Reading People (Page 2 of 2)

Same here!   When I got back to where I was living at the time, I was glowing too, and practically walking on air.   "Magic's" vibe did more than just temporarily make me feel better for five seconds, it was like it transformed me for the next couple of days.  Took awhile for it to wear off.  I thought about him for a long time afterwards, and even wanted to go back up to L.A. to see if I could find him again, that's how incredible his vibe was.  But I knew that finding Magic in a city with over 10 million people is impossible.  (Actually...technically it's not, if you have the skillz, you can hunt down anybody and rearrange reality to make sure you'll cross paths.  I've had both happen in fact, but, stories for another thread I guess.) 

That's what I'm thinking.     

But can you imagine if there were millions of people like that in this reality??   Just merely being there, crossing paths with everybody else, would be enough to transform the people around them.   Then imagine what would happen!

And that's what I always wind up wondering when I think about this subject long enough....why aren't there more people like this among us??   Why can't there be more??

One time I was leaving a  get together in SoCal and it was late and there
was a very heavy box in the trunk. It was my parent's car, and they put the box in
there. I made a u turn to get onto the freeway, and the box must have slipped and
caused me to veer further and faster than the turn I made. I crashed into the curb,
slamming quite hard into the steering wheel, and came to a stop by the side of the
road. I sat there in shock, not knowing what to do, in the middle of the night with a
damaged car and no one in sight, by the side of the freeway.Then I prayed for aid and assistance. I got out of the car
when I found myself crying, and stumbled forward towards the corner. I planned to
walk until I found a phone. Instead, a family of Armenian people who radiated kindness were sitting there in their car. The driver got out. He said he'd seen the whole thing and would drive me home. I said it was far, and he said that was okay.
I just knew they were very good people. I cried in gratitude, because I knew if they
hadn't shown, I'd possibly have been in great danger. It was a totally unfamiliar area, and I couldn't have remembered how to get back to the location of the get together. It was a rare one time visit to family I didn't know too well, and it really
hadn't gone that great, for reasons I'll not get into here.

So they drove me home. I did feel like they were
angels. They showed up at just the right moment. It was amazing. I knew immediately that they were okay, too. They treated me more like family than
anyone I'd seen earlier! Sometimes I wonder if they were really a family of people as they appeared. I suspect not. They seemed to have materialized out of nowhere, almost.

So if it's not reading people, it's reading what appears to be people. But I couldn't really say what my method was...it was simply a knowing.

On the topic of friends.. well, my best friend is my brother.  After that.. hmmmm.. I have this guy I occasionally hang out with (we just met this school year) and thats about it.

I used to have "best friends" but those relationships never lasted.  I had three of them actually, and one of them we were really good friends.. and now we don't "vibe" at all anymore.  This has happened more and more since I've begun researching "different" ideas. 

The awesome thing is when I go play hockey outside, kids come out and play... hopefully meaning I am returning to my childlike imagination! I hope!

As for reading people, my experience at work is to simply observe and be calm/silent... then you will "know" (if the other person is lying/happy/sad etc.) through subtle feelings.

That usually denotes a history of poultry in your ancestry . . . (just kidding!)

You wouldn't believe how many people have told me the exact same thing. Actually, I don't read "what" people write, I read "how" they wrote it. "Chicken scratches" denote character. What you want to avoid is a person who writes as if they used a ruler (but they didn't) . . . the letters are in a perfectly straight line.

People who write "uphill" are usually optimistic, people who write "downhill" are usually pessimistic.
