Is a small video running on Windows Media Player.  Go to Googlle and do a search for:

castup 1050 wafa sultan

You should be able to get it then.

Also, you can try this other links:

Re: Arab Interview

I can get links, but reloads constantly, it could take me days to get to the end depending on how long she is speaking.  Anyone, that was able to hear the entire thing, wish to tell what she said or the jest of it, anyway.

Here are some excerpts from her interview with Al-Jeezera

Re: Arab Interview

I think her views are more common than you might think from watching the mainstream media.  Iranian culture especially has other roots besides Islam.  Most people just aren't fanatics, regardless of religious or ethnic association.  Although fanatics certainly exist, they are rarely in the majority.  Most people most of the time simply want to live their lives.

Never Give Up!

Thanks Why.

Re: Arab Interview

Big balls indeed. I agree with some of what she said but think she overgeneralized the issue and bought into some stereotypes.

Thanks for your comment, freeme. As an Iranian-American I say you are right on.

Hi Ahurani!

I agree she overgeneralized but probably necessary because she is getting one shot at it and she is trying to make the most of it.  It is hard to have a discussion with an individual that charges at you yelling "blasphemy".   I do think she dared to make these comments because she is an American living in the USA.  If she was living in UAE or Saudi Arabia she would have refrained from commenting.  But I would understand that behaviour - Survival!

I grew up thinking all Americans were a bunch of exploiting yankees and now know that people are people no matter where you go.  You may dislike their leadership but the bottom line is that we are all decent human beings (well most of us).  Cultural imprinting is a terrible evil and very hard to overcome.  I consider myself "blessed" and so are my friends at NR.
