Topic: Kicking the habit

Just thought I'd let those who care know, I have stopped my marijuana intake. I feel much clearer, but have noticed that I am living more in "physical space", and not having the abstract thoughts that led me to where I am ... Also, I have been having buzzing and pain in my head for the past few days on and off. But on the whole, I believe this is a move for the best. Any comments, or anything else to share?

My comment is: congrats!
I may piss some people here off by saying this but I personally loathe pot and think many fall into the trap of thinking it can lead to enlightenment, etc. In my most humble opinion it's purely negative. Anyway, regardless of my opinion, I'm glad you're off it and wish you all the best.

Re: Kicking the habit

I intended recently that anything bad for me would be rejected by my body. Well, the next time I lit up a joint, I got a terrible headache. A couple of days later I tried again and this time I vomited. Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it!

The opinions expressed here are not nessesarily the opinions of my true self. Something I'm working on, getting rid of false selves. Sometimes one of them takes over and tries (successfuly) to discredit me, lol!

Re: Kicking the habit

While cannabis may help the user to experience a pseudo-transcendent state of mind, it's other effect of clouding your thinking  probably outweighs any positive effects in the long run.   Playing some good meditative music in the background while in a sober state of mind is a much better way to do things.  If you're actively working at raising yourself spiritually and getting in tune with the infinite power of the universe, things can get a lot more interesting than anything you'd experience due to simply being stoned on pot.

alushe,
Good for you!  Pot can, from what I've read, put holes in your aura and make it very easy for you to have negative 4D beings try to control you.  Once you stop you make it much harder for any outside influences to manipulate you.  Most people are not aware of our 4D "friends" that we invite in by destroying our protective aura.

Keep up the good work!

Re: Kicking the habit

Alushe,

Congratulations.. I think it has some benefits if used only recreationally (read:sparingly) but I used it almost constantly for quite a few years there.  In 2002 I quit due mainly to some other problems, and I believe quitting was one of the best things I could have done.  I started "waking up" quicker, doing more, and my creativity actually went *up* which isn't something I expected.

Ok sure, I might have took a hit or two since then, but I'm not going back to smoking it on any regular basis.

Anyway it can be good but too much of any good thing can be bad ;-)

So have fun in your new freedom!

unclouded, vision clarified
a veil is lifted
from my vantage point I see:
All things clearly, my thoughts unfolding
