Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

At the time, I was reading the RA material.  By searching on "4th density"  I found the Cassiopaea site and then the Montalk site.

Specifically, as I have written before, I found the article "Harry Potter: Introduction to 4th Density?" then I found montalk.net and then Noble Realms.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

I got kicked out of school, and one day soon after I typed something along the lines of "school sucks" into google out of boredom and the need to find something that didn't tell me that I was doomed to fail the rest of my life because I fell out of the mainstream. There had to be more to life than this. I clicked a random link, found and read an article by montalk titled "The Horrors of Public Eduction", and realized that I'd found just what I was looking for. Took me another year to find the forum though. Hello NR.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

Hello endgame! smile

Well, when I was smoking the ganja quite a bit I frequently visited these forums http://forum.grasscity.com/
They had one sub-forum called "Spirituality and Philosophy".  So I spent most of my time there talking about many theories that we're going through my head.  Then a fellow member gave a link to www.deoxy.org

So I chilled at that site for a bit experiencing what that site had to offer, although it was centered around terence mckenna and drug freedom.  But mind expanding nonetheless.  Then someone from that site gave a link to an article by Carissa Conti, who at the time I felt inspired to thank her for writting her piece.  It was the one titled "What are you going to DO about your life?".

Then since that was linked to montalk.net I started browsing and eventually found this site.  The funny thing was it was a little while until I realize carissa was lyra!  It only happened a few months ago.  I was like "Oh, so she wrote that".

But I enjoyed how the small synchornisities lead me to this site.  Well it must have been myself that led myself to this site in the end. wink

I actually visited that site and I remember giving links to some of the articles you wrote montalk.  This guy is saying thank you to you more than me!

Thank you

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll be honest with you, the first time I glanced through that article on the MCS I was thinking, "Yeah, another person who is going to spout some kind of wierd government conspiracy propaganda or higher power control kind of thing." But when I actually read that article (this is the second time i stumbled upon it) it really opened my eyes, I have never thought about things in my life that way. On top of which it makes just entirely too much sense. What is truly provoking to me is that I am not one that usually puts stock into this kind of thinking, I do my daily routine, and I don't question it, I don't do anything out of the ordinary, from an objective point of view I believe I am exactly like an average Canadian male. I'm not one of those people who believes themselves to be something above the rest of the heard, misunderstood or something along those lines, what I'm trying to say is I'm not something out of the lyrics of some teenage angst band. I guess what I really want to say is that it didn't take someone different to grasp the theory that you presented. The movie the Matrix always seemed kind of far off to me but something in the back of my head always told me what if. That article completely explained it in a manner more down to earth and it just clicked for me. Honestly, I have never read anything so provoking and so poignant that made me want to react so badly. I cannot thank you enough for that. Sorry if I rambled for awhile there, it's just opened my eyes so much.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

I found it via a link from a comedy forum. The person who posted the link was making fun of an article at montalk.net, saying it was crazy bullshit. I skimmed the article and made a snarky remark agreeing with the guy who posted the link. But then I started reading the other articles and I discovered that they expressed many things I had long suspected. The boundaries of so-called "sanity" had never allowed me to find very much enlightenment, so I decided to enter into "measured insanity" in a way I had previously been afraid to do. It was montalk's example that helped me with this. I saw that you could seriously consider extremely "crazy" things without losing rationality, reasonableness, and objectivity. The first thing I did after reading some of the articles was register for the forum. I was very impressed that montalk was using the open-source PunBB forum software, which indicated to me (along with the rest of his design and software choices) that he was competent, intelligent, contientious, and probably trustworthy. Untrustworthy sites almost never have the appearance of being someone's "baby". They range from being bloated with bad code, clipart and stock photos, to being sterile and creepily corporate, to being overwrought and self-important, to being disorganized (and/or center-aligned!) piles of text.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

Early in 2002 LKJ glowingly remarked to me about montalk/Tom. I checked out his website for about a year or so (heehee...loved shooting down the UFO big_smile ), and I joined the Yahoo version of NR about a month or two before it came to be in this form.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

I was doing research on the Montauk Project and I misspelled a word.  Did I spell that right? Purely serendipitous.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

I was also trying to further research on the Montauk Project, and lo and behold this site came up. Actually, in all earnest was SO yearning to communicate with like kind. This site was like not only the main course, but the grand dinner table filled with so much more than one could imagine!!!!!!!

Many of the recommended books have helped several family members and have enriched our lives so much.  (Don Miguel Ruiz, Theun Mares, DMT the spirit molecule, just to name a few off the top of my head.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

Hmmm... lemee dust off the cobwebs...

Found the Montalk site first, and I liked what I read there, so I was interested when the development of NR was announced. I learned to trust my intuition a long time ago, and only a few sites resonate like this one does! Lots of "stuff" happens that most people are unaware of, and this site just lets it flow.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

This has been very interesting! Closest I can do is give a short account of how NR came to be.

Once upon a time, during a high school bus trip in the summer of 1998, I saw the movie "Hackers." It inspired me to learn some programming, so I randomly picked HTML not knowing it's just a markup language. I learned enough in the first month to start a website containing a multi-part essay about various fringe topics. The essay was a rewritten version of a conspiracy document I had typed up and disseminated the year before. In 2001 after getting fed up with the banner ads at Angelfire, I set up montalk.net using the dark forest look and that annoying UFO that blew up when hovered over.

Fast forward to late 2003... had just left the Cass group, realized there was still hope for starting things anew, and noticed my guestbook was getting too busy. Two people independently suggested I start a message board, and so it began on YahooGroups... the linear format of Yahoo was so constrictive it felt too awkward to post...upon recommendation we quickly switched to PunBB.

For the benefit of casual readers, and as a matter of faith, I decided to make this forum open to read, open to join. We started with 15 members... now we have 900 registered and things are still stable enough to accommodate all types of discussions. The goal has always been to keep this place a casual  and orderly "discussion in the park" sort of place that would provide room for synchronistic growth to take care of the rest. Thanks to everyone who has constructively participated, it has done well smile

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

Don't quite recall:

Which came first: The Montalk or The Cassiopaea - Both were back to back.

Definite recall on this:

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

I found it through educateyourself.org as did Lee and ferticiva.
I think I found educateyourself.org through this alienated.blog-city.com - which has tonnes of links to very random places.

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

I found it through the montalk.net site when i was beginning to open up to shifting possibilities. The site was a revelation in that it was easily the most coeasive look at fringe topics i had encountered (and still is). I followed the link from there and have been coming back most days. I never really post much as my understanding of most topics is quite below par and dont really have the time at work to compose essays on my own experiences. I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to you all for helping me further understand this fantastic experiance we are all immersed in.  big_smile

Re: POLL: How did you find Noble Realms?

I had debated how to answer this question, and as I did, a VERY interesting thought popped into my mind.   It was one of those thoughts that was completely unanticipated by me and even made me smile, when it came through.   As first I thought, "oh that sounds too silly" but the more I thought about how it just seemed to slide in made me think it's probably from a deep level and 100% true!

The thought I had was "I was lead to NR by an Angel from Heaven".
