following HD Tetrahedron date which followed both showed Syria related info as anticipated prior to the dates:

March 12 with the arrest of a suspect in Brasil and April 21 with the announcement of a special tribunal.

So all major development took place on Hyper dimensional dates:
Hariri killed on Cube feb 14 , Syria indicted with the UN report on October 21, suspect arrested on Tetrahedron March 12, UN tribunal on April 21

So now we have Cube May 17 coming up and the 911 based window on September 8, 2006 and as a climax Cube February 14, 2007

You don't have to understand the theories in order to be able to monitor the emerging patterns. That's why I do these anticipations prior to the dates, so positive energy could be added to these emerging patterns.
Come on people, I don't do exact predictions, I identify related timeframes witch are related on the uderlying patterns. So we will have a change to get involved with our own commitment.

It's not for no reason that I call these 911 related patterns and Tetrahedron based HD dates 'elements of controll'

Thirty detained as Egypt probes resort bombings

Thirty suspects were being questioned as Egypt pressed its investigation into deadly bombings in the Red Sea resort of Dahab, the third such attacks to have hit the Sinai in 18 months.

Security sources said the suspects had been rounded up since the explosions rocked the resort on Monday as it was packed with foreign tourists and Egyptians enjoying a traditional spring holiday.

Health and security officials said the Dahab bombings -- which drew a barrage of international condemnation -- had killed at least 18 people, including six foreigners, and wounded up to 80 people.

But medics were still in the process of identifying body parts and warned the figure could change.

The state-owned daily Al-Ahram confirmed that the three attacks -- which killed at least 18 people -- were perpetrated by suicide bombers, who concealed their explosives in leather bags.

The newspaper said investigators were running DNA tests to match body parts with identity papers bearing the name of Eid Atta Suleiman -- a Bedouin from northern Sinai -- which were found on the scene of one of the explosions.

Investigators also retrieved other body parts from the sea which they believe may belong to the suicide bombers.

Security sources said the investigators believe that the Dahab bombings are connected to two previous waves of bombings along the Sinai coast.

The government accuses a group called Tawhid wal Jihad (Unification and holy war) of carrying out the July 2005 Sharm el-Sheikh attacks that killed some 70 people and multiple bombings further up the coast that left 34 people dead in October 2004.

Security officials had said Tuesday that three of the those detained in Dahab were Egyptian computer engineers carrying fake papers who arrived in the resort on Sunday and left an hour after the attacks.

"Mumen Faruk Mohammed, Ali Karim Ashraf Abdallah and Majed Ali Mahmud arrived in Dahab in a car whose number plate had changed by the time they left," one source said.

President Hosni Mubarak, who visited the victims in hospital on Tuesday, vowed to track down and punish those responsible for the bombings.

The Dahab attacks came a day before Sinai Liberation Day, a public holiday which celebrates Israel's 1982 withdrawal from the peninsula, in what many analysts saw as evidence that the perpetrators were from a local group with an Egyptian agenda.

The carnage nevertheless threw Egypt -- the most populous Arab country and a key regional mediator -- back into the heart of Middle East turmoil and confirmed it as a new favourite Arab target for terrorism outside of Iraq.

The attacks came one day after a new audiotape was aired of Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden accusing the "crusaders" of the West of waging war on Islam.

On Tuesday night, the first ever videotape of Al-Qaeda frontman in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was aired, in which he threatened "the Jews, crusaders, rawafidh (a derogatory term for Shiites) and apostates" across the region.

US President George W. Bush branded the Dahab bombings a "heinous act" while British Prime Minister Tony Blair urged the world to unite against terrorism.

Meanwhile, the devastated resort -- particularly popular with divers, Israeli tourists and Western backpackers -- was trying to recover from the shock of the attacks.

On Wednesday, most shops in Dahab were blaring the Koran while restaurants and cafes were offering free food and drinks to tourists in an effort to keep their customers.

A group of Egyptian celebrities was also expected in Dahab Wednesday in a bid to boost the resort's morale.

Blasts near peacekeeping base in Egypt

Wednesday, April 26, 2006 Posted: 1208 GMT (2008 HKT)

CAIRO, Egypt -- Two suicide bombers attempted to attack a multinational force vehicle and a police command post in the northern part of the Sinai Peninsula, an Egyptian government spokesman says.

Wednesday's attacks took place 10 miles (about 16 kilometers) from the Israeli border near Rafah. They come two days after a triple bombing killed 18 people at the Sinai resort city on the Red Sea.

The bombers in Wednesday's attack killed themselves but no one else, said Magdy Rady, a spokesman for the Egyptian prime minister.

Speaking from Cairo, Rady told CNN that the first bomber was riding a motorbike. He exploded himself near a multinational force vehicle at around 11:10 a.m. local time (0910 GMT).

The second bomber exploded himself near a police command post at 11:25 local time, Rady said.

He said there were no other injuries or "material damage."

However, The Associated Press quoted security officials and Egypt's official news agency as saying at least one New Zealander and one Norwegian attached to the multinational force as well as two Egyptian policemen had been wounded.

Rady said he believed there was a connection between Wednesday's attack and the Dahab bombing on Monday.

A spokesman for the Multinational Force and Observers in Cairo refused to immediately comment on the blast, AP reported.

The peacekeeping force was set up as part of the 1979 peace treaty between Israel that led to Israel's withdrawal from the Sinai.

The forces is funded partly by the United States and has U.S. advisers and soldiers attached to it from several other countries.

The Sinai -- Egypt's desert peninsula that abuts Israel and separates the Mediterranean from the Red Sea -- has been wracked by a series of Islamic extremist bombings in the last year and a half.

The multinational force also has a base in southern Sinai.

Re: April 21, 2006

Thursday April 27, 2:50 PM
New international pressure on Syria over Lebanon interference

International pressure mounted on Syria on the first anniversary of its troop withdrawal from Lebanon over its actions in its small neighbour.

France said it was preparing a new UN Security Council resolution on Syria's relations with Lebanon, while US President George W. Bush ordered an asset freeze against any suspect found to be involved in the assassination last year of former Lebanese premier Rafiq Hariri.

Bush did not name names, but pointedly cited a UN probe that has implicated senior Syrian officials and their Lebanese allies.

A US spokesman meanwhile took Syria to task for a laundry list of concerns while asserting that Washington and the international community "stand with the Lebanese people" and "support their call for national dignity, truth, and justice."

France said Wednesday that it was preparing a draft resolution that would urge Syria to respond to Lebanon's call for establishment of formal diplomatic ties between the two neighbors and for a demarcation of their common border.

France's UN envoy Jean-Marc de La Sabliere said he was consulting with other members of the Security Council and hoped to have a text ready "at the beginning of next week."

He noted that Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora's call to Syria, made here Friday in an address, was "very important for the sovereignty and independence of Lebanon."

"It is important that Syria answers these requests," the French envoy said.

He spoke after a briefing of the 15-member Security Council by Terje Roed-Larsen, the UN envoy tasked with settling the Syrian-Lebanese dispute.

Speaking earlier, US Ambassador John Bolton said: "We think another resolution by the Security Council is warranted to highlight continued Syrian failure to comply with the requirements of (resolution) 1559."

Syria withdrew its troops from Lebanon in 2005 after 29 years of military and political domination of its smaller neighbor, in line with Security Council Resolution 1559 passed the previous year.

Roed-Larsen noted that a report by UN chief Kofi Annan stressed the need to disarm all Lebanese and non-Lebanese militias in order to fulfill the requirements of resolution 1559.

"We are encouraging Iran, Syria and also other countries and actors in the region who have influence related to the full implementation of 1559 to be helpful," he said.

The main militia is the military wing of the radical Islamic movement Hezbollah, backed by Syria and Iran, which faces off against Israel in the southern border area with Beirut's consent.

In Washington, the State Department said that "disarmament of militias and extension of effective Lebanese sovereignty throughout the entire country remain priorities.

"Syria must immediately end the flow of arms to militias within Lebanon and cooperate with the Lebanese government on border security," spokesman Adam Ereli said.

The world must hold Syria accountable, he said, until it "responds completely" to concerns about interference in Lebanon, insufficient action on the Iraqi border, sponsorship of Palestinian terrorist groups, as well as its cooperation with the UN probe of Hariri's murder.

The executive order Bush signed late Tuesday allows the United States to implement sanctions against any suspect identified by that probe under UN Resolution 1636, a US official explained.

"It does not block property immediately," the official said, "meaning that the individuals targeted in the assets freeze have yet to be determined."

Bush said that the freeze would apply to the assets of all those "involved in planning, sponsoring, organizing, or perpetrating the terrorist act in Beirut, Lebanon, on February 14, 2005, that are related to Hariri's assassination."

He further noted that individuals interviewed in the case had tried to impede the investigation "by giving false or inaccurate statements," and said a "senior official of Syria" had given false statements to the UN commission leading the probe.

Two reports by the UN commission of inquiry have implicated senior Syrian officials and their Lebanese allies in Hariri's murder in a massive bomb blast on the Beirut seafront on February 14 last year, which also killed another 22 victims.

Top UN investigator Serge Brammertz met Syrian President Bashar al-Assad Tuesday over the murder of Hariri. It was the first time UN investigators met Assad, who agreed to receive them but insisted it would be a "meeting and not an interrogation."

Syria has strongly denied any involvement in the killing and has accused the United Nations of bias.

Re: April 21, 2006

An unknown number of US troops injured in twin suicide bombing at the Multinational Observer Organization-MFO Sinai base Wednesday – a witness reports to DEBKAfile

April 26, 2006, 9:34 PM (GMT+02:00)

The MFO and Egypt have drawn a blackout over this event and the other suspected al Qaeda suicide bombings and shooting attacks occurring in rapid succession in the Gaza Strip, Sinai and Egypt on April 26. Two days earlier, a triple al Qaeda bombing attack devastated the Dahab coastal resort in eastern Sinai, killing at least 34 people and injuring 70.

DEBKAfile’s sources have garnered a few details.

The first incident began when Palestinian police stopped two cars, one carrying 10 barrels - each containing 50 kilos explosives, before they crashed into the Gaza-Israeli Karni goods crossing. The police shoot-out with the five terrorists prevented half a ton of explosives destroying the wall dividing the Palestinian and Israeli sides of the terminal where some 200 Palestinian and Israeli border personnel are employed. This scale of this foiled attack suggests al Qaeda’s hand.

Next came the bombing at the MFO Gura base in northern Sinai. One suicide killer hit a car carrying peacekeepers to their base. The second rode a motorcycle which blew up as Egyptian security and aid units arrived on the scene. Official it is reported that peacekeepers were injured – a New Zealander and a Norwegian - and two Egyptian policemen. According to DEBKAfile, the casualty figure was higher and included US soldiers.

The MFO force was set up in 1981 to monitor Sinai’s demilitarization under the Israel-Egyptian peace treaty.

Finally, a group of gunmen stormed a police station in the Egyptian town of Balbit south of Ismailiya on the east bank of the Suez Canal. The Egyptian authorities deny this attack took place. No further details are available.

has now outlived its welcome. Many Lebanese hold Syria responsible for Mr. Hariri's death, and while President Bush withholds judgment, he urges Syria to remove its troops from Lebanon.

Until more is known, Syria remains a prime suspect in the assassination, though Lebanese security forces are also focused on a Palestinian refugee who had threatened Mr. Hariri. US blocks Hariri suspects' assets

US President George W Bush has ordered a freeze on the assets of anyone linked to the assassination of Lebanon's former Prime Minister, Rafik Hariri.
The order called for the assets to be blocked of anyone linked to the Hariri killing - or to "terrorist acts" in Lebanon in which Syria is implicated.

Mr Bush said the order was based on UN findings against Lebanon and Syria.

A UN probe has implicated top Syrian officials and their Lebanese allies in the February 2005 attack on Mr Hariri.

Syria has denied it was involved in the massive bomb blast that killed the former Lebanese leader as his motorcade was passing the seafront in Beirut.

His death prompted street protests and international pressure on Damascus to withdraw the troops it had stationed in Lebanon for nearly three decades.

Elections held after Syria withdrew its forces brought to power a coalition of parties campaigning for an end to Damascus' influence in Lebanon.

'UN evidence'

The US order for the freezing of assets did not name any suspects in the Hariri killing.

President Bush's executive order said the move would affect anyone "involved in planning, sponsoring, organising, or perpetrating the terrorist act in Beirut, Lebanon.. related to Hariri's assassination".

He said additional steps were being taken "concerning certain actions of the government of Syria".

The president said his order took into account evidence published by the UN "pointing to both Lebanese and Syrian involvement in terrorist acts".

Mr Hariri's death was followed by a wave of bombings targeting prominent opponents of Syrian influence in Lebanon.

Syria has been accused by the UN of not fully co-operating with the inquiry into Mr Hariri's assassination.

Egypt's al-Jazeera chief charged

The Cairo bureau chief of TV channel al-Jazeera has been charged with false reporting and released on bail after more than a day in custody.
Police had questioned Hussein Abdel Ghani over his coverage of the Sinai bombs earlier this week.

The interior ministry said the journalist had falsely reported a blast in eastern Sharkia province.

"I'm fine but I have had hardly any sleep for the past 40 hours," the reporter told al-Jazeera by phone.

He was released on bail of 10,000 Egyptian pounds or $1,745 and charged with "propagating false news that can disturb national security and cause chaos", according to al-Jazeera.

A triple bombing of the Sinai resort of Dahab on Monday killed 18 people.

On Wednesday, two suicide bombers attacked security personnel and foreign peacekeepers at el-Gorah in the Sinai Peninsula, but did not cause any injuries.

'Inhumane'

The interior ministry said Mr Abdel Ghani's arrest concerned the false reporting of an explosion in Sharkia on Wednesday.

A spokesman said: "[Hussein Abdel Ghani] said there were incidents in Sharkia and nothing happened. He's spreading confusion.

"When he said there was an explosion in Sharkia, leading everyone to ask about it, about something that didn't happen, where did he get that from?"

Before his release, Mr Abdel Ghani called the channel, saying he was speaking from the chief prosecutor's office in Cairo.

He denied the charge of "propagating false news".

Mr Abdel Ghani, who worked previously for the BBC's Arabic service and has reported for al-Jazeera from Cairo since 1997, said he was bundled into a van in Dahab and driven away.

"I was treated in a very inhumane way," he said.

A member of the Egyptian journalists' union, Gamal Fahmy, told AFP news agency: "We consider the arrest of the head of the al-Jazeera bureau to be an attack on press freedom in Egypt."

Al-Jazeera is watched by millions of Arab viewers but its reporters have been barred by a number of countries in the region.

Egypt has blamed local Bedouins linked to an Islamic militant group for the Dahab bombings.

What we've seen so far is to be considered a Hyper Dimensional 'inwelling' with a physical 3D reaction (7.7 Kamchatka quake), materializing as seismic and volcano activity. The  'outwelling ' is yet to come. I doesn't have to be an "earth change " outwelling but it's a possibility. It could also be an event. I expect an outwelling within the next 3 days but I'm not sure about how long it takes.

The Dahab bombings were within 3 days as a matching anticipated event and a possible Earth change 'outwelling' could take indeed more time:

Triple volcano risk to 70,000
GETHIN CHAMBERLAIN
CHIEF NEWS CORRESPONDENT
THE imminent eruption of three powerful volcanoes is endangering the lives of more than 70,000 people and threatening to affect the global climate by ejecting millions of tonnes of volcanic ash into the atmosphere.

The most serious threat is posed by the Merapi volcano in central Java, one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the Pacific "Ring of Fire", which was yesterday throwing out ash and small rocks. Geologists believe that the 1.7-mile high volcano could violently erupt at any time.

Two other volcanoes also giving cause for concern are the Galeras volcano in Colombia - expected to erupt within a matter of days or weeks - and the Urbinas volcano in southern Peru, which also appears to be gearing up for an eruption.

Aid workers have voiced concerns about the threat posed to the thousands of people living in the vicinity of the volcanoes and the Foreign Office has issued a travel warning advising British citizens to avoid the area around Mount Merapi.

It said the Indonesian centre for vulcanology had raised the alert status for the volcano and warned that an eruption might be imminent.

It added: "Indonesian authorities have evacuated the villages closest to the volcano and some flights over the area have been cancelled."

Aid agencies are preparing for the worst. Oxfam has briefed staff that up to 60,000 people in four districts around Merapi are at risk and that several hundred have already been relocated.

Most of those relocated are women, children and the elderly, but some are returning to their homes near the volcano during the day to feed livestock.

Yesterday, the tower of sulphurous smoke over the volcano had risen to 1,640ft and a rain of ash fell on one village on its slopes, which overlook the ancient city of Yogyakarta.

The volcano has a history of violent eruptions. In 1994 it killed 70 people and a 1930 eruption cost the lives of 1,300 people.

Government officials, including Hamengkubuwono X, the sultan of Yogyakarta and provincial governor, have been urging residents to leave the foothills, saying Merapi could erupt any time. Local vulcanologists have also noted the magma inside the volcano is reaching its peak.

The Galeras volcano in Colombia began erupting in 1988 after a period of dormancy and it has a history of large-scale eruptions. About 7,000 people are thought to be at risk if, as expected, it erupts in the near future, and aid workers report that many of those directly at risk have not left their homes.

The potential eruption of the Urbinas volcano in southern Peru puts some 4,500 people at risk. The volcano, about 470 miles from Lima, has triggered earth tremors which have been felt in the capital.

Peruvian authorities have declared a state of emergency in the area after the volcano started to eject gas and ash over a radius of 3.5 miles. Geologists report a dome of lava appears to be building in the crater, a sign that an eruption is imminent.

The eruption of any volcano can have an effect on local and global climate and three large eruptions close together could have a significant impact, leading to cooler temperatures.

The eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991 led to a drop in global air temperature over the next three years of between 0.2 and 0.5°C, according to NASA, which conducted a study into the effects of the millions of tonnes of ash and sulphur dioxide blown into the atmosphere.

Yesterday David Crichton, visiting professor at the Benfield Hazard Research Centre at University College London, said it was possible that the three volcanoes now expected to erupt could have similar effects.

"Volcanoes can have an impact on climate," he said. "Sulphur dioxide can have a cooling effect and there is also a dimming effect on the sun caused by the clouds of ash."

Report: 'Bali-style' bomb found

Monday, May 1, 2006 Posted: 0826 GMT (1626 HKT)

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) -- An Indonesian anti-terror unit found a backpack filled with explosives similar to those used in the 2005 Bali bombings, police said Monday, raising concerns that al-Qaeda linked militants were planning more strikes.

The homemade device was discovered in the Central Javanese town of Temanggung early Sunday, following a tip from militants arrested in a raid on the hideout of Southeast Asia's most wanted terror suspect Noordin Top, said police spokesman Brig. Gen. Anton Bachrul Alam.

"They found a bomb, like those used in the Bali blasts, in a storage unit," he told reporters, refusing to provide any more details.

The discovery raised worries that Noordin's regional terror network Jemaah Islamiyah, which is believed to be fighting for an Islamic state across the region, may be plotting more strikes in the world's largest Muslim-majority nation.

The group is blamed for at least four bombings in Indonesia since 2002, including October 1, 2005 suicide bombings on three crowded restaurants on Bali that left 20 people dead.

After months of surveillance, police launched a pre-dawn raid on Noordin's suspected hideout in Wonosobo -- a town 30 kilometers (18 miles) west of Temanggung -- but he escaped, police said.

Two other Islamic militants, however, were killed in an hour-long firefight and two others arrested.

Massive lava 'fin' rises up in Mount St. Helen's crater

By Bob Heye

MOUNT ST. HELENS - A spectacular new structure has formed inside the crater at Mount St. Helens, just in time for this weekend's opening of the Spirit Lake Highway.

A slab of rock the size of a football field is standing on end inside the crater.

The giant 'fin' is pushing upwards of four to five feet a day, but is not growing taller because it tends to crumble as it grows.

"Of course, the fin gets to about the height of a football field or so and then it starts to get unstable and we get rockfalls off the top of it, explained USGS Geologist Dan Dzurisin.

The fin joins another structure, nicknamed 'the whaleback,' as one of seven distinct structures that have grown and disintegrated since this eruption began in October 2004.

The growing fin is not the only thing changing inside the crater. While the fin is growing up, the dome is pushing outward at a rate of about a meter a day.

All of the changes have scientists anxious.

"It's been hard to get views," said Dzurisin. "It's been hard to keep track of what's going on. Now the weather's improving and we have an opportunity to go up there and study in a lot more detail what's going on."
