Re: Finding it increasingly difficult to focus / concentrate!

I'm glad some here see how important Karen's updates are.   I've run into other group's also following her updates very carefully to gain insights into what to do, and also not feel really "bad" with all the crap we have to go through.   I admit I'm getting hit from all sides too, and most of the time try to just not get too stressed by it, and those updates really, really help.

So I would hope many here spread the work on other BBS's about Karen's updates, since they so important for those of us gaining more awareness.     We probably won't see a let up anytime soon in the symptom's, since we have such an enormous amounts of change to get through until we're finally become more 4D.

One more thing I would like to add is that I constantly work on my intuition these days, from all different angles.  And the purpose of this is that eventually all of us will have to rely on our inner senses to perceive what to do, where to go, how to cope... etc, with all the changes going on.   Sure it's nice to have Karen and her updates, but I would not completely put all my trust in them, since any interference that could cut you off from her flow in information would then cause all sort's of depression.   I've noticed with myself that I'm constantly, on a day to day basis, getting intuitive nudges from all over, and I try to pay attention to these.  I would hope other's are doing the same, I would not wait to get into this.  What to eat and what not to eat, where to go and where not to go, how to do thing's more effortlessly, how to tune in constantly... and little hints here and there.... these are all the nudges we all get but so few pay attention to..... now's the time to pay attention.

Some suggestions would be to try automatic writing with your Higher-Self, and guides/angel's etc.    Read book's on how to develp your intuition (I can recommend some but I'm sure it's really easy to find those that would be best for you, by just asking your HS to lead you to them).

Get into any meditative practices that enhance and help awaken the 6th and 7th chakras and put you more in touch with your high guidance.  Now's the time to really work on this, don't put it off.  Make it a "hobby" or whatever that you look forward to practicing.   Now's the time to literally drop old and outdated thing's we have been habitually doing for year's and year's and spend more time trying to enhance our awareness.

I know everyone here probably know's this already, but repetition is very important, since in order to make changes we need a little kick now and then.

Keep up the good work and good luck!

I'm reminded of a few choice words the Cs occasionally noted: "...and therein lies the rub."

Re: Finding it increasingly difficult to focus / concentrate!

Hi Marcus et al--

This could be caused by too much computer usage. Computers encourage ADHD-like symptoms because of the pace of information being processed, along with multi-tasking. Constantly switching between windows, programs, and Web sites every few seconds is a sure way to shorten your attention span. I have personally noticed a direct correlation between the amount of my PC usage and my attention span. I usually spend hours on a PC every day because of my job, so my concentration is pretty crappy also.

But I've noticed that when I'm away travelling or just not using a computer for a few days, my concentration and attention span improve dramatically.

Another thing to consider is that when you're using a computer you're basically in complete control of your experience. You control what you see, hear, and experience from the machine. So when you go do something else that doesn't involve a PC, you'll become bored very quickly because you can't control or change what's happening, to please you or entertain you.

Seeker -- you're right -- the EMF of a CRT is not conducive to clear-headed and multi-tasking operations. I print the interesting threads off and devour them at Borders with a Mocha Freeze. Someday, I'll get a flatscreen display...

I have found that looking at all these threads today has done just what you said -- my attention span is ... what the heck is that on the wall!!??

I really like Auendove's idea at the bottom of her post...

'If you spin around on your chair really fast, things around here will make a lot more sense. '  (Gotta get a chair that spins now, anda flatscreen.... see what you did?!)   smile

Just wanted to add my name to the list of people who experienced this last week.
