Topic: Gov Arnold would need his own 9-11 to springboard to President

After Hurricane Katrina and the destruction of New Orleans I had a bad taste in my mouth wondering why officials did not take care of its citizens and let the world see this. My thought was that you would need a measuring stick for any future diasters and how better a measuring stick than New Orleans.  With all the rumors out there regarding CA and the March timeline regarding something major happening attack or major eathquake (a warhead was found a few weeks ago in a freeway in Symar CA btw) I think somehow if an attack was staged it would be more to get Arnold into the Whitehouse than to attack Iran. Just imagine if something major did go down in CA..Arnold would do the Total opposite than what the officials did in new Orleans (the Movie Twins-one twin corrupt and mischief and the other one perfect) I think That Anorld S would take charge and at the same time have a world platform for him to show that he is a true hero and patriot and people would talk about how officials did in New Orleans and how great Arnold did for CA.....Bush of course would not run and Arnold would........Then we have "End of Days"

It seems that I remember learning in school that if the nation is under attack, there are no elections...the parties in postition remain there for the duration of the event.  Bush said that he was going to be the last president we were ever going to have...maybe that's how. Think he said it in one of his earlier addresses to the nation.

Well, we did sit by and let one constitutional crisis pass back in 2000, at least enough of us did.  Then we had whatever the hell really happened on 09/11/01, then perhaps a more clandestine election rigging in '04.  Scary to think how we will be tested the next time, and whether the remaining positive aspects of the Rule of Law will endure.  Right now I think we would still need to have a few constitutional amendments in order to avoid riots, but after "who knows", who knows?

They did delay the New York primary that was to take place on 09/11/01, but that required awfully precise timing.

RIOT. It is humanities way of rebellion. Do you think the Boston Tea party should have been civil?

At this point riots are what is needed just to get issues recognized in the mass media. I do not believe in hurting innocents or rape or pillage but if a person wants to go toe to toe with the athorities, I believe as an American it is the person's right. Whatever society decides to do with that person after is a whole other issue...

The 2nd Amendment is about ARMING yourself for WAR against UN-AMERICANISM.

Na - I'd rather stuff my face with food, plop down in front of some porn and pacifiy myself with beer and drugs. I don't love my country that much...

No it won't and that's just what Bushco wants as an excuse to bring down the gauntlet.  People have to be smarter.

About Arnold, he looks like just another psychopath, and not a particularly bright one at that.  TPTB could *try* to stage an event to catapult him into the spotlight, but I seriously doubt Arnie could fake the compassion and intelligence needed to carry it through.  Clinton is about the only one in recent times charming enough to fake the "I feel your pain" line.  Maybe Kerry, but no one would follow Kerry at this point.
