Topic: Strange Scarring

Does anyone know of a medical condition that would cause random scarring? 

For a few years, I have had this tiny pit-shaped, perfectly round scars on my lower leg.  Now more scars are appearing on my face.  They look like pimples, but they're not pimples because they're made of scar tissue.  One appeared yesterday. 

I know abductions can cause similar scarring to appear, but I want to rule out a medical reason before I begin to consider that.

It could be a type of cyst. I have one on my shoulder, it's just pure scar tissue and I don't know how it formed but I do know that it's a cyst. I was advised that at some point I probably had a pimple or infected hair, scratch, etc. that became infected and it formed layers of scar tissue.

Hi Mutant Mouse,

I understand you concern.  For about a year now I have been concerned about one of my molars on the upper jaw (right side).  It is a strong good tooth but I get these thoughts that tell me there is something wrong with it, perhaps an implant,  and it is slowly doing something bad to me (like poisoning my body).  I cannot explain how I started thinking this way but the thoughts are very strong.  I have been very close to call my dentist , make and appointment and tell him "Pull it out!" no questions ask.................But I have not done it.   I am not quite sure of what to do.

P.S. I forgot to mention that tooth has a silver cap from 1983.  Sometimes I wonder if mercury was been used at that time and my body is detecting some of it leaching into the main blood stream.  Just a thought.

Mutant mouse--you might check out the psychoactive parasite thread on the Health Topic.
There appear to be fungal infections and lyme disease type infections causing strange
skin disorders.
Infected teeth can be an ongoing source of fungal/bacterial infection which drag down your
immunity.  Not to mention the mercury amalgams that dentists have used to fill cavities.

The round pit type scars on your legs remind me of a very recent expose about the
unsanitary conditions in beauty salons where pedicures are given.  It seems that they
don't sterilize the the foot sinks between customers and there are some very resistant
things that jump onto you while your feet are soaking.  Many unwelcome guests gain
access to your body via your feet.  Once I got a terrible foot infection at the "health club"
I was using, even though I used shower shoes.  Apparently clorox bleach doesn't kill
some of these things.
