Well I believe both John Edwards and Silvia Brown are both legit. I've enjoyed both of their appearances on T.V. (with JE's show, and SB's appearances on shows like Larry King, Montel Williams, etc).
Given they are psychic, that means they have an active third-eye (brow-chakra) via an active pituitary gland (or so I think). This certainly implies that their level of intuition, telepathy, and precognition can be tuned to the level of practice and development they plunge their time and effort into. But precognition is an iffy subject, because most here (this forum) believe that time works like a grid, with infinitely abundant parallels of probabilities at every given moment, so if Silvia wants to sell her books on her "prophecies", she wont get much attention from our sector. Why would we when there are plenty of those types already out there, like Edgar Cayce for example. But when it comes to their ability to connect to perhaps the 5th dimensional zone or 3-D earth-bound spirits, I'm sure that alleviates the stress death brings to families.
I think these types of people will be more comon as the years roll-by. There is a huge wave of energy-workers, developing their bioelectric-circuits as we speak, that will soon trigger out their own abilities, rendering Silvia and John as 'average'.
