This morning I am listened to the local weather news then the show go into commercials.  When the show came back it was the same weather news I just listened to.  Same guy, same words......WTF?

Lee,

Wow, man.  This sounds identical to some things that happened to me in late 2001 and all of 2002.  I remember on 9/11/01 (yes, that day) watching the news and something caught my eye -- more than a few times throughout the day, the news ticker would jerk and go back a few words.  WHILE I WAS INTENTLY staring at it!  So i know for a fact it wasn't just me being distracted.  I asked others who I knew were watching the same station and nobody noticed anything.

Yes, other similar things have happened too.. along the same lines.  I just remember that one more vividly because of the date.

Welcome to my world..heh

Risen,

It has gotten to the point that I keep it to myself because my wife thinks I am losing it.  I can see it on her face.  Also, what are we suppose to do with these incidents?  What exactly is to be gained out of this?

I had that happen a while back. I was watching a news story about a kidnapping and murder and I knew I had seen that exact same newscast the day before, but my husband and friend insisted that it just happened and that I couldnt have seen it.    After 16yrs of marriage to my present husband, I suddenly started signing checks with my exe's last name, wierd!   What about the concept of soul group consciousness? Would that explain why some of us are experiencing the TL thing?

I honestly can say I do not know what made me change my street address on all my correspondence.   My only guess is that somehow I was sensing the future and knew what it would be.  I have not check with the city to determine if they changed the sign but I am tempted to do so.  It would be quite interesting to find out.

*What are we suppose to do with these incidents?*.....good question.  Its funny that I notice them but some people around me dont.  Im sure there are a lot of folks out there that notice this stuff and dont say anything because they think they are losing their mind.  Personally, im used to weird stuff going on.  *What exactly is to be gained out of this/*....well, I kind of find it exciting in a way.  I get a good *feeling* from most of these moments and feel relieved when I know Im not the only one.  Who knows, maybe somebody is messing with our reality and we are picking up on it...Im sure there is somebody on this forum who has a much more articulate theory than I do on the possibities, we've already seen a few.....anyone else?

These glitches indeed probably happen every day...it's just a matter of whether we begin to notice them or not.  (Think of "The Truman Show.")   Once we notice them, one way to look at it is to realize that there's more going on in this reality then we may have initially realized....so in a way, it serves as a message, reality's waving at you....Hi!

But what we choose to do with that information is entirely up to us....!

Yeah.  I noticed I am more receptive to these incidents since I started paying more attention to my surroundings.  Sometimes I just gaze at the wall or the floor and start seeing patterns & faces embedded on the surface being contemplated.   It appears that the universe and our realities are not as random as one might expect.   Our realities seems to be "contracts" designed to experience a set of events via some sort of fancy program with time glitches and a few forks down the road.  It kind of takes the idea of Free Will and throws it out the window.  Most of our experiences have been already preplanned with a few variances here and there where we can exercise a certain amount of Free Will, but not enough to change the experience agreed on.  Other than that it is all "written" and already lived.  At least that is the way it appears to me so far.

Lee

Re: Timeline Jumping or Manipulation?

Glitches show that old assumptions and rules are not universally valid. If you can figure out why these glitches happen, then you will know how to transcend old limitations and pitfalls. Like hacking the matrix by finding and understanding the hidden exploits. Of course, like eggs hidden for easter these exploits were meant to be found. Part of the transcendence game. Sometimes power is gained simply by not wasting it on illusions, other times power comes with applying something totally new. But no doubt, knowledge of "why" gives power by moving one up the chain of causality, like the Merovingian said in Matrix Reloaded. I think glitches at best show us glimpses of a greater reality. The hard part isn't learning from them, but having the guts to apply what is learned.  Reminds me of Thirteenth Floor, probing the boundaries of the city... or Dark City, tuning reality... or Truman Show, having fun with the script.

I remember hearing the news that Mandela died in prison, as well. I also thought
I read that Clarke had passed away, though more vaguely. The Mandela one, though, I remember saying to my mother, " I thought he was dead." Meroviangianashinations. Ah, the sly, slurpy burp of the "machinations."

Re: Timeline Jumping or Manipulation?

How about this:

Every thing that could ever possibly happen does exist, and is arranged thusly. Free will is the manipulation of the consciousness to move through these possibilities as one chooses, with overlaps occurring due to unlocked imprints... bearing in mind that the entirety of creation is encoded into each and every one of us, as we are inseparable from it.

Alushe,

Great thought!  It seems we actually exercise Free Will but not in this physical world or reality.  Free Will is exercised when we choose or agreed on a certain experience to unfold while in the physical world.   As far as glitches go I agree with Montalk, they are just reminders or glimpses of a greater reality.  The more we spot them the more aware we have become.

Well put, but it makes me wonder,.. Is it desirable (maybe not the best choice of words but after all we are in the garden of earthly delights) to try to achieve a vantage point where you could see and perhaps experience or at least learn from different timelines simultaneously(at least those which pertain to yourself)? If that is even possible while incarnated, would you then be robbing yourself of the experience you signed up for?

I've had moments where I at least thought I was there, we probably all have, some of mine were induced by drugs or love or whatever, some occurred in dreams or sleepy time. Very intense and had it all figured out at the time. Yet they were moments that didn't last and of course found myself back in 3D land where time and so-called solid matter exists. I'm able to retain a memory of something wonderful but the details get lost in the transition.

To me these types of experiences are similar to the glitches or overlaps in time in that they are a personal experience that usually only the experiencer perceives though sometimes can be shared by others (thanks, Sednasphere for confirming the Mandela thing, maybe I'm not crazy after all, ha) and it's cool when it does because you get some kind of confirmation, but usually it's just you. And it's totally meaningful to you and also totally useless in any kind of matrix or humdrum day to day scenario. Another carrot on a stick. Then I look back and I'm the one holding the stick, then I look at my watch and it's time to go to work and forget all about it. Man, I need a vacation so I can figure this out!

Re: Timeline Jumping or Manipulation?

There is this recurring theme in sci-fi movies that have truth in them, the theme being that in the battle between light and dark, things get majorly screwed up, but then something happens involving timeline rearrangement that alters the past and makes everything turn out fine.

I read it first in the Cass material, the idea that the transdimensional remolecularizer would be found one day, and those who find it have to choose between altering time to save the earth, or using it to .. not sure, to get themselves out of this reality. That was very similar to Matrix Reloaded where Neo had to choose the fate of Zion by picking between two doors. And at the end of Revolutions, despite everything having gone to pot, it all reset and everyone came back to life.

Another movie was Ice Pirates, that 80s sci-fi B flick. To get to a paradise planet, the good guys have to fight against bad guys aboard their ship while going through a time accelerant field. Everything messes up and they win, and upon winning time resets and they pass through on the other side fine. Or in one of the Harry Potter movies, some poor creature gets decapitated but the kids use a time travel pendant to undo it all. Also I watched Daywatch (Nightwatch 2) and it also involves an apocalypse being undone through reality rewriting.

Maybe it's just a literary cliche, but I'm thinking maybe our reality right now is the result of efforts to make things right coming from our future, from a previous iteration of the timeloop.
