Topic: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

I've written before about the damage that tattoos and piercings do to the etheric body, but recently a wonderful lady wrote to me asking what she could do to heal the damage.  I hadn't covered this fully in my past article, which was more an outline of how the damage happens. She inspired me to write about how to heal the effects.

I thought some folks here might be interested in it since there was a prior thread here about tattoos and stuff.

Please keep in mind that I look at these things from the vantage point of an energy sensitive who can directly perceive the energy body in holographic form and also as a shamanic healer.

I never  gave much thought about tattoos one way or another until a bunch of synchronistic events arose in my own life surrounding the issue of healing an old tattoo I'd received in a ritualistic way in a past life in Japan. I got a black dragon tattoo and was part of a cult that worshipped a black dragon as its protector and guiding entity - dragons can be very nice, but black dragon is tremendously demonic. Interesting how the black dragon is so tied to many martial arts cultures!

Anyway, the tattoos and piercings are experienced as trauma to the energy body and cause holes to open in the auric field. Over time, psychic gunk, negative goop and stuff, accumulates within the holes and throws the person off.  I worked with one case where the guy had a huge tattoo on one wrist and he had also spent some time working on a nuclear submarine, and the nuclear energy effects were actually STUCK in his tattoo, causing him health problems.  So these holes caused by tattoos and piercings can create sieves that "catch" all manner of goop over time, both chemical, energetic, and psychic poisons, until you close those holes up and do some real healing in that spot.

I mention this for the benefit of anyone who has received a tattoo, who may be aware that something is "off" -- many tattoo recipients experience a gradual sense of unease, low level depression, fatigue, personal relationship problems, and other stuff over time the more years that they've had a tattoo. And I also mention this for those who might be thinking about getting a tattoo or piercing. You CAN heal the damage, so this latest article I posted is a solution-based one.  There's no need to be an alarmist about this, it's just helpful to understand the energy effects. The information I've posted is culled from healing work done on myself and many others, all first-person wisdom, nothing is theory here. So the healing techniques I mention have all been proven effective.

The first article is

Today's follow up piece offering some healing solutions is

How Can I Heal the Etheric Body After a Tattoo or Body Piercing?

Again, this is my perspective and the perspective of a group of healers in my circle, and we are still learning about this, as with all things. So none of us claim to possess ultimate "truth!"  Everything is simply offered as info that might help those who resonate with the material.

Thanks for letting me share, and as always, I invite feedback.

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

Very interesting LipstickMystic, i posted in the former tattoo thread about how negative symbols as tattoos may be harmfull but you go into far more detail. The tattoos i see of ancient/cabbalistic/babylonian/illuminati symbols do leave me feeling uncomfortable as many of the people that wear them may have no idea of what they really represent or the forces behind them.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

Muchos Gracias LipstickMystic, the topic is very synchronistic for me, as last night I had a very weird dream about living in a collective, self-sustaining community with many tattooed and pierced young people. The overall vibe I recieved from those with tattoos and piercings was positive, though there was an extremely negative section in the dream, where I and my compadres were under threat from a group who lived on the outskirts of this collective, self-sustaining community, some of whom were very young, but all of whom had decaying, rusty metal piercings.  These beings were negative in the sense that they did not seem to have any 'psi' awareness, little or no spiritual development and displayed a heck of a lot of vulgarity towards me and my compadres.
There is a also a synchonistic aspect to this thread in my 'reality', as just last week a former compadre and bandmate of mine who is totally covered in tattoos got in contact for the first time in three years!
To see her tattoos here's a link to her 'myspace' profile: Chrissy

I'll be sending her a link to your articles.

btw, about ten years ago I had my eyebrow pierced. It has, of course, grown over and i haven't had it re-done, but are the effects on my etheric of something so long ago still worth healing consideration?

Muchos Gracias again for the info.

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

WARNING: JERK ALERT!
(I was going to delete my post, but I hate it when people do that so I'll just add a warning. Please ignore what I wrote below and continue with the thread. I won't post in this thread anymore. Sorry about this, everyone!)

------------------------------------

Maybe I'm just being cynical, but this seems like an attempt by someone who makes their living as a new age healer to open up another revenue stream by convincing tattooed people that they are automatically in need of etheric healing. There are 40 million people with tattoos in the US, and that number is growing as tattooing becomes more socially acceptable. Even so, according to the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, 50% of people who get tattoos eventually want them removed. So that's 20 million people who have or will have negative feelings about their tattoos. Lots of potential profit there.

I'm sure you mean well, but I just don't see how a tattoo is any more "etherically significant" than a scraped knee, an artificial joint, a filling in your tooth, or pierced ears. If the application of the tattoo is accompanied by some sort of ritual, then maybe there might be some spooky stuff going on, but how often is that happening? I'm sure there are a lot of wiccans and pagans doing tattoos, but those guys are known for being respectful of other people's spiritual sovereignty. They don't go around putting spells on strangers, because according to their beliefs it would be foolhardy to do so. If the tattoo is some kind of intentionally negative Satanic symbol, then maybe it might be causing spiritual problems, but I think this is rare as well. I just don't think Joe Sixpack with his Tazmanian Devil tattoo has anything to worry about, aside from whatever may be in the ink. And I'm sure there are millions of other things that are far worse for you than tattoo ink. This subject reeks of opportunistic fearmongering to me because it is reminiscent of the way Scientology works: convince a person they have a problem they can't prove doesn't exist, (invisible body thetans) offer them a way to fix the problem, (regular auditing) then conveniently charge them money to apply the fix (OT leveling).

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

Excerpt from "Practical Psychic Self Defense" by Robert Bruce

Would it surprise you if I said energy body attachments can cause skin blemishes? The look of incredulity that is probably on your face would mirror my own when I discovered this phenomenon. It involves a strange procedure I have been tinkering with for years. This highlights the relationship between certain types of skin blemishes and Neg attachment points. These attachments can be broken by removing the skin blemishes themselves with nothing more than a ballpoint pen.

I discovered this method by accident. Years ago, my then-three-year-old son had a large strawberry birthmark (called a nevus), about three-quarters of an inch across on his upper forehead. He was born with this. At that time, I was experimenting with ways to remove skin blemishes but without success. On a whim one day, I marked this birthmark with a cross, drawn with a blue ballpoint pen.

A week or so later the ink had faded, gradually having washed off in showers. However, when the ink was finally gone, something extraordinary appeared in its place. The ink cross had caused a
bleached-white cross to form on the birthmark. Closer examination showed the swelling and redness of the blemish had faded from under the ink, leaving a clear white indented cross. This cross was also a little crooked, following the outline of the original ink cross exactly.

In earlier times, suspected witches were given a physical examination before any other proceedings were carried out. Witch examiners searched them for physical evidence to prove the suspects were witches by looking for certain types of skin blemishes, in particular, gristly tumors and hard areas of skin. These were of the type that would not bleed if a needle were inserted. Such a mark was said to be the Devil's Mark (Stigmata Diabolis), the Devil's Seal (Sigillum Diabolis), or Witch's Marks; this last type included protruding tumors at which demons were said to suckle. The discovery of such tumors and blemishes was considered the definitive proof, at the time, of being a witch, and justified torture and sentence of death, regardless of other evidence.

The theory of certain types of skin growths being indicative of Neg attachments seems consistent across various cultures and religions. I was unsuccessful with my efforts to obtain comment on this matter from the Vatican's demonologists. However, I speculate that knowledge of the relationship between Negs and skin growths (in particular granulomas, which are hard gristly lumps that when pierced with a long needle cause no pain and do not bleed) was obtained from the personal experience of church exorcists. They would have had to be blind not to notice the direct relationship between demonic possession and granulomas, especially as these marks appear at the instant of possession and burst at the instant of exorcism.

I also speculate that the modern Vatican still holds these views because they still perform demonic exorcisms today. These skin symptoms were involved with my own possession and release, and with the demonic possession and exorcism of many others I have helped, so I support this theory through my multiple observations and experiences.

The concept was supported in Judaism by the Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Zaccuto  (1625-1697) who wrote in his work, Igerret
H'Ramaz: "One of the primary ways to tell if a person has a negative entity attached to them is if there is a growth anywhere on their body." Another more modern Jewish view was put forward by Dovber Pinson in his book, Reincarnation and Judaism. Pinson revealed that the Hebrew word for a negative entity, Dybbuk, literally translates as "attached." He writes: "When a person is possessed by a dybbuk ... he feels something external to his own existence now present, inhabiting and functioning within his body."

Types of Blemishes Associated with Neg Attachments

My experiments indicate a wide variety of lumps, tumors, and skin anomalies, even rough or hard patches of skin, can be related to Neg attachments. However, the exact type of blemish does not seem that important. Most are simple skin anomalies related to insignificant non-threatening energy body attachments. One can liken most of these to the barnacles on a ship's hull in that they are of no real significance or threat to the ship (in this case, the body) itself.

My theory of skin blemishes is based on how the mechanism of physical diseases and disorders are caused by energy body dysfunctions and aberrations. Science has a profound knowledge of chemical and biological causative factors underlying human diseases and disorders, but which comes first: physical symptoms or energy causes?

In my experience, disease first manifests in the energy body. Signs of disease appear in the aura (the field of subtle energy body radiations visible to clairvoyants) long before any physical symptoms appear. In one case, I viewed a woman's aura and I noticed a dark, murky-green patch covering the right side of her head; it was shot through with red and orange sparks. Three days later, this woman developed an acute infection in her right ear. This infection responded to antibiotics and slowly healed over the next two weeks, but the signs in her aura took another month to fade.

While I have only scratched the surface with my studies in this area, they indicate that a wide variety of common skin anomalies
can result from Neg energy body attachments. The most significant are the seemingly harmless, benign, gristly tumors called granulomas. These first appear as soft lumps or blisters and slowly harden over a few weeks.

The only way to discover the significance of a skin anomaly is to test it by applying the treatment method (description follows) and observe how the skin problem reacts. In a sense, the treatment is also a diagnosis. If a skin anomaly containing a Neg energy body attachment is treated, changes and side effects will indicate its significance. Warts do not seem to respond well to this treatment, but as I have not had the opportunity to work on many, perhaps a longer treatment time is needed.

Neg attachment points affect the physical body in much the same way as do acupuncture needles when inserted in the skin. These points interfere with the flow of subtle energies within the human energy body (connecting, disconnecting, or redirecting the energy currents) which in turn affects the physiology of the physical body. A single energy body attachment may cause a single skin blemish or a network of interconnected skin blemishes.

Skin blemishes seem to be linked with core images. But it's difficult to identify relationships between particular blemishes and the core images that may be their root. However, a combination of ink diagrams, body-awareness actions, and core image removal seems the most effective way of removing them.

The underlying theory of skin blemish removal is simple. Any Neg-related energy body attachment point will contain a subtle energy filament. The energy of this filament is unnatural to the human energy body and causes a disturbance at the site of attachment; this in turn affects biological processes on and within the human body, such as skin, flesh, muscle, organs, bone, etc. Energy body attachment points can thus cause a wide variety of physical abnormalities.

An ink line drawn on the skin causes subtle energies to flow along it. An ink diagram enclosed within a circle attracts subtle-energy, creating a small vortex of concentrated subtle energy. This concentration of energy interferes with energy body attachments and in time disconnects them. The reverse may also apply in that ink diagrams may block or shield subtle energies from skin blemishes, thereby "starving" Neg attachments. However, I think this less likely than the previous scenario. An ink design clearly interferes with the subtle energies associated with any type of Neg energy body attachment. The energy body eventually rejects the attachment and heals that area of the energy body. The physical body then rejects the biological aberration (the skin blemish) and rebuilds itself according to its natural template.

In the early days of my experimenting with this method, the possibility was raised by some of my volunteers that maybe I was personally affecting the skin blemish removal process. It was considered possible that I was carrying out an unusual type of spiritual healing, so that it was not the ink diagrams, per se, that were causing the phenomenon in question, but me.

A young woman undertook to prove this factor one way or another for herself. Without telling me, she began treating a large, black, flat mole (a third of an inch in diameter) on her stomach that had been there all her life. Four weeks after she began this experiment, I received an excited phone call from her. She had just peeled the mole off while taking a shower; this bled a little afterwards, but healed quickly to the usual white color. The next day, she showed me the place where the mole had been. The white color faded over the course of a year and left no scar in its wake. The point here is that the woman removed this mole with no help from me, thus disproving the suggestion that I, and not the technique, was the specific source of the healing.

Regardless of type, not all skin blemishes will respond in exactly the same way. For example, two people may start treating similar moles at the same time using the same blue ink diagram. One person will have a good response and remove his mole in a reasonable length of time while the treatment will have no effect on the other person's mole. It seems logical then that blue ink diagrams may only affect a particular range of Neg energy body attachments.

The types that are affected may involve energies that are easily interfered with by the subtle energy body stimulation caused by blue ink diagrams. The color and composition of the ink used
thus may be responsible for these variations, affecting success rates accordingly, so if a skin blemish does not begin responding in a reasonable length of time, some experimentation with color and ink composition and alternative designs may be in order.

Treating and removing some types and patterns of skin blemishes may affect some health and disease conditions. Again, little is known about this factor. In any event all medical conditions, especially diabetes, should be closely monitored during mole removal treatments.

I removed a number of small, gristly skin tumors (granuloma type) from my body using a combination of ink diagrams and rapid body-awareness actions. These tumors carried significant Neg attachments. It was interesting to see how they responded under treatment.

While relaxing and using rapid body-awareness actions on a small lump on my right hip, I felt a noticeable stinging sensation coming from it. Then, I felt some faint stinging lines connecting this with several similar small lumps on my right side, back of neck, elbow, lower back, left knee, and right big toe. It was clear these were connected and possibly were a network of attachments.

"The types that are affected may involve energies that are easily interfered with by the subtle energy body stimulation caused by blue ink diagrams." May support the idea that tattoos affect natural etheric energy streams like stones tossed into a stream.

I agree with Czyx that their effects might not be much different from scars or scrapes, though scrapes heal and scars seem to have a corresponding imprint in the etheric that maintains the scar. So both scars and tattoos could be etherically active, thus based on the evidence and reasoning I agree with most of what Lipstick-Mystic posted.

Food for thought:

* how would piercing the ears affect one etherically? Does this have anything to do with the custom being more for women than men? What about piercing only one ear - would that contribute to a left-right imbalance?

* if words written onto a glass of water imprints the water, what effect might a tattoo have on the physical and etheric body?

* if you tattooed yourself with all the demonic sigils of the necronomicon, I wonder what effect that might have over the decades. If none, then tattoos are entirely benign.

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

Hi Czyx,

You make some excellent points about the need not to be in fear or to allow others, self-proclaimed healers or no, to knock you out of your sense of personal sovereignty.

However, in terms of criticizing me in particular, I'm afraid your comments aren't  applicable. I don't do healing work on individuals for pay anymore. (I had a full-time psychic counselling practice for a decade but retired it six years ago.) I don't even DO healing work on individuals unless it's close friends or family or those I am in a healing "barter" situation with.

My work these days is mostly focused on trying to heal the land (full-time job, that one!) animals, and nature.  So you won't see me setting up healing sessions through my website, and in fact, if you were to contact me privately about needing healing, I would simply recommend a healer I trust if I happen to know one in your area. And since I don't mix with many healers these days who have shingles set up to do their work professionally, mostly, I'd be referring you to books, ideas, and concepts so that you could complete this work on yourself. I'm very into the do it-yourself healing thing, since ultimately, we are each responsible for both our health AND our ill health. All of these techniques are easy enough to learn, and there are always healing modalities that will resonate well with someone, if they keep trying different ones.  It doesn't take long to get up to speed and become quite effective as a healer.

If you can't see the energy body, that's fine, I totally respect that what I've described will sound off base to you.  But you're acting like I had an agenda in posting this that was personal and greedy.  I don't.  I'm a synchronistic writer who likes to share information I feel might be of benefit to a broader audience if an interesting subject crosses my path in a given week, and with this lady's letter prompting me to share some of what I learned, I thought I'd share it here as well since there has been interest in the tattooing/piercing subject.

It's funny, I calculated the other night that in the past three years I've written over 10 books worth of free material in private emails to people who have sincerely requested info, on  my own website, and in various spiritual/alternative forums.  Over half a million words. Haven't made any money from that, either. This is addition to my freelance "day" job where I do get paid to write astrology columns and holistic health articles. I'm talking about the free stuff. The public service stuff.

It's funny, too, how people don't value content that is openly, lovingly, and in an educated manner shared with others.  Any healing technique I talk about is something I've had extensive experience with myself (via healing sessions for FREE or healing sessions I've observed and compared notes with in my circle of fellow healer pals. And also I go back to the work I formerly did in private practice with over ten thousand individuals.)  That either has value or not. Its value will be subjective or next to nothing for some. For others, they may find it useful.

Thanks, too, for bringing up an important point. Namely, such sharing is largely an unwelcome endeavor, over all.  When you devote over 30 hours a week to this stuff and get very little in response (except, admittedly, the tremendous rush of discovery and learning, which is a huge turn-on for me, obviously, otherwise, I wouldn't keep doing it!).....at some point, the energy imbalance becomes severe. Not enough is flowing IN while you continue to GIVE.  These are issues I need to address, and I thank you for providing a wonderfully cynical and personally attacking response, which is typical of 99% of what I receive from people. It's an excellent reminder and wake up call.

Either I need to go underground soon, or I will be withdrawing from contributing at my own site and in public forums.

Because it hurts like hell when you try to share genuine research on topics that are incredibly important - about the health and well-being of others in your culture that you truly care about -- and are constantly accused of having base motives.

And remind me again - since when was making money evil, anyway?  If this were a forum where it was appropriate to promote your own services, and that was what I was doing, why would that be bad, again? It's so funny how in the world of healing work, healers are pressured to go into poverty, self-sacrifice, and relive the whole monastery thing that has been present through the centuries. But at least if you're part of a church or monastery, there is an occasional tithe coming in to help keep you fed. We don't tithe in this culture.

I battled with myself this past week since many people had asked if they could contribute money to my main website, and I'm reluctant to put out a "handout" button because I like to share information and don't like to hold it hostage to money.  Then I did put it up this past Sunday, a PayPal donation button.  I'm sure someone like you takes one look at that and the few affiliate links I have at my site to products and vendors who have good energy and sell some nice things - self-help programs, spiritual jewelry - and go, "Gee, she's just in it for the bucks!  What a B%&*CH!

Yes, that $20 a month I receive from those vendors has enabled me to buy a nice condo in Trump Tower. I'll be inviting all of you over for dinner any day now. Do you like red wine or white wine? smile

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

No matter what the truth may be about tattoos or weed, I can't foresee any tattoo-wearer or weed-smoker choosing to be unbiased in such debates if it means sacrificing a part of their identity. Remember the last thread about tattoos? There are no winners in debating a topic like this. The consequences are plain to see. Watch out - it's a sensitive topic during a sensitive time. Don't get punked by the negs.

Dammit... I see from LipstickMystic's buh-bye post it's too late. Should have known, but wasn't my place to stop it. That saddens me but I must remember the Law of Allowance. Well, maybe things will get patched up after the heat subsides.

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

I am not going to get in the spiritual side of this argument but after reading some of these posts I got curious as to what are the components on the ink used in tattoos.  Here is what I found:

BROWNS, FLESHTONES - Made of ochre.
"Ochre is composed of iron (ferric) oxides mixed with clay. Raw ochre is yellowish. When dehydrated through heating, ochre changes to a reddish color."
RED - Made of cinnabar, cadmium red, iron oxide, or napthol.
"Iron oxide is also known as common rust. Cinnabar and cadmium pigments are highly toxic. Napthol reds are synthesized from Naptha. Fewer reactions have been reported with naphthol red than the other pigments, but all reds carry risks of allergic or other reactions."
ORANGE - Made of disazodiarylide, disazopyrazolone, or cadmium seleno-sulfide.
"The organics are formed from the condensation of 2 monoazo pigment molecules. They are large molecules with good thermal stability and colorfastness."
YELLOW - Made of cadmium yellow, ochres, curcuma yellow, chrome yellow, or disazodiarylide.
"Curcuma is derived from plants of the ginger family; aka tumeric or curcurmin. Reactions are commonly associated with yellow pigments, in part because more pigment is needed to achieve a bright color."
GREEN - Made of chromium oxide ("Casalis Green" or "Anadomis Green"), Malachite, Ferrocyanides, Ferricyanides, Lead chromate, Monoazo pigment, Cu/Al phthalocyanine, or Cu phthalocyanine.
"The greens often include admixtures, such as potassium ferrocyanide (yellow or red) and ferric ferrocyanide (Prussian Blue)."
BLUE - Made of azure blue, cobalt blue, or Cu-phtalocyanine.
"Blue pigments from minerals include copper (II) carbonate (azurite), sodium aluminum silicate (lapis lazuli), calcium copper silicate (Egyptian Blue), other cobalt aluminum oxides and chromium oxides. The safest blues and greens are copper salts, such as copper pthalocyanine. Copper pthalocyanine pigments have FDA approval for use in infant furniture and toys and contact lenses. The copper-based pigments are considerably safer or more stable than cobalt or ultramarine pigments."
VIOLET - Made of manganese violet (manganese ammonium pyrophosphate), quinacridone, dioxazine/carbazole, and various aluminum salts.
"Some of the purples, especially the bright magentas, are photoreactive and lose their color after prolonged exposure to light. Dioxazine and carbazole result in the most stable purple pigments."
WHITE - Made of lead white (lead carbonate), titanium dioxide, barium sulfate, or zinc oxide.
"Some white pigments are derived from anatase or rutile. White pigment may be used alone or to dilute the intensity of other pigments. Titanium oxides are one of the least reactive white pigments."

I also researched the type of metal used on body piercings.  Here is what I found:

Good Choices for Body Piercings
“¢  Surgical implant stainless steel, 316 LVMF 138
“¢  Surgical implant titanium, Ti6A14V ELI
“¢  Niobium
“¢  14k or 18k gold, yellow or white
“¢  A special plastic called Tygon for people who are sensitive to metals
Poor Choices for Body Piercings
“¢  Sterling silver, because it oxidizes when it comes in contact with body tissues and fluids. You've seen silver tarnish--that's definitely not something you want in an open wound!
“¢  Plated gold, because the plating can rub off and expose a metal that reacts with our bodies, causing irritation or infection.
“¢  Any type of fake gold or other jewelry made from base metals, since they will be likely to corrode when exposed to body fluids.

Notice that almost every tattoo ink has some type of metal or metal oxide as one or more of its components.  Some of these ink metals components and body piercing rings are paramagnetic and some of them are not.
Blood circulates through our body carrying many types of ions (Ca+, Na+, Cl- and others) as well as potassium and other minerals to maintain a certain electrolyte balance.  The movement of the blood through the body carrying these ions produce very minute current flows that in turn generate what we call the physical aura (for lack of better terms).  This physical aura is magnetic in nature and can be measured when the correct equipment is used.  Some people may be able to see it (I can’t!) with the naked eye.  By introducing chemicals in our system (inks with high content of metals) and metallic parts such as rings and others there is a possibility that the magnetic field around the body can be skewed, deformed, enhanced or reduced.  These effects I suspect are subtle or negligible for someone with one tattoo or one piercing but may be measurable for someone possessing multiple tattoos or body piercings.  People who can see this type of aura may be able to see these changes and therefore conclude tattoos and piercing are deplorable to the aura.  Well, if the aura has just been distorted then it makes no difference but if the aura has loss its strength or magnitude who is to say that one must conclude that the same has occurred at the spiritual level?  I think that more information is needed but it may not be a bad idea to reduce the number of tattoos and piercings to just a few (if not one of each).  If not for yourself do it for your country!

Regards,

Lee

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

Montalk,
Great info on attachments from the Robert Bruce book.   I have to try the ink cross on a small mole I have on my stomach and see what happens.   I've heard that magnetic sleep pads also work well on healing things like this, I wonder if Robert Bruce knows about this?  Thanks again for the tip from the book!

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

LipstickMystick,

I read through the two articles on this subject at your website and was particularly drawn by your recommendation of Dr. Modi's book.  I brought it up using Amazon's "look inside the book" feature and find the table of contents extremely interesting.   It looks as though Amazon doesn't have any new copies available, but quite a few used booksellers have the title available at reasonable prices.  I ordered a copy for myself and, on a hunch, another for one of my relatives who is a nurse and totally locked into the mainstream view of things.  I think the fact that the book is written by a board-certified professional will help bridge the gap a bit.

That's how the dark side works, girl.  wink  It's unfortunate, but, that's the way it is.

They either directly attack you, or they work through vulnerable people, getting them to  be reactive puppets who can't control their own reactions.   And the end result?  Well, they're hoping you'll sit down and shut the f*ck up so that they can continue to successfully trick all the gullible and naive people who believe a lot of screwball things and take part in many detrimental practices...to the benefit of the dark side.  You're here warning people about the downside of tats and piercings.   You obviously struck a nerve with something!

Which is all the more reason to press onwards and upwards. wink

I mentioned in your Buh Bye farewell thread that I myself have encountered too many people to count going off on me and popping their top on this forum.   I've wanted to quit too, but in the end realized it was silly to let them have that kind of influence over me.    If I were to sit down, shut up and quit, they win.  You have to know and expect that if you're out there shedding some light on the darkside that they're going to come after you.  You have to let it roll off of you, you have to see through it and see it for what it is.   Then it becomes funny in its one dimensional predictability.

What did we have here today?   A combination of moon period, and a highly reactive person lashing out at you due to ego..................because he happens to have tattoos.    And he didn't like the fact that you're pointing out the negative aspect of tats.

Your post has nothing to do with czyx personally, yet, he took it personally.    I've encountered this very same thing in other things.  God forbid I dare mention that I don't watch TV......ten people will jump on the thread and give long winded, boring, unnecessary posts defending their own TV watching habits.   Like I care!  Who gives a f*ck!    I don't like TV.  I don't care about them and the fact that they happen to watch it.   Ego ego and more ego.  It never fails.   You can't talk about the drawbacks of anything on a messageboard forum, be it drugs and hallucinogenics, tattoos, TV, alien abductions being a bad thing, etc. without people reacting out of defensive ego.  It's tired and tedious.    Just call them out for it and move on.   "Hi, how ya doin,  ego reacting, Hi, how ya doin' Hi, did you know that you just composed a whole paragraph defending yourself when nobody was even talking to you?  Hi, how ya doin..."

I may start a thread about this topic actually.  The fact that people can't even so much as mention the drawbacks of anything without some proponent of such getting their feathers ruffled out of personal defensive ego.........and rather than addressing the topic at hand in a neutral way, they get negative and make personal derogatory comments, and begin defending themselves.  Tired!  Tedious!  Over it!

Re: Tattoos and piercings damage the etheric body

I'd just like to add that I like czyx's posts, and that he nearly always has something intelligent to say.  Wanted to add this in - because the guy doesn't need to beat himself up over one off-beat post...especially as such a post is unusal for him on these forums.

What's interesting though is that it's one supposedly good poster going after another.

"Divide and Conquer" comes to mind....
