Topic: Monitor Blinking (not the lizard)

Why is my monitor blinking at about 26 second intervals? The whole thing just blinks. Sometimes it stops if I log off and re-log on to the server, but now it's starting to do it when I've been on for awhile, wheraes before it would start as soon as I was logged on. Huh.

That could be, but it only happens when online. I think rather than the monitor itself, its the screen connection of the server. Like the regular clicks on a phone that indicate someone listening in, only visual.

Maybe you've been hacked. Maybe I've been hacked. Through Internet Explorer, computers have been hacked and keystrokes recorded. Don't use IE. I've been having major browser problems lately. The net is really looking like a mine field anymore.  Time to buy stamps!

In addition, Mozilla might get you away from Outlook Express as well as IE - as it offers a mail client to boot (and IRC).

Edit: but firefox for just browsing is the way to go.  Unless you like Opera.

Whew. Thanks. Yes. I had read somewhere about Firefox and had planned to sign to it. Now I will. I know that Microsoft has been having all sorts of weird events of late...I'm so relieved you guys reminded me of this.

Simply switching browsers isn't going to remove any virus you may have. IF you run microsoft  you must have a virus checker with up-to-date virus definitions. Billy Gates earns $666,000 a year for a reason you know......:) )
