This is a very powerful thing. I have found that consciously working on this process has very beneficial effects which can be felt almost immediately.

It is suggested to send light/Reiki/love to all the aspects of the personality, whether sub-personalities or parralel physical and non-physical incarnations. Actually I am sure you have already identified some of them, haven't you?

My personal recommendations would be to hold a quartz crystal (previously cleansed) during the visualization/intending process. The bigger the crystal the better, those interested will have no difficulty findind info on crystal techniques on the net.

If you have concentration issues or are not used to working with 'intent' (i.e: Energy of Will) it is strongly recommended to make sure your firewalls are enabled...I mean, there are a lot of psychic protection methods available out there including some in the link I posted in the Link section (Wisdom's Door website).

I also found it is important to send Reiki/light/love not only to the various selves but to what is "IN, AROUND AND BETWEEN" them. This can be included in the stating of the intent when beginning the practice.

I never really considered working on this consciously. So far things seem to have just been coming to the surface on their own at the rate I can handle them. I feel if I start working on them consciously I might drown. I've noticed a definite pattern though in how these things work. The first level are your fears. Once you concentrate on a specific fear you'll find several issues behind that fear. And when you dig deep into each of those issues you'll find even more issues related to each of those. It's a complicated web of your personal "stuff" (as the Pleiedians put it). Then once you've cleared out a certain area of your "stuff", hints of your other current incarnations start coming to you.

So if you have any major fears, especially if they are hindering your everyday life, start working on them asap. Stop beating around the bush and just confront them face on. This doesn't mean you have to actually play out the situation you fear to overcome it. For example, if you have a fear of being homeless, you don't have to become homeless to overcome it. Just reason it out in your mind and let peace come to you, knowing that if you are ever in such a situation, it won't scare you.

Here is an excellent method to use in overcoming fears: Always think objectively in terms of the Big Picture. If you're afraid of something, your picture isn't big enough. smile Keep expanding your perspective of reality slightly until the fear is no longer there. This will require a quiet moment to yourself as your viewpoint changes and adjusts so that you don't feel uncomfortable.

Ok. I understand your point. Sending light, love or even Reiki (in case you are trained to do this) will not drown you. Do not think of light or love energy as some overpowering thing which will fry your brains. Not having enough light or love has more chances of frying brains, actually! (lol).

The best way to put it is: Listen to your heart and if you are frightened there is probably something great waiting for you on the other side of that fright and you will get it once the fright has been overcome.

This facilitates the blending (=merging, communication, assimilation) between all the various aspects of the self.

The practice of sending light or love to the selves is mentionned in "Bringers" but I couldn't find the exact quote.
